Best Sea View ever at Thanya Beach Resort,Koh Ngai

For good snorkeling walk through the jungle to the other side or take a boat to ko kradan. If you take the boat, ask them for a detour to the emerald cave, no snorkeling there but a must see

Excellent location, had a very comfortable beach front cottage. Staff very friendly, breakfast was good. We tended to eat out at the other beachfront restaurants nearby for dinner (lots of good options). Transfers and transport were efficient. Very relaxing.

The best resort on Ngai Island. A calm and quiet place. The staff is extremely kind and the restaurant is good. A couple of drinks at Happy Hour and enjoy the barbeque with fish from near by waters.

I enjoyed staying here with a lot of space and the garden. The reception was really friendly and gave us a good suggestion. But the two stars is missing due to the restaurant stuff aren't good service mind at all. Nice hotel 5/5 Restaurant 2/5

A nice resort on a very beautiful small bounty island. The cabinns / rooms are a good size. Food is very good and a really feel like living in the jungle. Super wildlife and and a coral reef just outside the beacharea.

Nice resort right at the beach🏝️ staff is very friendly and helpful😊 there is also a pool, but you really wanna enjoy the sea and go snorkling, some interesting fish to see🐠🤿 Room was okay, some problems with the mosquito net, but overall good.

I can’t even put into words how amazing our stay was at Thanya Beach Resort. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. The food was out of this world and they actually listened when we said we like our food spicy 😁 Make sure you try the pancakes at breakfast, they were so yummy! This is the Thailand i like, easy calm and quiet. Price for the roms are low and the room are ok. The restaurant is really good as long you eat Thai food. The only downside is the beach, there is to much dirt on in and you must walk down the beach to get some nice sand and no dirt.

Away from the hussle amd bussle. Nice hotel with staff that attend to every need. Lots of steps to climb but a golf cart is available for those who need.

I have visited this place several times. It's worn out during the years but I was told that they will renovate everything this spring. Anyway to me going there feels like coming home. I just love this tiny island and the breathtaking views they have. I love the natural feeling in this place, being surrounded by nature and waking up to the sounds of waves and birds. So very relaxing.

We had the family bungalow with our two teenage boys. Big enough for us, nicely decorated and a great terrace (even if ours didn’t have those cool bamboo loungers, like the smaller Bungalows have). Very attentive and helpful staff, truly service minded. Resort is mainly booked by couples in their thirties, who occupy their sun loungers early before breakfast, which actually is extremely unnecessary...

This place is perfect for chill slow relaxing days away from crowds. We loved the vibe - bushy bungalows (clean and good standard) close to the jungle, very green and bamboo style with countless coconut accents. Little disadvantage: I dob’t understand why they charge extra for renting snorkling mask and fins, plus restaurant food is a bit pricy but still 5 well deserved stars.

We had an amazing stay at Coco Cottage. Relaxing and eco-friendly resort with an incredible pool directly located next to the beach. Staff was super friendly and made our stay just perfect. Food and drinks were really good. We can fully recommend Coco for your stay at Kho Ngai

We had a great stay! Everything is back to normal after Covid: Clean and nicely styled bungalows, pool to relax in, live-music events, solid breakfast buffet and really good Thai-Food!

What an amazing place! I just left the island and I was seriously the only foreigner there. I had the whole beach to myself! I’m here in July. The weather was ever changing which was exciting to watch. I got wet and burnt. The staff were exceptional. I really felt looked after by a team of very kind ladies who made vegan food for me each day. Absolute solitude. Stunning landscape. Paradise.

I stayed both Thanya next door and this one. This one is inferior in nearly all aspect. Tap water is salty. Amateur service. Pool has no beach view. Construction going on with annoying noise. One restaurant waiter keep asking if we feel the food is delicious. I really do not want to write bad reviews considering the hard-working staff. But probably they need a better management.

It's the only resort on this part of the beach so it's very quiet. There is a hiking trail to get to the other part of the island. One of the best place I visited in Thailand. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no WiFi in the rooms but there is mobile data with DTAC but not with AIS. I highly recommend this resort.

Also, you can cross the island through the jungle with a bit of hacking, to the other side of the island where is few restaurants and very small mini market.

Pricey drinks and food, amazing location. The island isn't very crowded and not touristy. White sand beach, crystal clear water. The sand is a bit tough, but the coral in the water houses some cool fish and sea urchins. The beach is super calm and dotted with almond trees to sit in the shade. Mayalay Beach Resort is ideally located on the sandy white southern end of Koh Ngai just footsteps from one of the most picturesque beaches imaginable. the location is incredible, our tent was 5m away from the water. The tent was great with a nice balcony and the owner helped us a lot when our boat didn’t show up. highly recommend this place. It’s basic but still very comfortable for a camping.

Fantastic little place to eat at. We didn't stay in the camp but rather ate at the restaurant. The food is good and staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable. You can either sit under cover with your feet in the sand or you can sit further in. The fish panang and Larb moo was lovely. Beers are cold and there's a huge selection of drinks for such a remote little place. Enjoy

Food and drink are awesome! And way cheaper than our resort! Walked here every night to eat and drink! Definitely recommend! Piña colada no sugar was great, green curry was pretty good, enjoyed the chicken satay.
