Maikaew Damnoen Resort

I really wish I got to stay here longer but unfortunately it was only for 1 night because of a change of plans on my part. But that one night was brilliant! The whole place was super peaceful and both pools were really great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were also really clean and well prepared. The restaurant meals and breakfast were delicious as well. The only fault I could give is that the mattress was very hard.
If you want to see the floating markets then this is definitely the place to stay. I will most certainly be coming back.

This is the best resort ever and I had a good time unplugging myself! The staff is very helpful and polite and the pool was relaxing and warm.

The rooms were big and had a great view 🪟 while the breakfast is of great value and a good way to experience Thai food!

💯 recommend especially if you want to visit the nearby Tao Tuk Luck/Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

Wonderful place to stay. All is very nice, the swimming pool is very quite and people are nice. We stayed in the apartment room that is OK, but for breathing the real atmosphere we strongly suggest to take one of the houses or bungalow inside the courtyard. Bycicles free. Only two bad things: 1. at breakfast they serve you eggs made with carrots and other vegetables + a salad (not fruit salad) and 2. There is a horse tied at the entrance forced to stay under the sun all day long for no reason.

With a choice of lovely swimming pools surrounded by Teak houses and plenty of wonderful nature. The sounds of the surrounding nature area make this resort a very chilled out place to be ?
Staff here are very efficient and friendly and speak pretty good English too, and if you make the effort in Thai they really appreciate that ?
The rooms themselves are spacious with good air conditioning and 100% as advertised. Plenty to see and do around the area, but be aware a hired car is preferable and out of season many places have restricted opening times.
We came as a party of 5 and the children are having a fantastic time in the pools and with the free bicycle hire , there is also a pool side bar ?
Breakfast here is generous and again the staff very helpful.
Fast WiFi is available throughout the resort and is without doubt the fastest I've experienced throughout Thailand.

What ever you DO NOT JOIN the Absolute Destinations group without doing some SERIOUS Research, my experience is that they Can Not be TRUSTED And you can obtain much better value sourcing yourself!
There Reps are Highly trained in befriending you and will you tell you so much of the high standards and personal service you will receive! Simple not true!!!

Great little huts. Amazing pool and great atmosphere. Shower was cold but we didn't need hot water due to the humid conditions. Great location to floating market's. Highly recommended
