We were so impressed with this hotel. The location is perfect as it is situated at the one end of the beach away from the crowds. It has a beautiful pool area and the beach swimming area is stunning. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast spread in the morning is excellent. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful stay !

My wife and I were on holiday at the hotel. The hotel itself is very well located, there is a convenient exit to the sea and there are sun loungers. But there is always one person who comes out and throws things everywhere. One person can take 6-8 sun loungers at a time and then not show up for 2-3 hours. The air conditioning in the room did not work, but when it was fixed, it was simply impossible to set it and get it to a normal temperature. The room is either hot or freezing. The refrigerator is the same, sometimes it freezes, sometimes it doesn't. The door in the room also broke. Such a good hotel, but it is already falling apart.

Biggest complaint is the bathroom. It has floor to ceiling frosted windows in the shower and toilet which face the bed. One light switch for the shower, sink, and toilet. If someone gets up at night or napping to go in, the entire room lights up and wakes up the other person.
Only hotel in Thailand and Cambodia not to have conditioner. I travel with some but will use the hotels if I’m just getting into the ocean. No lotion either.
We did eat at the restaurant. Mediocre food. I do not recommend. We checked out after 1 night and booked accommodation nearby which was last minute and more expensive if we booked when we originally did for this hotel, but was way way better.
Pool was set up weird with squares in middle so you can’t really do laps or float much. And half is cut off for a kids area.
Beach is eroding and catches water and trash at the stairs. Also brings bugs.
Staff was very nice.

Had a fantastic stay at the Novotel Kamala Beach. I booked a room with the ocean view, which was a great decision. The navigation in the hotel is well organised, and overall is very comfortable. The only downside is the dishes for lunch/dinner, I would recommend going out for them and then come back for the drinks!

Our stay at Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach was absolutely magical! We stayed in a villa with the most breathtaking sea view and our own private rooftop pool—it was pure paradise.

Check in was easy and the resort was clean and the staff was nice! The food for breakfast and lunch was good! I liked the location on the beach because it was near a lot of things we had planned on the trip! I think the spa rooms could have been nicer though and the gym was so hot one day it felt like a sauna!

Lovely hotel next to the beach. Unfortunately, we were on our honeymoon, and our room had no view and was single beds. However, staff were quick to fix up the beds into one, although a bit uncomfortable.

I booked 3 rooms with them from 07-12 Aug and celebrated my daughter’s first birthday here.
Their hospitality is outstanding. All staff members are very helpful, and friendly and I want to specially mention Kathy at the front desk for being so sympathetic and welcoming throughout our stay. We had few hicccups with our room but she tried her best to fix it.
Even the other hospitality staff helped to fix minor setbacks that you can have when you stay in a tropical country of course.
Pros:
1 - location - beautiful beachfront
2- hospitality
3- quick service
4- breakfast spread
5- kids club house
Rest, if possible I would advise to book the sea view room or a villa as that would be better than standard rooms.
Standard rooms do look bit worn off but they are renovating on the go and building new blocks so should be ok.
Rest, their hospitality beats everything!
Recommended for travellers looking to relax on this trip away from hustle and bustle.

During our stay, the resort arranged a beautiful afternoon tea and a romantic dinner by the beach which were absolutely unforgettable. Compliments to the chef and his team for making some really delicious food for us.

The facilities are good, the location is in the end of Kamala beach. You can walk along the beach in the morning it’s private. The swimming pool is fairly small but it’s not crowded. The pool bar has happy hour promotion at 4-6PM. The rooftop bar has happy hours too at 6-9PM but it’s free for the same drinks. Breakfast is varied and the taste is not bad. I love to stay here in May , the weather either rainy or cloudy but it didn’t all day. So I recommend to have a vacation here. And finally I think the cost of the room is reasonable.That’s sounds great right!!!😎
