All 4 rooms we booked had issues with hot water. Have to on the water quite some time beforehand.
Pillows: too big and solid. Asians like us won't be able to sleep comfortably on it. Will get backache, neck ache. Housekeeping does not have good command of English, they said sorry no when we requested for smaller/softer pillows. Luckily second day our guide requested for us successfully.
Location: fantastic, near to Big C supermarket and 15 minutes drive to the local night market.
Breakfast: not much options but what we had was good enough.
Breakfast options:
Toast bread with butter and jam options.
Salad.
Congee with an assortment of side dishes.
Fried noodles.
Fried egg.
Some fried vegetables.
Basically Chiang Rai was a great place to visit.
