really good atmosphere Suitable for escaping the chaos to relax, herbs and organic food directly from the garden. I like it very much.
This place was a bit strange and quirky, with unpainted concrete walls in the rooms, all in an apparently slightly unkempt garden, but the staff were truly lovely and in the end we rather enjoyed ourselves!

Our stay at the resort was very pleasant. We loved this traditional Thai house and all the greenery around it.
Marcel, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, full of advice on where to go and what to do around Chiang Mai. Also, the staff is very lovely and kind. Teak Resort is located in a very calm area where you can cycle at your leisure through the surrounding villages. Wish we can visit you soon...
Marcel is the consummate host in his fabulous resort. We felt thoroughly looked after and part of the family during our five day stay at the Golden Teak. The place is beautifully presented and kept with character oozing from the rooms. We really enjoyed the pool and the attention of the dogs and cats. We had excellent breakfasts every day and had a couple of wonderful evening meals too. Marcel took...
A paradisiacal place and the perfect starting point to explore Chiang Mai and its surroundings. Great Guesthouse with a perfect pool.
if you want to experience the real Thai life while visiting Chang Mai you should stay in this amazing guesthouse. Bonus: swimming pool!
If you like good old courteous traditional treatment, in a comfortable real teak Thai house (with a swimming pool!!) Then this is the place for you - you'll want to stay forever, it's so relaxing. Prices are good and they have one of the BEST Thai cooking school in Thailand. And the owner personally takes fully accompanied professional tours to Cambodia Loa and Vietnam. You'll find yourself going...
Lovely couple. We were here for a Thai cooking class. Very accommodating and informative. Beautiful garden. Will be back next time for a homestay.

Clean, usable room, pity that the check-in is closed a little early, good service, but the road is under construction, making it difficult to travel.
good atmosphere hotel Next to the super highway, convenient to travel There is an airport shuttle service.
The owner takes care of you in a friendly way.

This place is a 200 / 100. The owner's hospitality is perfect. Cozy room, hot shower, very clean, the food was great, big breakfast, homemade bread was excellent! The area itself is huge! great to walk around in the neighborhood. One night I was hungry looking for food, asking for something easy and ended up with having yummy homemade burger. Fully recommend this place for your stay!
Clean rooms and great hosts. The owner makes the best homemade bread for breakfast too!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners and workers were very accommodating
Saku and Danny are great hosts.Lunch ,dinner and breakfast was most enjoyable.Enjoyed a swim and very peaceful ensuring a good nights sleep. Will be back

The family can stay 3-4 rounds. The room is not expensive, not narrow, the bed is good, sleeps well, welcomes dogs. The entrance is a bit mysterious, but it's safe. Close to the city, traffic jams a bit. Sanok Kamphaeng Road is a bit narrow, near the market, a lot of attractions There is a delicious grilled pork (same owner), the owner is friendly but not quite free to answer, wondering if he is busy...

Just came for the first time, but it's considered usable, quiet, the price is competitive, it's probably ok with the current economic situation.
Clean rooms, affordable prices, safe, have rice topped with curry, delicious restaurants around there as well.

It's not a homestay anymore.
as far as I've seen I see that there are only fruit shops at the front entrance and on the side selling crispy pork rice.
The dusty carpet on the floor should be a lot because it is allergic to loud hives from the karaoke on the opposite side, but after midnight it's ok. The room is large and soft, overall it is considered good and suitable for the price.

Very nice owner and hotel! They became friends forever. Showed me around and had best new years eve there. Ride to the airport also and sight seeing!! Perfect!!
Quaint and vintage style. Rooms are spacious with a refrigerator and heated shower.
It lacks kettle or water heater for coffee or tea.
The location is awkward, but nice and quiet.
It would be a great place for photography.
Monthly rent is available but you must stay for 3 months in order to get your deposit back. This is NOT stated up front.
I have stayed in many different hotels/ hostels/ villas in Chiang Mai area, and this one is BY FAR THE BEST one. If you like to explore but prefer to stay in a safe, clean, and affordable place, this is the best you will find in the area. It is just off the main road yet away from the traffic and the noise. The staff is VERY friendly, and the owner Sandy genuinely cares very much about the guests and...
The most awesome place to stay in Sankampaeng. Sandy the owner is so kind and accommodating! She is always willing to help in any way that she can. When I had an injury she took me to the hospital several times and stayed with me and translated when needed. She really goes out of her way to make sure that you have the best stay. The rooms and pool are clean, food is delicious and price is good. Highly...
Really nice place to eat with a relaxed feel to it. Have a sip of cold coffee right by the cool residence pool and have a delicious coconut milk fruit shake! Quality food and accommodating service. I love going here. They have a few good vegan options such as the spaghetti with either tomato sauce or mushrooms and morning glory. The coffee is also quite good here.

