I stayed at Varivana Hotel for three nights after my original booking at Bluerama had to be changed due to renovations. I discovered this hotel by chance — and honestly, it turned out to be a much better choice. I paid a bit more than planned, but absolutely no regrets. Sometimes, spending a little extra really pays off — and this was definitely one of those cases.
The hotel is clean, modern, peaceful, and offers a touch of luxury that feels just right in the middle of this otherwise energetic island. If you’re looking to take a break from the chaos and treat yourself to a few comfortable, quiet days — this is the place.
The staff is super friendly, chill, and helpful. Service and reception were truly excellent. Highly recommended!

Such an amazing unique place. The facilities are amazing. One of the best of not best pools I've ever used. The views are amazing, we watched the sunset here every night of our stay. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to any requests. We tried just about the whole menu of food and it is all delicious. Would recommend this resort to anyone!

It was an amazing stay at Varivana Resort, a particular highlight was definitely the team, which was super friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. But we also enjoyed the pool as well as the room. We were missing a few places to hang our clothes in the room, but otherwise everything was great.

Hotel was very nice
We enjoyed the most from the expectational service we received especially from Facs from the reception.
Felt like the stuff were doing the above and beyond for us.
Hotel infinity pool was beautiful however pretty small and no much shade.
Also the pool closed at 7pm we could enjoy from a night swim.
Breakfast very good and diverse
Rooms were modern and clean.
Amazing view.
Taxi to town are very expensive.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in. We loved the location, the views, the design of the hotel, the room, the pool...everything. The pool is actually one of the best pools we've used in all Thailand. We stayed in a sky view room and was happy with it.
We rented a bike from the hotel which is 350 bath, around 100 bath more than other places on the island but it's more easy. Please note though that the bike has no insurance so if you damage it you pay for it.
The drinks we ordered from the bar were always very nice, the staff were great, room cleaned every day. I would stay here again.
My only negative would be that there could be some more vegan options for breakfast. It's quite limited if you don't eat meat/diary.

This hotel is so underrated. It should have received 5/5 for its rating. It is better than other luxury 5 star hotels I've ever been to. I stayed there for 3 nights on 10-13 Dec 2020 and they treated me like their relatives. They really were helpful and best at service during my stay. They have a free pick-up and send off at the pier which was very convenient. The hotel is well designed, new, clean and peaceful. It also has stunning view especially the rooftop bar and swimming pool. I'm sure it is one of the best hotel on Koh Phangan. I will definitely recommend this and come back staying asap!

The rooms are so small at the prices offered! High prices for a hostel designed room that doesn't even include breakfast. 😑

It started well with the pick up from the pier, but as soon as we arrived to the reception for check-in we were welcomed with a rude and arrogant front desk. I have stayed in many 3,4,5 stars hotels and never experienced this kind of terrible service before.
Check in took very long time to process our rooms, despite hotel being empty, so our friends asked for their keys so they can go freshen up in the room meanwhile. After 5mins inside the room, they received a threatening call from front desk saying that they need to go back to the front desk immediately to pay the bill, else they will cut the electricity of the room and make the cards not working.
Throughout the whole stay, the front desk had a very rude attitude towards us and our friends and we didn't feel welcomed at all.
It's pretty sad to see a nice resort like this destroying the experience for the guests with such a bad service. The stay was not pleasant at all and I would never come back here.

Definitely come back here again!
I went to this hotel with my family and it was absolutely clean and beautiful expecially the pool with moutain and sea view. Recommend going to see sunrise or sunset at the swimming pool. Also, the staff were very helpful. My family and I had very enjoyable stay at the hotel.

Modern loft hotel, excellent service. The room is clean, Beautiful forest view from the porch ,can see a ocean view from the distance . The bed was so comfy ,I totally get a good sleep. Stunning view from the infinity swimming pool during sunset.
Breakfast was full of nutrition,There were more than five Colors of veggies on my plate,the hotel manager said most of the ingredients are from the local and organic, some are homemade.I kinda love how detail the hotel was.
Another favorite thing is The coconut milk phad thai was so delicious, I recommend it if u have a chance to stay here.
