I had a great time at this hotel. . The room is spacious, cozy and quiet, really nothing to complain about.. Everything is perfect. Great welcome. Great and professional team. During my first stay in Tunisia, I was very happy and very surprised to be received by the director himself, he met all my expectations during my stay in recovery. Beautiful hotel deserving of a five star hotel, hope to return to Tunisia for sightseeing and would not hesitate to return. Created with great charm and close to everything, I can only recommend this hotel, especially me, who was a professional, I am difficult and very critical of 4 or more stars. I recommend this hotel which is simply exceptional... From the hospitality to the food, it has everything you need to have a great time, I was amazed! That all hotels in Tunisia take this hotel as an example because it is a real school of tourism and service concept... Bravo!!!

Maybe my favourite ever hotel experience. I had such a great time here. The hotel is to a great standard, all the facilities are great & the climate control in the room is the best I've ever come across. Absolutely the most excellent part of the stay was the staff. To a person they were professional, friendly, efficient & accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble & I've never felt so valued as a resident. The only downsides are that the shower was a bit weak & l don't recommend dining on site in the hotel or bar, as the food doesn't seem to be the freshest (although the selection available is great). Overall, l can't recommend this venue enough & it broke my heart a bit to leave!

This was my second time in a month at Le Belvedere Fourati hotel, which starts to be like home when I have to stay in Tunis. The hotel is family-managed by the owners themselves, the two brothers Noureddine and Mehdi who are absolutely wonderful and a joy to talk to, answering every query instantantly. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, including receptionists at the front desk, cleaners, waiters, doormen, security/parking agents, etc. - that’s what make this hotel so great, not to say special, and what particularly made my stay more comfortable.
Every guest I talked to in the hotel would agree with my quote: “Like Managers, Like Staff”. Indeed, from the breakfast staff who knew what I wanted to eat and drink each morning and brought my omelette, my favourite coffee and fruit juice, to the receptionists who would welcome me each time with smiling faces, until the doorman who would rush to hold my luggage or to manage to find a parking lot for my rented car, and even to any friend willing to visit me in the hotel.
The room is always clean and equipped with all the necessary items, as well as the case for the other hotel amenities.
The location is also perfect for walking around, including a fresh walk in the nearby Belvedere Park from which the hotel picked its name, or looking for coffee stores or restaurants close by. While the place is pleasantly quiet, it’s only a 20-minute walk to downtown Tunis or its Medina - the old city.
In short, this is the ideal place to stay either to do business or to enjoy the visit of many landmarks/cultural/historic places like Le Bardo, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, La Marsa, etc. Moreover, it’s just 15 minutes from the airport.
All this with an affordable, unbeatable price!

I initially booked 3 nights in August and then later extended for an additional 3 nights so 6 nights in total.

I booked a twin room (tried to get double room but was fully booked) for single person. I was able to see what double and junior rooms are like as my friend booked a junior suite and later a double room.

Pros:
1. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. If I stayed in during the morning and went out in the afternoon, this was accomodated for (just make sure you hang sign on door knob).
2. All staff extremely friendly and accomodating (including security, front desk, cleaners, etc.) which made stay more comfortable. For example, I told staff the kettle was not functioning properly in my room and on the same day it was replaced.
3. It is in a good location and can easily reach most key areas (e.g. Sidi Bou Said, La Marsa, Lake of Tunis, Medina, etc.) in Tunis with a single taxi ride less than 30 mins.
4. Rooms have all basic necessities (e.g kettle, AC, fridge, etc.)

Cons:
- Breakfast could have more of a variety.
- Doesnt have the best view.
- Shuttle transfer is slightly expensive at 55 DT compared to bolt ride.

Final thoughts:
If you can afford it, go for double room over twin even if a single traveller. The room is larger, has walk-in shower rather than bath tub with fitted shower cover, has double bed rather than two adjoined single beds.
If you can afford junior suite go for that. For a quoted four star hotel, the junior suite felt more like facilities of five star.

If I come to Tunis again, would definitely stay in this hotel again.
It is a hidden gem.

The room was really comfortable! Very clean! There was no noise from the street even with its location. Ramzi and the other waiters were really helpful and friendly.
The food was great! Try the sea bass and lamp chops.
The location made it easy for us to do our business around Tunis and walk around.