Extremely quiet location off the beaten track. Coffee quite strong but very inexpensive. Outdoor seating by the rice fields very relaxing.
Very peaceful. Wonderful place to go when it’s the cold season. Food portions, tastes and quality are reasonable. The service people are kind and helpful. We need to be more patient as service pace is slower due to dining locations.
Beautiful place, wonderful people, food is pretty good and affordable!
Would be a plus point if there were more English speaking assistance or English menus as well :)
The cafe is mildly toy-themed which gives it a warm and welcoming feel to it.
Having a meal or coffee break whilst gazing at the rice fields during sunset is one beautiful view you shouldn't miss out if you can!
Wonderful place surrounded by rice fields. Quiet and peaceful, food is good and not expensive. Great place to relax but not too far from the city
Opened Nov 2016, this quiet home stay with bistro overlooking padi field is a pleasant discovery. Run by helpful and friendly English speaking young thai lady, the bistro serves organic rice harvested from surrounding padi fields. Beautiful place.

The best resort we've been in! The family that owns the place is so nice, they take care of everything you need and more. The resort name is definitely fitting, it is so beautiful and relaxing.
The food is delicious and learning to cook with Pai was so fun.
Each room is it's own house and the privacy and the ambiance is amazing.
We had a most memorable stay. Anyone going to Thailand should go here. All the comments are so true. They arranged several trips from there for us at very reasonable rates. We especially loved the day trip to an elephant sanctuary where we fed, bathed, observed and enjoyed the intelligent, good massive and loveable
creatures. I believe the sanctuary was created by an American...Be sure
The most beautiful and relaxing surroundings you could want. The kind and helpful staff make Secret Garden the best place to stay in Chiang Mai.
Wonderfully relaxed and green hideaway!
Just 20 min outside Ciang Mai City center, get away from the hustle, traffic and noise and spend a couple of days amidst green bushes, under shady trees surrounded by colourful flowers. People are tremendously friendly and the food is so Y U M M Y. Jump into the pool or play a round of pool. I would like to highly recommend this place!
Great place to get away and relax. The hosts were amazingly kind and went out of their way to make our vacation extra special. Great for families or groups with many different housing options. Highly recommend.

A gem out of Chiang Mai. Love this resort. Warmly welcomed, very quiet, i could stay sit on the terrasse in front of our room all the day. So if you have a scooter or a car do not hesitate to go a bit out of the center of Chiang Mai.
Wonderful place out of the city. The people are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first class.
A true gem off the beaten track. We will certainly stay here again next time we come to Thailand.
A 5* review for a 5* stay. Around 20/30 mins away from the city centre we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For most of the time we were the only ones there. Extremely clean and beautiful throughout
very beautiful place the swimming pool are wonderful the manager and staff are very nice! i love here so much!!!
Fantastic hotel for a relaxing escape near Chiang Mai... the rooms, the facilities, the ambience and the swimming pool are outstanding! Special mention to the service: the owners and the staff at Puka Boutique Resort were extremely kind, efficient and helpful and made our experience unique! 100% recommended!!!
Beautiful hotel in such a remarkable view. Best for someone who's looking for a quiet retreat. Totally recommended.

Definitely deserving of the 4.7 rating it currently has. I came here as a solo traveler - not much of a city person so when I got off the plane the first thing I did was rent a bike and come here before heading through the mountains. Wow. Wow wow. To my surprise the room is a villa, so spacious, so clean and so relaxing. I could even drive my bike right up to the villa. I am looking forward to coming...
Fantastic place if you're looking for peace and quiet. Nice pool the rooms are really clean and any problems are fixed straight away. Nice personal.super super set up for handicapped or the elderly and families.not one stair same for the pool. 45 mins from Chiang Mai and well worth it just for the weekend.hot springs are close.
Although I did not stay here I did look round it looks fantastic nice grounds well maintained and staff friendly and eager to help even though I was just visiting , the chalets looked very well kept and if I was arriving for a holiday I would not have been disappointed by the venue like I said I did not stay here but just on its presentation I would recommend you to give it a try.
nice place if your looking for a retirement place. the only point is, that is quite 45 minutes away from town....

Stop at this place to have an afternoon coffee. Great coffee but no cakes on sale. Worth while just to stop and enjoy the atmosphere both inside and outside
A taste of Thailand , very quiet laid back resort set in beautiful location. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle it's the ideal place to unwind.
