Sultanahmet Inn Hotel

Run!!! Do not stay here. The manager and cleaners/receptionist steal. They work together and split the money. I had a large amount of money for a surgery I kept in the closet in my bag. I stayed two weeks on my last two days they money was gone. I never took the bag outside of the hotel. When I confronted the staff I was gaslit by the manager. I made a police report and was still gaslit the entire time. They spoke in Turkish I couldn’t understand anything. Please save yourself and pay more for a safer hotel. Also the pictures are all a lie. There is no breakfast at all at this place but they advertise as free breakfast. They are scam artist. I was accused of wanting a refund for my stay when the stay was only 641$ compared to almost 8000$ I was robbed of. He said we spent it on shopping. All I bought were scarves and food. The manager is nasty and defended his cleaner blindly. He said they would never do that I know this you are probably lying and dreaming you had that much money with you. They will say Allah is watching. They are professional liars. The bathroom smells like a sewer 24/7 our room stank so bad and there is hardly any light in there. It’s a motel!!! The receptionist is hardly ever at the desk you have to hunt her down she’ll either be smoking or inside some house next door. Disgusting trashy people. When we were checking out the Uzbekistani receptionist started yelling and cursing to our taxi driver that we accused her of stealing and played victim. So unprofessional and ghetto. She gave me an evil eye glare.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Sultanahmet INN hotel. My stay did not meet my expectations as the reality was completely different from the pictures published online. Despite the receptionist's confirmation that the heater would work, my room was extremely cold, which made it impossible for me to sleep the entire night, and as a result, my next day was ruined. After the first night, I had no other option but to check out and find another hotel. The hotel I moved to told me that they had received many similar cases where guests moved to them after seeing the Sultanahmet Inn hotel.
The sea view was a joke; it was only visible from a tiny corner via a window that overlooked an area with a lot of rubbish. Additionally, there was a big dog in the front door of the reception, no restaurant or room services, and the staff couldn't communicate effectively in basic English. The most significant issue was that when I reported the problem via Expedia's website, the hotel lied and said that the heater was working, which shows that they cannot be trusted. i wouldn't recommend the hotel for over 55 years old or people with health conditions , the stairs are very dangerous and unsafe. BTW I surprise where they got this restaurant pictures form , the hotel has no restaurant , and no breakfast , i did clearly asked if they have breakfast , or a resturent , they clearly said no , and i haven't seen one
