Hilton Garden Inn Sanliurfa

Definitely a great and professional and comfortable option in this important Archaeological and Historical City. Gozde at the front desk was AMAZING, truly above and beyond professional. She personally walked me to the transit location for the bus to Gobeklitepe! I never had anyone in my life at a hotel do this! Her support and that of the rest of the staff the entire trip was excellent.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet enough, only hearing mild traffic in the background. Shower was great, size was nice, and hotel is lovely. Internet a bit slow but usable. This could be upgraded. I didn't try the hotel restaurant but the huge mall next door also had plenty of options for anything.

My only reason for not giving total 5 stars is that the temperature control in the room doesn't work well, making me have to open windows a lot even in the winter when it's cold outside because the room was too hot for me to sleep comfortably without it. This is a common problem throughout Turkey, I have found, and not unique to this hotel. Turkish people seem to like it very very warm inside, I don't. This should be upgraded and temperature control should always work well for this class of hotel.

Also, the spa area is lovely, but they let a lot of local groups of young men use it just for a quick massage and their behavior in the locker rooms and sauna and pool area is very immature and not appropriate. Staff witnessed this but didn't stop it, and they should.

Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star!!!

Stay at this hotel for one of the best options in Sianlurfa! And bring your google translate app ready on your phone because most of the staff do not speak conversational English (again, quite common in Turkey).

Had room service. Hasan took our order and brought it directly to our room. All of our food was hot, which is rare when ordering room service. We Appreciated every detail. He even brought tea just because it was fresh. What a great guy !

Very nice hotel next to the archeological museum. Even my room was a non-smoking room, there was a very bad smell of old smoke. After I told this the reception they gave me a new room without any problems. The staff was very nice and the breakfast good. I would stay there again.

My room was very clean and large, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, English was spoken a little, breakfast was included and was very filling, plenty of secure basement parking. This is a very new hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks, Rick. June 20th. 2024

An amazing location, close to many historical places. Moderate hotel rooms, prices around 500 TL for 07/21. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Located between the biggest Shopping mall and archeological museum. 10 minutes walk from the Balıklı Göl and old town.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Friendly, helpful staff. They were kind enough to arrange a taxi to visit Gobekli Tepe at a fair price. The restaurant staff were all nice. Breakfast was decent enough. The location is good, right next to the museum and about a 15 minute walk from the old city.

The only areas for improvement are the AC and in-room fridges. Unfortunately neither worked properly during my stay. Other than that, this is a good option for the area.
