Sai Kaew Beach Resort

First off let me say that this resort is absolutely phenomenal. It should be a 5 star resort.

The rooms were spacious (Deluxe) and super clean. The bed and pillows were perfect for my wife and I.

The staff were all so attentive and friendly. Everyone smiled and we felt very welcome here.

The food at Winkks Beach Club was brilliant. We had Thai and Western dishes to choose from. The cocktails were wonderful too. The location was next level. It overlooked Sai Kaew Beach. White sand, crystal clear blue waters and a nice sea breeze made this place very special to us.

Scoop Garden sold the best homemade ice cream. We were pleasantly surprised that such nice ice cream excited on such a small island.

Great location too. Very central to the main town area. I’ll definitely be back!

Great staff overall, very friendly and attentive! The hotel is very well organized, from the point of departure from the port until your last day everything was well taken care of. If you’re looking for an escape, come here!

Pépé from the mango cafe was great and Nong Care at Winks was a superstar through out our entire stay!

Came to stay here for my girlfriend’s birthday. I asked the hotel if they could do something nice, and they did an awesome job making our stay memorable. The property itself is lovely—right on the main beach, but with a private feel. All of the F&B outlets were great, with very nice beach snacks too. The hospitality was warm, with everyone smiling and greeting you. We stayed in the Premier Deluxe section, which was nice as it was close to the beach, with access to a beachside pool and a great view from the 2nd floor. We can’t wait to come back. A massive thank you to all of the staff for such a lovely two-day getaway. See you next time!

The best person here is Pepe at Mango! We love you Pepe! Thank you for helping us when we got a 24-hour bug. All other experiences and staff are amazing too! The facilities are great and the fire show is a must. I’d recommend coming around Christmas to get the most out of the island’s glory and experience magical sunsets and fairy lights in the trees. Wish you all the best and see you again soon!

Had a fabulous 3 night stay here. Everything was perfect. The room was super clean and nice, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious.

My only feedback was that the room we had (Deluxe Premier) could use a couch or seating area for at least a couple. The room was so large and felt minimal furniture was provided. Also, for the price, the TV could be a little bigger/newer. Our room had a partial ocean view, so no complaints.

The Deluxe Premier rooms are located close to the beach and restaurant, and some have partial ocean views. They are probably the best rooms to get. There are pool view suites that also look nice, but actually might have less privacy because they are all ground floor right at the pool. I didn’t look at the other cheaper rooms.

I think the price was well worth it… our rooms included round trip speed boat transfer too, which was really quick and effortless.

Rooms got 4 star cos of the super dim lights in the whole room. And the basin drainage system was not good, it took a long time to drain off the water. You definitely need to bring mosquito repellent!

5 stars for all the staffs working in the resort! Everyone was very friendly, consistently excellent service and Pao the trainee in the dinner restaurant, he is superb! After one time of our olive oil and chilli request, he remembers us to our liking without asking. Superb Pao!

Overall it is the best beach and best stay in Ko Samed! Highly recommended!

Don't miss the Fire Show at 7.30 pm at the Winkks Bar. Also, the live singer KRAMS is a rockstar & mustn't be missed. Biggest & best resort on the island. Bungalows & Prive Rooms available. We stayed at the big & spacious bungalow. 3 swimming pools inside the resort. Extremely big & beautiful beach. Rat snakes & lizards are a common site. Big & hearty breakfast. Live music artist KRAMS was awesome, looks & sings like Bruno Mars! Missing him already. Cocktails & the food at the hotel were awesome. Well curated cocktails are a must try, and so are the pizzas.

2024/01 in this time my Room is DELUXE COTTAGE,I am very like this hotel and visited here many time.
Hotel with beautiful beach and nature environment,Friendly staff ,breakfast is Deliciousness and variety.
walk to the supermarket in 5 minutes and not far from the pier. You can take a taxi to the hotel.
The beach is beautiful at night and has many restaurants and bars.

Booked here well in advance and booked the deluxe room, which was spacious and comfy. Superb pool just outside the door and plenty of storage space.

No bath in this option but big bathroom with rainshower.

Pool was generally empty most of the day but gets HOT both by and in the pool! There is a swim-up bar but you have to use the phone to order and it gets delivered to the pool area.

Beach is about a 3 minute walk and access is directly from the hotel. There are accessible beds with umbrellas or bean bags, also with umbrellas.

The sea is warm and inviting. Food is good but a little expensive, given the choices that are available along this popular beach. EVERY item you buy then has a 10% service charge added and tax so, the price you see is always plus 17% (so looks artificially lower on any menu.. in my opinion gratuity should be earned and not mandatory)

The staff were always courteous and there is a small stage area where there was a fire show every night (there are fire shows right along the beach in the evening).

The tide comes in at night and you can still walk along the beach to other bars and restaurants.

There was one security guard on the gate who was always friendly and smiling!

The reception circle (as you come down the drive) is shared with 2 other hotels (Diamond and 1 other).

I didn't like that anyone from anywhere can wander into the hotel area and basically use the pools or even the beach beds, without challenge.

This hotel was the only hotel I saw who attempted to clean the beach of rubbish every day. There were a lot of tourists who just discarded their waste without a thought!

Very good hotel all things considered. Rooms a little tired but very clean. Service was exceptional and the location on Saikaew beach is great. Free fire show every night and live music at the resorts beach club. Food at the beach club was also good with reasonable pricing. Combine all this with the fact it has its own comfortable modern pier facility and ferry to and from island make it a perfect short break hotel/ resort.
