The Hotel 48

I do not recommend, it's way to expensive for what it offers. Rooms are dirty, no lights, have no windows, the beds were dirty , bathroom dirty, there was even a cigarette bud in the floor... Location is great though.

Worst hotel ever 🤮

They first put us in a room without a window, at the reception, impossible to sleep we all heard, the room was dirty and the bathroom also had not been cleaned and a horrible smell, when we wanted to change room we were asked for money, after insisting they moved us, there was the same smell but at least a window, the water in the bathroom did not work, we had to change room again, it was a very bad experience, to flee

We arrived in the hotel and the receptionist was not really nice. He give us a room with the wc dirty of sheet! So dirty also the room and the bed. We move one day before, Also if we paied. No Windows in the room. The breakfast was so small, one piece of tomato, 2 small pieces of cucumber, one boiled egg. No service and no smile from the staff.Terrible experience

Never again! We felt cheated due to their advertisement where it is stated, they have a hotel beach, a restaurant, a roof bar with fantastic view! Where in fact there is nothing!!! The hotel is not located at a beach, the hotel doesn‘t have a restaurant- just a breakfast service, the roof terasse looks terrible and it is used as storage area. Not even a god view from there. The rooms don‘t have windows- like jail! It is not expensive but even if, we will never go back to that place.

Careful with this hotel, we have bad experiences:
rooms dark and smelly
very noicy
dirty bathroom
There are many better hotels than this one.

There is nothing good to say about this place...

The worst is the noise you hear inside your room, mostly during the night. The hotel layout is so poor, the main hall is connected without any separation with the reception area, and with only a glass door (always open) separating from the street, so when you are trying to relax, or to sleep, you get to hear the music being played on the reception area (even sometimes during the night), and the noises of the cars and the people outside...
If you happend to stay in a room near the reception like the one we were assigned to... Just try to get another one as soon as you can...

The rooms themselves, slightly damaged by the recent quake, are too simple, failing in something as normal as having a safe, with lack of lights and missing lightbulbs. The water pressure is far from good, and the shower throws water in every direction...

The breakfast (included) is poor to say the least. Just plain bread, butter, cheese, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, juice, coffee, tea and milk (maybe I'm missing something) everyday is too much, or too little to be honest... We ended up having breakfast in the bakery across the street, and what a difference!...

Honestly, the only good thing I can remember is the friendliness of the guy that works at the reception (the girl is the opposite, being almost rude). The guy helped us in every way he could, arranging for a new room when the girl said she couldn't, giving us tips about where to go and what to do, and basic information such as the beach bars they have agreements with and where you can stay without paying extra for the lounge chairs.

I don't know how they're a 3 star hotel... Honestly!
And to finish, I can't understand how they have such great reviews on several websites... If you visit the Google Street View, you'll see that the hotel had another name recently, and that might explain it, but I can't be sure...

If you happend to book a room in this place, good luck! I know we're not coming back never again...
