Namaka Resort Kamala

We booked a three-day stay at this hotel to celebrate a birthday, expecting a memorable experience.
Unfortunately, our stay was marred by significant issues. From the first night, we experienced a persistent leak from the air conditioning unit.
Despite our initial complaint at 7 AM, the issue was not addressed effectively throughout our stay. The maintenance staff attended to the problem several times, but the leak resumed shortly after each supposed fix.
Communication with the hotel staff was also lacking.
After the first failed attempt to fix the air conditioner, we were informed that it had been resolved, only to return in the evening to find the issue unresolved.
Our requests for a room change were deferred until the next day, and by our second sleepless night, it was clear that no immediate solution would be provided.The response from the hotel was largely limited to apologies, with no real resolution or manager available to escalate our concerns. This lack of care was not what we expected from a 5-star hotel and was disappointing to say the least.
On a positive note, the hotel does boast beautiful views and is conveniently located near a promenade, cafes, and massage parlors if you are traveling by car. However, our overall experience was severely dampened by the issues we faced and the hotel's inadequate response.

This hotel is fraud. I've made fully prepaid reservation through Booking com, but hotel rejected to confirm a reservation on consulate's request and even send me a confirmation letter. I had made multiple calls with hotel reception/reservation, but everyone just told the same – "we see your confirmation on our system, but we can't send you a confirmation letter, and we can't say the reason". So, obviously consulate rejected my thaipass and I was forced to cancel my vacation to Thailand. After all of that, hotel rejected to make a refund, but obviously the all blame is on hotel. So HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED this hotel for thaipass / test-n-go and Sandbox programs.
