The hotel's hardware facilities are not very good. After all, it looks a certain age. The service staff are also quite old. From the lobby to the guest rooms, there is always a peculiar smell that cannot be suppressed by perfume. The breakfast is OK and the big park next to it is nice.

You need to go through security to enter the hotel, and it feels very safe. The hotel provides free drinking water, which is rare in Tunisia and many four-star hotels do not have it. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. You can have a bird's eye view of Tunis from the ninth floor.

Very good hotel, worth 5 stars! There is nothing special for the staff. The room is very nice and functional, there is even a pillow menu! We had dinner at the restaurant and everything was perfect again! There is underground parking. We will happily return next time to Tunisia!

Very clean and excellent service. The only disappointment was, the pool was closed. They said the heater wasn't working. I specifically booked the hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport and the fact that they had an indoor pool so I could swim. The spa was excellent and I had an amazing massage from Yasmine. I would stay again but hopefully they get the pool heater fixed.

Stopped off for coffee during a Tunis trip. Yes it’s a little old fashioned, and - as with lots of places here - indoor smoking, but we had a warm welcome. Coffee was best I’ve had on the trip. Nice staff; good service. Location is very good, main ***** near markets.

Great location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.

El Hana hotel is located directly on the main boulevard in Tunis with a very friendly staff and pretty good size rooms. The bed was firm with the view of the National theater right across the street. Internet connection was slow and hard to get connected.

I loved staying here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely and big. Bathroom included a bathtub. There was a nice area to relax in the room between the bedroom and bathroom. Also there was a nice workspace alcove by the bedroom. The staff organized my trips for me and allowed me late checkout. This is my 4th time staying at Novotel Tunis Mohammed V. While the staff are nice and helpful as always, I believe that the quality of rooms and the service has deteriorated drastically. I had problem with the WC closet which was leaking water. After reporting the problem, someone came to check but explained that it would take time to fix it and left and I wasn’t offered to change the room afterwards...

Wonderful amenities and food. I paid with a credit card and it was easy to manage. The nonprofit picked up the hotel tab. The front desk arranged a ride to the airport at midnight. My flight to Frankfurt was leaving at 4am. Courteous driver since the hotel staff are well aware how to advise people traveling alone.

It's ok for single people, but it certainly needs to get better for couples.

Used the pool access on two occasions. 90 dinar for access of which 50 can be used for food/drink. First time I ordered a pizza and was disgusting. Second time ordered pasta which as much better. During the week it is calm and quiet however Sunday was busy with locals and lots of kids and the music was blasting through the speakers. Not the relaxing vibe searched for.

I was at the bar , the food is really good, the service very nice and waiters are so kind . Unfortunately the cigarettes smells, cigarettes smoke are very intense and make the bar not really comfortable. I will recommend to stay outside but avoid inside :(

I was 4 days in Occidental Lac Tunis and the overall experience is very positive. All the employees were always very nice and available for anything you need. My Room was very beautiful, big, extremely cleaned all days and with an amazing bed, really comfortable.
