We enjoyed our stay at this tastefully furnished and well equipped house with it's very green garden full of flowers and a refreshing pool.
Check-in and communication was easy and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
I travel a ton and usually stays at 4 and 5 star hotels….Hotel Mary’s might not have all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, but the family who owns and runs it are absolutely amazing folks. Very genuine, accommodating and incredibly hospitable
Oh and location of Hotel Mary is perfect. Walking distance to pretty much all the sites you would want to visit - St John’s Basilica, Temple of Artemis, restaurants...
This is quite a very late review for this place . I thought at one time I already wrote a review but apparently I forgot! Shame on me !
Anyway , our small group stayed in this hotel about 4 years ago when we visited Ephesus. We found it in booking.com and chose it based on very positive reviews. And we're so glad we did !
The place is so charming, has this 'homey' feel the owner and his staff were...
We loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and the owner was truly a gem, so kind and welcoming. He helped us find an ATM, order taxis for us, recommended excellent places to eat and get drinks, and, of course, made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water! I would suggest bringing earplugs...

Very friendly family-feel hotel. location is best of none. it's on a flat ground (avoiding dragging suitcase up hill). it's close to the busy centre of town but also is located on a quiet street. The bus station to Ephesus is just across the street. Some local supermarket on the back side of the bus/taxi park area.
We stayed 5 nights. Umut and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and lovely shower and yummy breakfast. The location is perfect if traveling on foot, close to bus stop, shops and restaurants. The local sites are close to the hotel. Easy day trip to Ephesus, Kusadasi and Sirince. I highly recommend Nicea Hotel
The Situation;
We're travelling as a family group of 5, which means that in most places, we'll need two rooms to fulfil our needs. The booking at Nicea Hotel was for a 4 Person Family room and a 2 Person room.
The Good;
Our two rooms were well appointed & clean, with super comfortable beds & good bathrooms + hot water.
Breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning, but we found ourselves wanting...
1. Owner & Staffs
Absolutely friendly and helpful in so many ways. Owner, Ismail upgraded my bunk bed to a room by myself. He even invited me to enjoy a family Turkish dinner. Staffs were socially chatty with great conversations. Is surely key highlight of the hotel. The hospitality just phenomenally heartwarming.
2. Room
Very comfortable bed and surely clean bed linens!
Water closet may need some...
Nicea Hotel is located in a very convenient location just across the road from the bus station. There are also plenty of good food options very close by as well as supermarkets and shops within a 10 minute walk. For the small amount of money you pay for a night, do not expect the Ritz Carlton, but what you will get is a comfortable room and even a buffet Turkish style breakfast. The staff are all very...
Nice room, cheap, good location and nice staff but no working wifi

The hotel looks very gorgeous. Dinners and breakfast are quite good but the view from the room is quite disappointing. In the night all the fans from electronic devices are so loud that you get flashbacks from sleeping in the airplane.
The windows are made from paper and there was a wedding on the opposite side of the road. The base was echoing and shaking all the walls and it was difficult to sit in the room, not even thinking about sleeping. Also the WiFi works really poorly. But the food and the rooms were quite nice.
Went to Hitit only for lunch.
It was a buffet, pretty large spread.
It has a huge dining space to cater for tourist groups.
The toilets were not well kept, could be because of the large groups of all nationalities, flooding it.
I cannot understand why all restaurants Don't give water??
Cannot fathom this? In India the first thing we offer is water.
The room is quite small if compare other 4 stars hotel. But is quite clean and tidy. The double bed is not as big as other 4 star hotel. Location a little bit far from Kusadasi. The food is just average
I just having buffet lunch here with the group during the tour to 🇹🇷…. The food was good… Nice view and location…
I like this hotel. There are lots of ridiculous reviews on here that make the hotel sound like a death trap. The rooms are clean the food is good. The staff of the hotel are kind and try to help any way they can. The only drawback for this hotel is that it is right across the street from a wedding venue and if there is a wedding party it is super loud and there is no chance you are likely to fall asleep...

