This is a very grand looking hotel with friendly staff and a golf buggy to take you to your room.
The swimming pool is outside of the hotel and down the road so this was out of the way if you’re not dressed properly. There isn’t anywhere to get a drink or food at the pool and no seats. It also wasn’t the cleanest.
The restaurant/cafe opens at 9:30am and closes at 9pm so quite early. It’s also quite expensive compared to most other places in the area.
Good location for the floating market and right on the river but not a hotel to spend a long time as not much tjere.

There's a luxurious feel in many sections, but the rooms and the immediate environment suffer from a lack of renovation and care, leaving them quite aged and deteriorated. Despite this, the decorated environment offers a variety of appealing features.

Is like staying in a traditional house that is well furnished . Makes me feel like I am stepping back in time to an era I never lived in before and only saw it through dramas and movies . Very interesting

It was a fantastic weekend stay in Amphawa.
I came across this hotel during our past visit to Amphawa.
This time, I booked rooms for a weekend visit with friends.
It is a unique property located right on the river. Rooms were pretty good. There is a museum on the property and a Hindu temple.
Restaurant and Cafe are also pretty good.
Breakfast spread had lots of options, and we enjoyed our morning fill.

Great location for the Amphawa market but nothing else going on round here really. We got taxis to the train market and floating markets elsewhere too.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The rooms were a great size and immaculate.
You have to get a golf buggy initially to the rooms but you can walk there.
The pool was so disappointing. It wasn’t clean and just off the main road so seperate to the hotel complex. It had nothing there no towels or a bar and just 2 chairs.
The restaurant closes early and opens later and is very pricey.

The building is very grand and rooms are dated.
Shower has hot water.
Limited WiFi in rooms.
The bar is expensive.
The pool is not very clean and not really suitable for large groups and has no seating (seats available are for pool rooms).
There is a free go kart shuttle around the complex.

Didn't stay in the hotel but we visited the cafe and the museum. The owner has put a lot of effort into decorating and furnishing the hotel. Lots of special artifacts. There is also a special Hinduism corners that showcase the owners' pride of multi-million dollar worth of collections.
The in-door museum bring us back to the 70s and 80s. It is free of charge. Very nice of them.
