Reviews
The staff at this hotel truly made our stay special. They were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Zehra at the lobby, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hospitality extended by the entire team made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
For families, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The children's team was wonderful, keeping the kids entertained with various activities, which allowed us parents to relax and enjoy our time.
The food was also great, offering a variety of delicious options that pleased everyone in our group.
I am definitely considering returning to this hotel in the future. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard of service and hospitality. Highly recommended!
From the outside, the hotel may look luxurious due to its exterior lighting, but inside, it’s a different story. The rooms have dated amenities, with old TVs lacking smart capabilities and mini-fridges that heat up on the outside rather than keeping items cool. Both rooms we stayed in had a constant sewage odor in the bathrooms, which was unpleasant and made the space feel poorly maintained.
Housekeeping and maintenance were also major letdowns. The kettle in one room contained dead bugs, and when I requested a replacement, housekeeping simply rinsed it and returned it to me, which was unhygienic and careless. Daily cleaning was substandard—housekeeping staff seemed rushed and unmotivated, often using the same mop in both the bathrooms and bedroom areas. Each morning, black dirt was visible underfoot, reflecting a lack of thoroughness in cleaning. Safety issues included bedside lights with exposed wiring, which seemed risky, especially in a supposed 5-star hotel.
The guest experience was equally disappointing. The guest relations team was unresponsive to our concerns and surprisingly even asked us to leave a 5-star review while numerous issues remained unresolved. Cemile Aslan, the guest relations manager, was particularly dismissive. Instead of addressing our concerns, she often boasted about her experience and claimed that the hotel was “the best.” This came across as unprofessional, and her manner was uninterested in genuinely improving our experience. I also had issues with billing at the hotel’s arcade, where inconsistent currency exchange rates led to overcharges. Though management claimed they’d addressed it, I had to dispute the charges myself as staff seemed unwilling to help.
The kids’ club was disorganized and unsafe, especially for younger children. Older kids were allowed to play roughly and throw balls in the same area as smaller kids, and when one child was hit, no staff intervened. The pool area also lacked adequate hygiene. Dirt accumulated at the bottom of the pools over multiple days, something I’ve never experienced at other 5-star hotels where pools are cleaned nightly.
The dining experience started off adequately, but I later developed food poisoning from the soy chicken noodles. For an all-inclusive hotel, the food variety was limited, and many items were charged separately rather than included, as expected. Dining staff were often inattentive, which meant long waits for service. Some glasses smelled of fish, and the quality of drinks was poor—overly carbonated, seemingly to reduce actual consumption.
Other inconveniences throughout the stay added up quickly:
- The “private beach” was overcrowded, with sunbeds packed tightly together, offering no privacy or relaxation.
- Parking was chaotic. Although they advertise guest parking, most spaces were used by staff, and when I attempted to unload my car, a concierge informed me I couldn’t park there unless I rented a car through the hotel.
- The entrance to the hotel is on a steep incline, creating a hazard for elderly guests and families with children.
- Wi-Fi coverage was unreliable and frequently disconnected, making it difficult to stay connected around the property.
One of the worst encounters was at the Mahall Bar on November 6, 2024, where a bartender named Mostafa was rude and unprofessional. When I requested my drink be remade after he prepared it incorrectly, he angrily slammed the drink on the bar, an unacceptable response at any establishment, let alone a 5-star hotel.
In summary, Adalya Elite Hotel fell drastically short of the luxury experience it promises. Between outdated amenities, subpar cleanliness, and an unhelpful guest relations team—especially Cemile Aslan—the hotel requires serious improvements. I cannot recommend it for anyone seeking a premium experience in Antalya.
There was one tiny exception, the young, tall thin male on reception, he was so rude and very sarcastic. We reported the air conditioning in room 6033 as not working to a female member of reception, she was dealing with us when he came over to ask what was wrong, she explained she was dealing with it only for him to ask again what was wrong, I explained to him that the air conditioning wasn't working to be told , you need to close your doors , i told him we did and he said well if the red light is on its working!! He was told there was no red light and he just smirked. The female staff member looked a little embarrassed and told us someone would be at our room in 15 minutes. I thanked her and as we walked away,he said in a very sarcastic voice, have a lovely evening and laughed. There was no need for him to speak over the other staff member or be so rude and make us feel we were stupid.
Our stay at Adalya Elite Lara Hotel was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at the Kids Club. We arrived with our energetic 5-year-old son, and from the moment we stepped into the Kids Club, it was clear we were in the best of hands. The girls who looked after our son were nothing short of amazing. Their warmth, patience, and genuine care saved our holiday from what could have been a very challenging experience.
Every day, our son was eager to join the fun, and he quickly bonded with the staff, who made him feel so welcome. The personal attention they gave him, ensuring he was comfortable and engaged, meant that he was having so much fun he never wanted to leave.
In the evenings, the kids' shows were a highlight not only for him but for us as parents too. The shows were beautifully organized, and it was evident that a lot of thought and effort went into making each one special.
The only thing was the taxi service, which doesn’t not belongs to hotel, but cooperate with them.
Cheaters, rude ones…
Exchange office next to the hotel Mall of Anatolia gives good rates, then you’ll find in downtown.
The food was very good and diverse, includes also kids food and diet food.
Overall, I strongly recommend it, hope to visit again.
Kind regards,
Will (the red wine and water guy 😅)
Food is amazing, plenty of choice, cakes out of this world.
Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Thin walls though if you get a snorer next door.
Loads of swimming pools and outdoor areas, plenty of sun loungers. (Only downside are the very thin brown beach towels provided).
Many bars and shops within the hotel, great choice of drinks and lovely bar staff.
Lovely little shopping mall opposite and larger shopping malls a 15 minute walk down the road.
All in all a great hotel, therefore im going back!!
