What an amazing place! I just left the island and I was seriously the only foreigner there. I had the whole beach to myself! I’m here in July. The weather was ever changing which was exciting to watch. I got wet and burnt. The staff were exceptional. I really felt looked after by a team of very kind ladies who made vegan food for me each day. Absolute solitude. Stunning landscape. Paradise.

A nice resort on a very beautiful small bounty island. The cabinns / rooms are a good size. Food is very good and a really feel like living in the jungle. Super wildlife and and a coral reef just outside the beacharea.

Although we're not stayed in this resort, but the service of the staff very good, and welcome us visited their resort. The panoramic ocean and sunrise views with many islands on the horizon, relaxing and basking under the warm sun by the pool side with the best viewpoint.

This is the Thailand i like, easy calm and quiet. Price for the roms are low and the room are ok. The restaurant is really good as long you eat Thai food. The only downside is the beach, there is to much dirt on in and you must walk down the beach to get some nice sand and no dirt.

This hotel is a little bit special. From the bottom of the hotel at sea level and to the top floor pool level, it's 213 stairs. Excellent location, had a very comfortable beach front cottage. Staff very friendly, breakfast was good. We tended to eat out at the other beachfront restaurants nearby for dinner (lots of good options). Transfers and transport were efficient. Very relaxing.

It's the only resort on this part of the beach so it's very quiet. There is a hiking trail to get to the other part of the island. One of the best place I visited in Thailand. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no WiFi in the rooms but there is mobile data with DTAC but not with AIS. I highly recommend this resort.

Pricey drinks and food, amazing location. The island isn't very crowded and not touristy. White sand beach, crystal clear water. The sand is a bit tough, but the coral in the water houses some cool fish and sea urchins. The beach is super calm and dotted with almond trees to sit in the shade. Mayalay Beach Resort is ideally located on the sandy white southern end of Koh Ngai just footsteps from one of the most picturesque beaches imaginable. We had the family bungalow with our two teenage boys. Big enough for us, nicely decorated and a great terrace (even if ours didn’t have those cool bamboo loungers, like the smaller Bungalows have). Very attentive and helpful staff, truly service minded. Resort is mainly booked by couples in their thirties, who occupy their sun loungers early before breakfast, which actually is extremely unnecessary...

This place is perfect for chill slow relaxing days away from crowds. We loved the vibe - bushy bungalows (clean and good standard) close to the jungle, very green and bamboo style with countless coconut accents. Little disadvantage: I dob’t understand why they charge extra for renting snorkling mask and fins, plus restaurant food is a bit pricy but still 5 well deserved stars.

Fantastic little place to eat at. We didn't stay in the camp but rather ate at the restaurant. The food is good and staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable. You can either sit under cover with your feet in the sand or you can sit further in. The fish panang and Larb moo was lovely. All my stars goes to clean beautiful big pool. Food is not so good, but eat next place in Beach (DADA) restaurant what is better. Pool side bungalows are near pool. Big villas are the other side of reception. Do not look much luxury in this hotel and in all Koh Mook island.

Rooms were clean and nice, but the surroudings outside were a bit stinking and had a lot of mosquitoes.There was no food, and the resort is at a remote location , so you need to take the motorcycle taxi to reach the place where you can find restaurants.

If you decide to stay here you must realise that it will be an experience . The bungalow isn't fully sealed so you may have visitors in the forms of scorpions, hornets, cockroaches, and cats in your bungalow. Thankfully we didn't have any snakes! A very quiet, rural stay...make sure you bring mosquito spray! We met some wonderful people during our stay and it really felt like we were visiting family...

Fantastic stay on a beautiful island, with the best hosts, who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They also provided us with some of the best meals we had on our trip. Nature Hill has a superb location just a few minutes walk from the best beach on the island. Highly recommended.

Wan is a great host! She helped us out with everything we needed. We had a fan bungalow with moskito nets outside the windows and door. 10 minutes walk to Charlie beach. You can rent a scooter from Mookies to visit the "city centre". All very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

We stayed in one of their fan bungalows with only cold water but at 800 baht / night incl. breakfast in high season we thought it was a fair price. Good location only a few hundred meters from Charley beach and very kind staff. We would go back if we return to Koh Muk.

Lovely family running the resort. They’re willing to make extra efforts for guests and do motorcycle shuttle to the beach. Their breakfast portion is generous and you will be very full. We extended our stay and recommend it highly.

Good bed, clean and nice surroundings. 10 minute walk to the best beach, Charlie's. Refrigerator is great if staying long time and 2 bottles of water each day. The owner speaks very little English but she is a fun lady. For further transport she also gives real prices and a discount for staying there. We were turned down from by our taxi from airport, Kritt organized sending car pick up right away in short notice. We arrived by late evening, really felt so comfy the first minute arriving at Mook Montra.  Everything was just purely great !! Really loves this place, loves Koh Mook !!

