Aqua Resort SHA Plus

We had to pay for a used towel… we cleaned our hand after we ate mango and the hotel said they can not clean it.. like what? They did not put in the wash machine, just put some water on it and said they can not clean it. Where have you seen to pay because you use a towel? After we paid, they wanted to keep it to clean and reuse (after payment they could clean it :)) I took them and put in the garbage because I do not find it fair to give to other clients a towel that they said it can not be clean. The breakfast was not what we expected… we ate 4 mornings the same food (eggs, ham, a slice of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and bacon. In the pictures we saw a buffet but now we got a menu with the same food. The location has a small parking, just for 4 cars. The room was nice but everyday we had mosquitos everyday inside.

While I had hoped for a pleasant stay based on the hotel's promising description and pictures, my experience echoed the concerns highlighted in prior reviews. From the onset, an unpleasant odor permeated our room. Despite efforts to address the issue, the persistent smell, likely emanating from the AC, returned within a day, diminishing our comfort significantly.

The hotel's restaurant, another aspect I looked forward to, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. The breakfast offered was underwhelming, reminiscent of something one might hastily pick up from the convenience store across the street rather than a meal at a reputable establishment.

Furthermore, contrary to what one might expect from its presentation, the hotel lacks direct beach access. The necessity of renting a scooter to explore the vicinity was a considerable inconvenience, compounded by the daunting traffic conditions in Phuket, which I found to be both challenging and unsafe.

It became increasingly clear that this establishment does not fit the mold of a resort but rather a budget hotel. This realization was further solidified by the behavior of fellow guests, whose lack of courtesy often disrupted the peace, particularly at night with ongoing parties downstairs that made it difficult to find rest.

In summary, while the hotel may suit those on a tight budget and with minimal expectations, those seeking a tranquil and comfortable retreat might find it lacking. The combination of the unwelcoming odor, disappointing dining options, lack of beach access, and the overall atmosphere driven by the behavior of other guests leaves much to be desired.
