The hotel is very well located, amazing beach, nice pool, nice restaurant, good breakfast. The only bad experience I had was on the restaurant where I order a mango juice and the staff got very rude and start talking words in Thai that I think it was bad words, I called the manager and the manager have the same bad attitude, it will be a 5 stars review but unfortunately due to bad service I will said stay there but don’t expect good service

We were so impressed with this hotel. The location is perfect as it is situated at the one end of the beach away from the crowds. It has a beautiful pool area and the beach swimming area is stunning. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast spread in the morning is excellent. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful stay !

My wife and I were on holiday at the hotel. The hotel itself is very well located, there is a convenient exit to the sea and there are sun loungers. But there is always one person who comes out and throws things everywhere. One person can take 6-8 sun loungers at a time and then not show up for 2-3 hours. The air conditioning in the room did not work, but when it was fixed, it was simply impossible to set it and get it to a normal temperature. The room is either hot or freezing. The refrigerator is the same, sometimes it freezes, sometimes it doesn't. The door in the room also broke. Such a good hotel, but it is already falling apart.

Biggest complaint is the bathroom. It has floor to ceiling frosted windows in the shower and toilet which face the bed. One light switch for the shower, sink, and toilet. If someone gets up at night or napping to go in, the entire room lights up and wakes up the other person.
Only hotel in Thailand and Cambodia not to have conditioner. I travel with some but will use the hotels if I’m just getting into the ocean. No lotion either.
We did eat at the restaurant. Mediocre food. I do not recommend. We checked out after 1 night and booked accommodation nearby which was last minute and more expensive if we booked when we originally did for this hotel, but was way way better.
Pool was set up weird with squares in middle so you can’t really do laps or float much. And half is cut off for a kids area.
Beach is eroding and catches water and trash at the stairs. Also brings bugs.
Staff was very nice.

Had a fantastic stay at the Novotel Kamala Beach. I booked a room with the ocean view, which was a great decision. The navigation in the hotel is well organised, and overall is very comfortable. The only downside is the dishes for lunch/dinner, I would recommend going out for them and then come back for the drinks!

Our stay at Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach was absolutely magical! We stayed in a villa with the most breathtaking sea view and our own private rooftop pool—it was pure paradise.
The resort went above and beyond, arranging a beautiful afternoon tea and an unforgettable romantic dinner by the beach. The food was incredible—huge compliments to the chef and team for their delicious creations.
If you’re looking for a luxurious, romantic getaway in Phuket, away from the crowds, this is the place to be. Everything from the stunning villa to the amazing service and beachfront pool was perfect. Can’t recommend it enough!

Not recommended for young families or Snr travellers.
1.Bath / Shower combo. However bath is so high you have hang on to the towel rack to prevent slipping when exiting the shower.
2. Worst pillows I have ever experienced in more than 20 years of travel.
3. Hotel is located 6kms from Patong so the younger party types rtn between 2..5am in the morning. With no carpets in the hall walls and poor inter room sound proofing it results in a poor night's sleep.
Lucky we only booked for two nights but would not consider a return stay

Actually we booked this hotel for 3 nights in 2 different types of room... and suddenly the hotel decide to cancel our booking in one of our nights/room. It's a hassle for us to change hotel so we decided to ask for a refund from them and cancel all the nights that we've booked. Trip is such a livesaver and they able to make it happened. So thanks for the great service trip. But for novotel pls don't simply cancel the room that we've paid next time

Check in was easy and the resort was clean and the staff was nice! The food for breakfast and lunch was good! I liked the location on the beach because it was near a lot of things we had planned on the trip! I think the spa rooms could have been nicer though and the gym was so hot one day it felt like a sauna!
