The true colours of a business are revealed when something goes wrong. Either they take responsibility or they deflect it. Sadly for this hotel, it was the latter. DO NOT use their laundry service!!

I handed over my laundry in the morning, a day before checkout. I asked if it would be done by the next morning, to which i was told it may even be done on the same day. Next morning, no sight of my laundry. I was told I had to come back to the hotel later to receive it! Totally ridiculous! Thankfully for them I was still in the area. Otherwise how in the world would I have gotten my clothes back??

Upon finally being able to receive my laundry 2 days after check out, I was charged an overpriced fee of 3000TL (80EURO) for 4 days worth of 1 person’s laundry items! I said this was unreasonable and asked for a discount to compensate for the delay and huge inconvenience. None offered!! Just excuses, like how the laundry is done by an external laundromat, so it’s not up to them to set the price or how I didn’t specify a time etc etc (aka deflecting responsibility).

After several days of WhatsApp messages to hopefully get at least a partial refund, only the same excuses and now they are even ignoring me.

It’s a shame because the hotel experience was otherwise fine. Clean rooms, good breakfast, great hamam.

A real pity how they are willing to sacrifice their reputation and customer satisfaction for some laundry profits. A loss for me perhaps, but a bigger loss for them.