We loved our stay at Mook Montra. The bungalows are very nice and clean, hot water and air con always available and the terace hammock is perfect for reading and relaxing. Also, hot water, tea and coffee at reception. Kritt is a great host, helpfull and nice. The proximity to the city center and the pier is also a plus. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Montra Resort. The bungalow was lovely and bathrooms are very spacious. The hammocks outside were a perfect way to unwind in a beautiful setting. We were able to rent a scooter across the road from the hotel, and good luck restaurant had delicious pancakes for breakfast if it's not included in your stay. Would definitely stay again.

Really love this place. I was planning to stay in Koh Mook only 3 nights and then to Lipe. However this place/ Mook Montra has really touched our hearts, the helps of staffs, the generosity of the owner, cleanliness; I really felt comfortably warm within resort; I kept on extending our stays. We had an amazing stay at Mook Montra in Ko Muk. Kritt messaged us on WhatsApp the day we were arriving to see if we needed any help with anything and they helped us organising a longtail from the jetty on the mainland to the island for 600THB. Coco Lodge bamboo huts are a great experience! A fantastic and very well planned design of the huts and very practical. Nice and welcoming service. The only downside is an open air club nearby that plays very loud music late into.the night so you may have difficulties sleeping depending on your sensitivity and the location of the particular hut. On one of the nights a drove over to the club to ask...

One of the best accommodation what we had in Thailand. Unfortunately it’s not on the beach but it’s only 300m walk around the see. They have also the bar nearby the see and with probably only one really coffee on the island. 😁 They organize trips for snorkeling and it was the best trip in Thailand. NO tourist trap.

Good clean value for money bamboo huts in good situation. Ten minutes stroll to swimming beach and close to village which has lots of facilities, services and local restaurants. Don't miss the lovely beachside bar in front of Coco Lodge made of old boats and driftwood run by lovely people.

The Perfect Place Honestly, I didn't expect Coco Lodge to be so... perfect. The owners are truly amazing. I was sad to leave. The bamboo huts are just picture perfect and so comfy. I loved sitting on the balcony at night and just taking it all in. This is the kind of place you never want to leave. I'm already planning my trip back to Koh Mook and Coco Lodge.

Great location and comfort considering it‘s a tent. But what really makes it 10/10 is the engagement of the owner who genuinely wants you to have a great time on the island and is so happy to help with everything you want to do, going as far as helping you to get to your next destination.

Stayed here a while back. One of the loveliest hosts I've come across, went right out of his way to show me around the Island! Genuine person. Koh Mook is a lovely little island as well, not too touristy. Worth a visit. Tents are good and are sealed to prevent mosquitoes getting in. A wonderful stay here, on a very pleasant island and with a great host. He dedicates his time to his guests between transport (from one end of the island to the other), activities (sunset, kayaking and a good lesson in billiards) and meals (barbecued fish with rice). If I enjoyed my trip to Ko Mook it was entirely because of P' Yai. First of all, P' Yai's accommodation, though simple, is comfortable and cosy, with a beautiful garden where you can relax, and hear the birds singing. We had a great stay at cashew nut villas in one of the tents. The beds are proper mattresses and very comfortable. My boyfriend and I booked the trip to Emerald Cave and Koh Kradan with Mr. Yong when we were in Koh Mook and we both enjoyed it very much. Mr. Yong is a friendly person, he knows English quite well and has a good taste of humor. We felt safe and accommodated during the trip. It came in a very good price too.

Not a five star class homestay but owner is very helpful and friendly. Keep inform and bring us to pier once dugong appear. Happy with Mr Yong service. They also provide island hopping and private boat service from main land pier.

Very nice place to stay while in Koh Muk! Its located right next to the pier. The bungalows have cold air conditioning and are very clean and comfortable. Great service here too. They can help book your ferry and transportation. They also book tours to Emerald Cave for a very good price. There is a short walking path to white sand beaches. We saw many adorable hermit crabs on the beach!

great budget bungalows! good value (we paid 1000 thb/night incl ac in march 2020), perfect location (close to bars & restaurants, 10 min walk to sivalai beach). the room was clean and had all you need - ac, fan, fridge, big bathroom with hot water, free coffee, wifi etc.. and there was a pretty garden & friendly staff! looks a lot better than in their own pictures!

This is the second hotel I've been to in ko mook and it's by far, better than the other one. Very nice, bright and clean bungalows facing the garden. We wished we stayed there longer. Very polite owners, they arranged the boat and the transportation to the pier for us. Highly recommended

Beautiful setting, on a beautiful island. Staff are friendly and helpful. Seaview bungalows have a lovely view. Convenient location. It’s clear this resort was hit hard by Covid. Rooms/food are in need of a little update. However if you are ok with a more rustic vibe, you can have a very relaxing, beautiful stay close to lots of bars and restaurants. Pool is stunning. I would stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Pawapi. The hotel itself is fantastic with all of the amenities kept in top condition. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. If you are venturing to Koh Mook this is definitely the best resort to stay at.
