Dalaman Airport Lykia Thermal & Spa Hotel

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The food in the restaurant was below average and certainly not what you'd expect from a 4-star property. In the bathroom, the shower didn’t drain properly due to a poor slope in the floor, which made it quite inconvenient to use.

On top of that, we were woken up by a phone call at 4:30 AM, even though we had not requested a wake-up call. When we asked about it, we were told that a staff member had dialed the wrong room — an unacceptable mistake.

Another major downside was the noise from airplanes passing nearby — it was extremely loud and disturbing, especially at night.

Overall, the hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating, and I would not recommend staying here.

This place is the worst hotel I have ever seen. The staff are racist and rude. Four waitresses who should have been working all stood there staring at us and laughing.
When confronted they made up a lie which made no sense. When we returned to the dirty room, a man entered the room and they pretended it was for cleaning. This country lacks respect for people of colour, but want us to spend our money here. I will never return to Turkey

Then charged again when checking out in the morning

I have never had such a miserable hotel stay in all my life.
We wanted to check in and we were too early (12 noon) so they had us wait 2 hours in the lobby with nowhere to store out luggage. The girls at the counter spoke very little English making it a bit stressful for us to try to check in overall.
When we finally were checked in the room was under construction - they guy was literally putting a door on the room when we walked up to it!
We went back to the lobby and waited and waited and waited.
When they let us in I had to get them to come and clean the room - it was coated in construction dust! Finally we are in the room and I see the safe is in pieces at the bottom of the closet and the room is for a handicapped guest.
We later discover that the shower completely floods the bathroom (if you aren't in a wheelchair I guess) and that there are NO electric outlets operating in the room. A lamp in the corner has no bulb in it.
I was getting tired of having to go to the front to complain and besides that - every time I went up there, someone different was at the desk.
I begged them to move us and he kept telling me we should never have been in that handicapped room in the 1st place. Hello? I did not choose that room!
After a long drawn out difficult conversation we were reluctantly moved to another room.
There’s a pool but the water slides are not operating, not working/in disrepair some guy in the hotel told me. There's a bar in the lobby with nobody tending it - is it just for looks?
We ate breakfast and dinner at the buffets and lunch at the ala carte restaurant. Service in the restaurant is tricky as they have little English and there are no descriptions of the food items on the menu. Eggs in the breakfast buffet were ice cold, they leave all the warming trays open. Coffee is awful, but that’s how I found coffee all over the country to be honest.
We were booked at this hotel as part of a tour. We were supposed to get free transfers to the airport but that did not happen. The guy at the desk said no way even after I showed him correspondence from my travel agent that said the hotel manager was aware of this. By this time I had had more than enough of dealing with the staff at the hotel. Out taxi took us to the airport and thankfully I had CASH because the driver refused to accept a credit card, even though he had credit card symbols all over the interior of his car.
I was in Turkey for 3 weeks. This last 2 days left a terrible impression on me as I had hoped to leave the country only with wonderful memories of my tour through it.
Anyone who stays at this hotel is a fool.