Centrally located in Selçuk, my bed/room/shower were extremely comfortable, breakfast was well-spread and the hospitality extended to us by our front desk staff, Ozgun, was the best! He’s so helpful and made us feel so welcomed. He even made us some hot tea and muffin while we waited for our very late transit out, so sweet of him. Overall a good hotel - don’t hesitate to book and stay with them… I...
Slept like a baby, enjoyed the most incredible breakfast (seriously, heaven - I had tiramisu for breakfast, and no one stopped me)
Ozgun is such an amazing host, and he was so lovely when taking care of us. As we waited for our night transportation, he made us tea and brought us muffins
He's an unbelievably kind and wonderful man!
Will definitely come back!
Loved our stay here because of the very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us tons of good recommendations and helped us out with our plans to see Selcuk. Probably the best hotel I have stayed at in Turkiye, mostly because of the friendly and wonderful staff!

What can I say about this place? We have never felt so welcomed by the Turkish hospitality as we were here. The service at this hotel is absolutely TOP NOTCH. I don't think we've ever been treated better.
The hotel was beautiful and the swimming pool in the courtyard was so pretty.
Our room was wonderful and comfortable. We had a small balcony for fresh air and AC as well. The bed was super nice...
The hotel had a very nice vibe to it. The staff was super friendly and provided us with assistance in both English and Turkish. They helped us plan our touristic visits around the area and were always available for assistance. There was a pool that looked nice and cool but we did not get a chance to use it. There were also a lot of cats and the hotel's dog which were fed by the staff and very cute
Friendly staff, good location and lovely breakfast. Parking right outside entrance of accommodation and nice clean facilities.

We had an amzing stay here in the top room with the Balcony, place is close to everything and just enough out of the way to be peaceful. Saviliya was an amazing help there with everything we needed, she really puts her heart into her job and is worth more money.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. They vary in size; look and consider whether you are comfortable in a smaller space. Nice quiet location up a hill with an inspiring view in the direction of Ephesus. The hosts are helpful and warm. Very good breakfast.
Hotel five minutes walk from centre, ten from train station. Quiet and peaceful, great views. Big comfortable bed, hot water, kind and helpful hosts. Great place to rest after a long day exploring.
Check in was simple, rooms were fabulous and comfortable (with aircon, a kettle, many towels) and shower was hot. Thank you so much for the ladies running this hotel for making it so homely and serving a great breakfast too!
Also the walk to the centre of town is downhill, there is a supermarket at the base of the road. English is limited but doable.
We spent two days at the hotel. The owner (Sevilay) was an amazing host. She helped us with everything. The breakfast is excellent, which huge variety of food. Obviously doesn't have the 'facilities' of a 5-star but we found the service and location to be really good.
Small and basic rooms.
Basic breakfast which was started early as we were leaving early with a tour.
Plenty of hot water in the bathroom but you need to let the water run a while for it to come through.
Very reasonable laundry charge of 150Lt a bag (£7.50)
Wonderful hotel. Make sure you use the blankets stored in the wall hanger where you hang your jackets as we were a bit cold over night not realizing that the heavier blankets were in that area. If you are interested in wine, I strongly recommend trying Yedi Bilgeler wines. I stayed at their hotel for the weekend. I tried different wines and they were all very good. The hotel was clean and cosy. I had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant and both were very delicious.
Wow wow wow
I'm stunned how beautiful everything was, the ambience of the restaurant and the wine cellars downstairs and the menu with outstanding delicious food just reminded me like I was in new Zealand, I did not expected this in Turkey to have this stunning award winning wines and accompanying by everything you can imagine. Nice local winery, would visit again but do not recommend making a detour for it unless you’re already in the region.
We spent a night at Yedi Bilheger on our trip to Izmir. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff very kind and generous.
The winery tries in many ways to emulate the Tuscany feel. It’s relatively new to the wine making business and not afraid to take some risks in how they blend their...
Went as a group of 15. Anticipated fine dining and everything you would associate with it. Some good points, but the service was a shambles, purely due to lack of staff. One waitress to take all orders, explain the wines on the tasting exercise and serve, accepted with two others, was woefully understaffed. The menu gave far too much info on what was in the dishes. Tried hard to be fine dining, but...
Excellent contemporary food which is very reasonably priced compared to numerous, overpriced and mediocre "kebab" and varieties, which is not even the local cuisine. In reality we went fir the wine, which was indeed excellent. It was about half the price some local restaurants charge for lower quality alternatives -- we tried only one of the wines but will be back to sample the others.
This winery/hotel/restaurant is in a lovely setting. The restaurant is delightful and romantic. Food is first class and delicious. Make sure to try the award-winning wines they produce.

Clean, comfortable and a nice warm welcoming hospitality that you will never forget. Thanks to the manager Mr Erdem and all staff.
