Regency Hotel & Spa

Pablo and all of the animation team made our holiday. They were all so friendly and we enjoyed our regular chats. The team could tell if we wanted to be left alone or were happy to participate in animation events. Pablo spent a lot time with us as he was trying to understand our Scottish accents! Bless him he even took notes! The hotel was fine although a little dated. The food was lovely but nothing was piping hot. The bar staff were a little slow, even when the bar was very quiet. Thanks again to the animation team for making us feel so welcome

This is our third visit to regency hotel and spa. Baseem in the restaurant has to be the kindest, loveliest person who goes above and beyond to make your experience amazing, he organised a lovely birthday party for our friend Jai and even came in on his night of to make it a night to remember, he is a credit to the hotel and should be credited for this, he makes sure everyone no matter what language they speak has a kind word and nothing is to much for him to do, even making our eggs this morning as no one else around 10/10. The bar staff are also amazing as we never had an empty tumbler and were always given some nibbles again 10/10. Ali baba is also a credit as even though he was selling trips was always available to answer any questions and help out. The entertainment team well Where do I start Joe,Pablo (new entertainer but a lovely guy who always stopped to speak) Bebo, amazing they are also a credit to the hotel and defo would not be anything great without them. Our cleaner has to be the BEST, she was so good and again made sure everything we needed was there and cleaned our room spotlessly. Can’t wait to come back soon. Ps if anyone requires a dentist the one in monastir is brilliant, efficient and a fraction of the cost in Scotland and much better . Margaret x

Wow an amazing holiday, Bebo and the animation team totally made the holiday always keeping a good vibe interacting with the guests putting on many shows and events, also well worth a trip in to see Samir and his hubby bubbly and tea, totally felt relaxed and would come back tomorrow if I could............

We had the most amazing time at this resort… it could definitely do with a bit of a make over with the fittings and fixtures. Our bath has definitely seen better day and the taps could do with a deep clean! HOWEVER … the entertainment staff are absolutely incredible. They work incredibly hard and are so friendly! They speak really good English as well and try to understand and learn about your culture. Special shout out especially to BEBO!✨ but also to Bruno and Joe! They all have amazing communication skills and are great at making bonds with the guests! They encourage you to take part in activities and it’s easy to have fun and be around them! They have definitely made our stay 100 times better!! Before my husband (getto Pete, renamed by Bebo) and I left Bebo and Bruno made sure to take time to say goodbye to us even though it was after their shift! I’ll definitely miss our chats with Bebo! I don’t think they get the full credit that they deserve! They’re just amazing people, always happy to see you!! Bebo, Bruno … we will see you again in the near future! We also done a 2 day excursion trip to the colosseum and the Star Wars set.. truly magnificent! Our tour guide Farra, was incredible and went out of his way to make our tour the best experience possible for everyone! I would say that if you’re going to do it, book a longer stay because they’re long busy days but, absolutely totally worth every minute!!

Returned today from a week all inclusive. We arrived sat 2nd at 11.45pm the person checking us in offered to organise something for us to eat but we we're shattered so declined. We weren't given any other information including times, areas etc so pretty much figures it out as we went. There was lots of positive, the hotel is overall very clean but in placed shows some aging but for the price great value. Only issue was the maid on first two days came in even when we Said it was okay and then kept asking for coins. But after second day was different maids who if they came and we were in the room would offer to come back. The food was a good variety across the breakfast, lunch and dinner but could be repetitive. Both of us are fussy eaters but always had plenty to eat. The waitors always had our table set up and we're very attentive and made sure we always had plenty to drink and were okay. The bar staff at times could be a little slow but often was only one on so they tried their best to keep up with demand even using Google translate when one didn't understand our request. Cocktail party hour was good and cocktails were nice but these weren't offered on normal menu. The entertainment at night wasn't really our cup of tea. This mainly was due to it being quiet and very few English spoke guests although could not fault the entertainment team who went out their way to make us included always speaking in both languages and making a point of coming to speak to us. However during the day activities such as archery, water aerobics etc always had us included and joining in and these were good fun. Bebo, casper were lovely but a big shout out to Bruno who really went out his way to ensure we were okay, always chatting to everyone and making them feel welcome. He is a asset to the hotel and team working extremely hard to ensure everyone has a good time and are included. The area was nice and there is the marina, museliam and things all within a quick 5 minute walk. It is not the sort of place I would recommend if looking for the party vibe but perfect for a relaxing vacation with lovely views. We were worried after reading some other reviews but would definetly recommend and go back.

Lovely hotel the animation team were great very friendly and helpful always. Bebo and Bruno especially... house keepers also great rooms kept very clean everyday. Food was a bit hit and miss but we visited the Marina for local restaurants which is only 2 minutes opposite hotel.. Overall a lovely experience ☺️

We have enjoyed our stay here at Regency, we have been here a few times. Location is really good, market nearby and restaurants close by. The beach and marina are also on the doorstep. The Staff here are extremely friendly and amicable, especially the waiters and Ahmed from guest relations. The spa is also really good with lovely pool facilities.

Good value for money. Clean, excellent location, some malfunctions (door reader, power cut...)
