Perfect for a relaxing holiday for families with children. Near the beach there is a lovely kids club. Another plus of the hotel is a good location in the touristic zone of Sousse.

Exceptional experience at this hotel! The staff, waiters, the beach, security, everything was truly amazing.
Never had issues finding a spot at the table to eat, never had issues finding a spot on the beach, good location close to the city, easy to get around. Lovely people of Tunisia, we had a great time at Occidental.

This hotel has everything for a great stay. Everything was OK, except the housekeeping. Our room was not entirely tided up for the entire stay, they never changed the sheets or cleaned the furniture. The last day the room was not cleaned at all and we even did not have towels. This is not acceptable for a 4star hotel.

Rubbish dinner on the first night brought to our room. (we arrived after restaurant was closed)
No bed for my 6 year old son, even tho he was booked in. They sorted out after we complained.
Phone from our room was not working.
Restaurant food bad quality (really bad) and drinks even worse.
Really small glasses for drinks.
Not available plates for dinner when Restaurant gets busy.
Bar for drinks at pool and beach open one hour later than what they schedule.
No toboggan available even though it was advertised.
If you decide to go to the beach, you will find lots of people trying hard to sell you lots of different things.
Really loud music by the pool all day long until late. At least 11pm. If you decide to go to bed nice and early, you will be in trouble due the music.
Nice hotel, old fashion stile. Always clean, but a bit of love was needed.
Before my arrival, i sent a number of emails regarding my booking and they never replyed.
I do not recommend this hotel at all.

in terms of hotel rank and price ratio, the whole experience deserves 5 stars. The reception and management are professional, the rooms are decently clean and large, the hotel requires a little better maintenance, the food is excellent and there is a large selection of dishes, the waiters are friendly but some are less expeditious, but the expediency of some of the staff increases with the tip (breakfast is from 7 a.m. and the problem is for early risers who want to drink coffee, e.g. around 6 a.m.), the pool and the area around the pool is clean and there is a lifeguard who is helpful, the pool with slides has a lifeguard who does not pay attention to safety during the descent (be sure to be careful when you descend and watch out for their children when they go down because the guard doesn't do it), the animators are fun and are constantly present around the pool and sometimes around the stage to make the stay more interesting. all in all, the overall atmosphere is great (I repeat in the range in which the hotel is located) and you get what you paid for. and yes, the sea is shallow and there are jellyfish, so you should be careful with small children.

I had a lovely stay, you really get your monies worth here. Tea and coffee on the all inclusive is not that nice, however you can pay for nicer drinks which are good. Food is 5/5, chefs with a lot of experience. Personally I did not enjoy the animation, they play loud music by the pool side all day which was annoying, however the beach is also just right there and it is quiet and peaceful there. Overall, was a great hotel if you have children, as there are plenty of activities for families, food is fantastic and some of the staff are really nice, however I can see they are understaffed and at times staff struggle to meet demands.

Walid is the best one to take care of us in this wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of the residents. I do advise this resort to everybody who is willing to have a great time and refresh.

The hotel does not deserve the stars. The territory is large, but the beauty bordered with a string, and mud. There are shops on site. The food is good, but absolutely can not cope with the influx of guests, never have enough utensils, plates, food... On the beach is the same situation have to work as a loader and carry your own chairs. Many street vendors on the beach. Located on the right banana, cheesecake, watercraft, etc. the Animation is there, but weak. Territory dirty, the staff is very angry if you do not raise, ideally need to know French or Arabic. With less English. Questioned something unreal, the drinks are not alcoholic just awful, water only in the cooler more or less.

The hotel during the stay the room never washed the floor in 10 days, sometimes take towels to replace and wouldn't until I reach out to staff. A Hairdryer and an iron bail. Air conditioning and fridge was not working, calls to reception were told that the refrigerator will be repaired, about the air told that the entire hotel is off due to repair something, then it turned out that the neighbors all worked and miraculously a room the day before departure it started working. The refrigerator was never repaired. When applying for a room change told 20$. Territory: large enough of several buildings of the hotel are 2 pools, a bar at each pool. Beach: enough clean white sand, but if you like to sleep some hours in the 11 beds available can not find. There's also a bar on the beach. About the bars: only 4 bars, 2 at each pool, at reception and on the beach. Diluted alcohol everywhere. If you want any cocktail off the menu bar, pay 7 dinars for a glass. There is a possibility to buy a bottle of alcohol on the bar when no superiors they are bartenders themselves offer. For the money, that's the deal. Animators: There is archery, activities for children, Darts, table tennis, beach morning aerobics in pool water Polo. You can take almost the whole day. The evening animation for children 1 hour after for adults the same hour. Disco from 23.00 to 00.00 on the street after indoors from 00.00 to 02.00. Music local dance and Russian also has a bar at the disco, the alcohol is paid. The other bars are open until 00.00. A few days later the music at the disco tired, because playing the same thing every day. In the city near the hotel there are many bars and restaurants and souvenir shops.
