Boutique hotel located on peaceful Ao Prao beach. Beautiful houses on stilts, with thatched roofs stand in a picturesque part of the island, on the shore. It includes: volleyball, football, mountain Biking, Canoeing, sailing, Windsurfing, catamaran, scuba diving and fishing with a speed boat.

Location: 220 km from the airport in Bangkok, is a 1.5-hour drive from Pattaya, 40 minutes by ferry from the pier at Ban PHE in Rayong province, the Bay of AO Prao (Ao Prao beach).
Consists of a complex of cottages.
Beach: own sandy beach, 10 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas, sun beds – free of charge. The pool: umbrellas, chairs and beach towels – free of charge.

Ao Prao is the best location for snorkeling and enjoying peace and tranquility. So many things you can see for just a short swim from shore. Le Vimarn is great. It is a good mix of luxury and fun. “O” restaurant has great pizza. Their bar (previously called Buzz) is also great to enjoy some drinks on the beach. The best place for sunset!

One of the nicest hotels on Ko Samet. The company has a few all over the island, we didn’t visit all of them, but it is situated in a nice semi-secluded bay away from the town. We loved the separate bungalows, large, great beds, hardwood floors and huge bathrooms as well as perfect AC. Why no 5 stars then? Well the restaurant options leave a bit to be desired, not bad but not great either, and it is important because you are somewhat dependent on them because of the location. Still, I do recommend the hotel!

Beautiful location, but aside from the on-site restaurants which had wonderful people, all the hotel staff were quite unprofessional and rude with me. There were no smiles, only stern faces when I arrived. I thought I had arrived to Germany and not Thailand. They just handed me the key and didn't want to walk me to my room. When I specifically asked to be walked to my room, I was "told" to sit down and wait. Finally, I was walked 3/4 of the way to my room at which point they just pointed up the stairs and didn't open the door for me or check to make sure the room was okay. This was the most expensive room in the resort, by the way, 904. When I checked out to leave, it was the same treatment. The woman running the desk acted like she was right out of the Gestapo. No smiles. No "I hope you enjoyed your stay." I will not return.

One of the best holidays we have been on in Thailand.
We have lived in Thailand for 5 years and have travelled to a wide variety of islands with villas, cottages etc but the spa and cottages at Le Vimarn were the best. Simply outstanding.
The private beach (which is only a few hundred metres long) has beautiful views, the waves are lively but shallow enough. You can surf there as well if that takes your fancy (boards available for hire on the beach). The food is freshly made and is delicious. After being fortunate to have met the manager there, he informed us that they hired chefs from around Europe to help the chefs in Le Vimarn to specialise the European cuisine. This is evident in the morning English breakfast and the pain au chocolat.
Which brings us to the service. It is simply the best you will find. They treat you like royalty and go out of their way to help you.
On arrival to Ao Prao (the pier where you get the boat over to Samed) they met us beforehand (in a lounge that is stunning), took our luggage for us, ensured we were escorted every step of the way up until the hotel/cottage.
The room is stunning, with a hot tub outside. We stayed at the ocean view cottages. We arrived to red rose petals filling the bed and tub and took in all the beauty around.
Within your front beach walk, there are a few different hotels with pools and they all offer different cuisine, excellent cocktails, a gym. Everything. We we even treated to a fire show at their sister hotel 200 metres down the beach (in video).
Everything was exquisite. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so cared for and welcome. Can't wait to come back again.

This resort is truly amazing. Super friendly staff who really care about their guests. We have the premiere hillside room with an amazing sea view. Get their speedboat service, it will bring you to the island in 7 minutes. Breakfast was also good with enough options. Definitely would come back here.

Just arrived and this place is beautiful. I think the pics speak for themselves. Very friendly and professional staff greeted us on arrival. Easiest checkin that I've ever done. We sat down, enjoyed an ice-cold cloth and drink while the staff did all the work.

Mixed feelings, its hit and miss. This is an example of a hotel that tacks RESORT on the end of the name then claims to be 5 Star, but in reality, It doesnt quite measure up to the true standard of 5 star😕
Service has declined over here, for whatever the reason, covid, i dont know.
You got 20 people in the pool drinkin brews, but no staff to get you a beer. You walk over to the restaurant or bar and you find 7 staff with one table in the restaurant🤔.
They could make a lot more sales and improve customer satisfaction if they rectified that clamity. 140 a beer.
The rooms are alright. They only have 1 bed villas, max 2 people, 7-8k a night. One had a jacuzzi in it, old but im sure it worked. Add enough bubble bath and should be good.
The staff doesnt speak the best English either so the door is wide open for countless miscommunications and foul ups. Its hard to get your check and pay the bills. You gotta go track down a service staff, ask him for your bill, double check he hasnt forgotten it, check it, then correct the mistakes, wait while he finds out who needs see you for QR code or whatever, it goes on and on. And happens frequently enough that I am mentioning it here, just to give you a heads up❤️
The beach is a preet nice spot. Little horseshoe bay, pretty safe. They get a little bit of waves there, so thats fun. Sunset is good.
The pools small but good.
One other thing that puts me off with this place is that they want you to park your bike way up a hill before you enter the resort area. Its fine, i guess goin down to the place, but its not real cool coming back. Its a couple 2 of 3 hundred meters walk, so you gotta do that everytime you wanna run somewhere, and I dont believe they have a shuttle service to take you up, like most 5 star places would😏
But if you just stay at the hotel and dont leave its not a problem.
The restaurant is a whole nother story, check my review for that one😉👍
