Lissiya Hotel

Amazing views, very poor restaurant. We didn’t stay there but used the restaurant for one evening. Me and my boyfriend both had Seabass. While his seabass was fresh, mine was stale. I let the hotel know and the manager came to kind of apologise but at the same time he was a little bit dismissive by saying that they were provided by the same provider and cannot be stale. I’ve been having fish since I was born and know when fish is not fresh. It is my mistake to trust this place and not ask to see the fish before it was cooked. I ate the fish to the best I can and tried to save it with lemon and olive oil but completely disappointed. I also can’t see any excuses to serve this fish when the sea literally is in front of the hotel. I am not happy about my experience at all. The service was really slow as well. We had raki with meze, raki came 10 mins before the meze so the coordination was not great. In the end we were charged full which is also not great experience to pay full for stale fish. I just wouldn’t recommend going to this place for dinner. It might be worth going for accommodation for the views but I have my doubts.

Edit: Upon this comment, management called me and apologised for the experience. At least they seem to care what customers think and took my feedback.

To start, I would say that this is the worst management I've ever seen in a hotel.
We travelled half the world and this is the worst trap I've veen.
Don't get fooled by the fake reviews cause this is what you will get:
1. An old hotel with a perfect view but very old facilities and a hard bed to break your bones besides the smell of the old furniture in the room once you get in.
2. It is at a top of the mountain and nothing near it and to get down to oludeniz you need like 36 min for 18km down the very dangerous small roads (google the road map for yourself befor you come)
3. Once you are here you get trapped and the manager is always on your tail watching you either on the cameras or at the breakfast... all just to push you to consume in their restaurant cause once it's dark forget about driving.
He embaressed us taking some grocery we bought from down the village for our tomorrow boat trip and said it's against hotel policy which was nowhere on booking or in the hotel itself.
And watched us one day at the breakfast untill we finished and then the day after charged us for a stupid omelet that we asked the satff for as replacement to cheese platter, pancakes, fries, vegetables platter cause we don't eat them (wired right)

Our fault was not to check the comments of others that got trapped here before us in both languages english and arabic.
Translate for yourself and if you still want that stupid view come and see for yourself.
We paid 2400 euros for 5 days that went to waste and ruined our holiday after visiting 3 different hotels in the country.
My advice to all of you: GO TO AN INTERNATIONAL CHAIN CAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND SOMEONE TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM because here no one cared or asked if we want to change the towels for 5 days or if we even needed toilet paper.
Turkiye is a very beautiful country deserves better thant these guys.
I would only give a big thaks to Burak, the very kind waiter and his other colleagues for being nice to us always.

Worst management ever with a super arrogant owner. Although it clearly says fully refundable, and although I cancelled my booking months in advance, they tried to not give my money back. After weeks of phone calls and multiple messages, they still didn’t refund saying local exchange rate changed in the meantime (which is not my problem as I paid in US Dollars). I had to threaten them to take my money back, which I did after fighting for a month. I don’t recommend at all. There are way better places closer to the sea.

I had the displeasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it was quite an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons. After eating dinner, I wanted to take a dip in the jacuzzi to spend a romantic evening with my wife. As soon as I opened the water there was an overwhelming smell emanating from the jacuzzi. It was as if someone had decided to take a dip in a swamp filled with rotten eggs. Not exactly the luxurious and relaxing experience I had in mind. To make matters worse, I couldn't help but notice the presence of some uninvited guests - insects! It seemed like they had found a cozy home in the jacuzzi, making me question the cleanliness and maintenance of the entire place. If that wasn't enough, the room itself was in dire need of a deep clean. Dust covered every surface, making me wonder if the concept of housekeeping was foreign to the staff. And let's not forget about the trash left on the porch. It was as if the hotel had decided to showcase their collection of garbage for all to see. Also there was an outdoor sofa filled with hair & dust. Overall, my stay was a complete disappointment. The dirty rooms, foul-smelling jacuzzi, and the presence of insects left me longing for a clean and comfortable place to rest. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodation unless you have a fondness for uncleanliness and insect companions. We requested a different room but they refused to change and the manager refused to even come or talk to us. In all don’t waste your money because they don’t have a concept of service and ruined our romantic evening.
