Istankoy Hotel

This has been one of many visits to this hotel. As usual, the service is excellent, the food is divine and the accommodation is clean but basic. The hotel is central to the city and is hard to beat. The staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. I cannot praise this hotel more highly.

We're just back, Hotel Istankoy is a great hotel, avoid the poolside rooms if you dont want the bar noise, food was great at breakfast with a big selection offered....omelettes, scrambles and fried eggs with breads, meats and cheeses. The staff couldn't be friendlier and they will do anything they can to assist. Close to the sea front, restaurants and shops, 15 mins walk to the ferry to Kos. Ideal location for exploring, not many sunbeds but loads of hotels and bars let you use theirs for free.

I cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff and management were absolutely superb. Nothing was too much trouble. We had some problems that were not with the hotel bur which they do sorted out immediately.

Loved our stay here! Brilliant location close to main beachfront, restaurants and shops. Hotel was spotlessly clean, room was lovely with a really comfy king-size bed! Staff are amazing and the bar and pool area are fab. Looking forward to coming back next year. Mark and Jen room 905

It was our second time staying at this hotel and would definitely recommend it The staff were amazing and very friendly Erhan was extremely friendly and helpful (Your son is a credit to you very polite and always helpful) And memet on the back gate is was pleasure meeting him The staff from room service to the bar and the kitchen made our stay a memorable one And Hassan and all of your team are great ( shake em up ) See you again in September Regards to you all Bill & Mandie

What makes this hotel such a good one is the family atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble! Rooms are comfortable and are cleaned every day. The breakfast is great with plenty of options for eggs or omelettes as well as fresh fruit and salad items. I enjoyed being able to have a bar tab attached to my room, this was convenient to pay off at the end of my stay. Staff work so hard as a team and deserve our utmost respect. Having tried meals at local restaurants, we reverted to eating our meals at the hotel, such a wide range of menu options, I can highly recommend the vegetarian options such as the curry and fajitas. Portions are generous and you don’t have to wait long for your food to arrive. There’s a reason that most of the hotel guests there are return customers! We will definitely be back, thank you all again!

This was a lovely hotel right in the heart of Bodrum close to the sea, beach, restaurants, harbour and shops (and around 40 mins transfer time from the airport). I spent most of the holiday in the hotel by the pool - it felt too hot to do much else and the hustle culture at the restaurant and shops in Bodrum with them vying for your custom doesn’t appeal to me at all. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. I was on the top floor and could see the sea from my balcony space. Being central it is quite noisy around through the night. The hotel breakfast buffet was lovely and the lunch/dinner menu had a vast range from local dishes to English favourites (I never thought I would have a Traditional Sunday roast in Turkey). You could eat here every night and have something different . I don’t think Turkey is as cheap as it used to be or as people make out and in Bodrum you have to watch out for extras being added to bills so it was relaxing just to chill around the hotel. The staff were all friendly and attentive and there was music, entertainment and Bingo on evenings over the course of the week. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonably priced, a local beer under £3 draught. The hotel is smallish and there were not too many children(and it’s not a young party hotel either) so it it had a nice peaceful vibe which was relaxing.

This hotel offers a realistic feel of Turkey 🇹🇷 The staff are all amazing, helpful, and polite. Situated just of the main harbour front. About 150 meters away is the beautiful shopping centre. Although the prices have risen in Turkey, it's still good value for money 💰. Love the place.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. The rooms are a bit on the small side and a bit dated. Could have upgraded but for an extra £200.
Also, I don't know why we had to pay £30 to keep room on for an extra 6 hours when guests were offered a room for the whole night for £28 per night with breakfast.
The
hotel had a great atmosphere, quiet and relaxing during the day and a party atmosphere at night with some bingo and karaoke thrown in. Shake em up, lol.
The hotel is in a superb location and easy to book trips at great prices too. Breakfast was a good choice, but you could upgrade to other items on their menu.
