Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort

The service is good, the breakfast is good, the bed is comfortable, but the air-conditioner in the room is very dirty and the ventilation system is very loud!

Novotel is a great choice for an out of town location. Breakfast can be improved ,beach area and water was great with lots of lounges around pool and grassed shaded areas at the beach.rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, hotel upgraded us to deluxe rooms oupon check in, there's a beauty of a restaurant across the road, very good food with cheap prices and lots of everyday items for sale,

The room is not sound proof, and there was a party going on until mid night. My kids can not sleep. They should have put our room towards other side despite knowing that they will host a party.

Also, internet connection is very slow.

This might be a perfect place for grandparents, located in the middle of nowhere, there are no activities, no entertainment, not even music. Was the most boring place I’ve ever been. Is very clean and the pools are nice, food is also delicious. The front desk wasn’t as nice and welcoming as other places we’ve been in Thailand, but that’s not a big issue.

Oh, also didn’t like the fact we had to pay 100baht for the laundry bag. First time in my life I wasn’t allowed to take the laundry bag. Incredible haha

Very nice holiday resort. Good breakfast. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Reseptions-, pool bar staff poorly trained, no 4.star standard, speak bad english. Price performance is not good too expensive! Otherwise everything is fine.

The availability of sunbeds is very limited. It is recommended to reserve one as early as 6:30 AM.

Very comfy and friendly hotel in rayong. Room rate was reasonable, love the happy hours by the pool. Dinner at the pool was superb - all dishes were yummy!! We will definitely come back ❤️.

We truly appreciate how your staff treated us, the care with which your room was prepared, and its cleanliness. The food was of superb quality with an authentic Thai taste. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of your beachfront, and we absolutely loved the 'massage bathtub.'

This hotel is one of are family retreat we’ve been coming back for many year. Why? Simply because it haa its own charm.
What stand out? The location, perfect if you like to unwind, love the low rise building plenty vegetation with diverse plant and a lot of big trees.
Right on the beach, feel very private. Especially the beach in front of the hotel isn’t crowded, depending on the time of the year you can get nice small waves or very quiet sea with the tides good height to play with kids before it get deep.
Friendly staff, many of them are working there for years, and will make you feel at home. Could make a long list of name but truly they all deserve to be named.
The room are lovely and clean, I love the sea tone decor since the refurbishment.
Breakfast has improved, and the restaurant serves delicious food, affordable since the new menu nd good portion. We tried the chicken breast and pork loin, those were my favorite, loved the sauce !

The have 2 great pools (+1 for the kids with a slide), one with jacuzzi and lots of bubble, this is really enjoyable to relax when use the jet massage.
If you want to explore there is the Ban phe village, a temple with a lot of wild monkeys close by and the island.

All in all great time spent with the family and we will be back.

*important note. I see some other review mentioning about bed bugs.
It’s not, it’s sandfly.
Not everyone is prone to this I guess it depend on your blood. It can happen when I stay still on the sand, it’s tiny flies and their bites are very itchy like mosquitoes but stronger and long lasting. My son and wife don’t get affected. So just be mindful of that.
