Walls are like paper, wild children and a rooster that does not shut up from 4am till 5:30pm, ( not the owners children, they were very sweet) family run business that live in the premises, the bathroom was something else! Constant swimming pool in the bathroom with a wooden slat door, rooms were not ‘cleaned’ until around 3pm

Very responsive hotel staff, helped to solve any issues. A couple of times there were problems with Wi-Fi, as I understand, this is a common story for them. The shower is closed, poorly ventilated, otherwise everything is fine.

Very poor accommodation. Rooms are dated very old. No shampoo or body wash. Had to wait till 430pm to check in. One star is really more than I would give. For the price not value for money. Definitely not 4 star. I have nothing positive to stay.

We just came home after a 3 week stay in a deluxe room and would definitely book this hotel again! We were a little “worried” before arriving as some of the later reviews are very negative, but any concerns we might have had were whisked away instantly!
This is a beautiful little hotel and our room was spotless and of great size, no smells or bugs in sight! Every single member of staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you, the second we arrived we were greeted and assisted with our luggage to our room on the 4th floor (1402). The cleaning lady on our floor did such a great job and was so very friendly every time we met her, as were all staff!
The free shuttle bus to the sister hotel (all their bus shuttles!) was a very welcome bonus with free beach chairs, some days we chose to walk down to the bottom of the beach and rent chairs from the Thai family as we loved that part of the beach.
We didn’t have breakfast included with our stay so ate at to be sweet right next to the hotel some mornings, but did try the hotel breakfast buffet (300 baht for adults, 250 for kids) and found this much better than recent reviews, with a great selection of hot and cold food, fresh egg station, fruit and juice.
Several dining options within 5 mins walk, but note there is no sidewalk so you have to walk along the road. The hotel is generally in a very quiet area which appealed to us, so if you are after a party area you will have to travel. Families with young kids in strollers might need to rely more on transport options, we had no trouble walking anywhere with our 9 year old.
The hotel is obviously not brand new any more, but we found this just part of its charm.
Overall a very lovely stay and very good value!!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Getting around Koh samui is a bit difficult and slightly more pricey than most places in Thailand if you’re not willing to get a scooter so the three free shuttles from the hotel are definitely a bonus. However, we were slightly disappointed with the facilities on arrival as the photos are certainly outdated and the hotel is a bit more rundown now. The most problematic issue was that even despite keeping windows and doors closed we had bugs crawling across our beds and on the floors which was really not pleasant. It should be noted though that the staff were kind and always did their best to accommodate us. Also ac and free bottles of water in the fridge were a plus!

Very nice place to stay with excellent service. Very friendly and helpful people. Just a bit of a hassle to move around if you don't have your own transportation but the shuttle there is a shuttle to the beaches.

If I could give this place a zero I would. My partner and I booked two seperate rooms with another couple. The others couple room, the pool jets and lights where broken, outdoor lights didn’t work. The toilet seat was half ripped off and the lights were flashing in their main bathroom.
Mine and my partners room stunk of cigarettes upon arrival, I explained I was ansthamtic and their solution was to spray the room. The room was dirty as well as cockroaches running around.
After an hour and smell not decreasing I went down to reception and I politely asked to speak to the manager but was greated with a very rude response by an older receptionist. I explained the situation and she simply did not care. No apology no alternative options she just stood up and told me to contact my travel agent quite rudely. I tried to explain we booked online.
Finally after the other younger receptionist calling the manager who was lovely and very apologetic.
Very disappointed that they think those rooms where of acceptable quality.

There are COCKROACHES and ANTS in the rooms. The cockroaches are HUGE…the size of my finger. We found them all over our bags. The toilet didn’t flush and the shower was slow to drain. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working properly so it was very warm and humid in the room, too uncomfortable to stay even for 10 mins. The bathroom was worse…no airflow so I couldn’t even use the toilet comfortably without sweating. How is this a 4-star hotel? It is more like a 2-STAR MOTEL. The front reception wasn’t too friendly and the hotel refused to give me a refund even though we checked out the same day we checked in. We couldn’t stay even for a night. We rebooked to another hotel the same day.
