Where to stay in Selcuk

Very friendly family-feel hotel. location is best of none. it's on a flat ground (avoiding dragging suitcase up hill). it's close to the busy centre of town but also is located on a quiet street. The bus station to Ephesus is just across the street. Some local supermarket on the back side of the bus/taxi park area.

We stayed 5 nights. Umut and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and lovely shower and yummy breakfast. The location is perfect if traveling on foot, close to bus stop, shops and restaurants. The local sites are close to the hotel. Easy day trip to Ephesus, Kusadasi and Sirince. Don’t let the exterior fool you when you drive up, behind it is a little oasis. My wife and I camped here one night and swam in the pool which was a perfect respite from the heat. They have a nice bar to get drinks from and the employees were very nice an accommodating.

Giving low rating due to 2 reasons: 1) bathrooms have transparent glass doors which are not suitable for families with children. 2) there was a problem with air-conditioning and only the person at reception could set temperature and fan speed. Everything else was fine.

EXTREMELY comfortable bed and a large room. I LOVED the view (mountain). This is an owner-run hotel and the owner speaks German, English and Turkish. A Turkish version of UK Travelodge/ Premier Inn. Cheap, clean and comfortable with a good variety of eateries locally and on site car parking. Breakfast buffet was good with a reasonable selection. Would stay again.

Clean rooms affordable price and nice stuff good location

The host is very knowledgeable and guided us well on what to visit during our short stay. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk into the main area of old Selcuk, close to many restaurants, shops, etc. Breakfast was good, consisting of a hard boiled egg, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, jams, and honey.

Hi Iksan! Iksan is the landlord of the hotel. He is a guy who makes things happen. The hotel is simple, clean and a 5 minute walk to the center of Selcuk. And did i mention the unique view towards Efes and the sunset over the sea?

Family run facility. Great roof top patio for breakfast, quiet and private. Beautiful swimming pool. Very pleasant and accommodating family owners. Tuba and Bekir went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Bekir even gave us a ride down to the bus station on our departure day. Would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and the hotel with the pool is super nice. They kept our luggages during our daily trip to Ephesus and offered us bathroom and pool usage even after check-out when we got back!

For me it was a very nice hotel, the rooms may not be luxurious but they met my expectations, it's fantastic that they have a swimming pool, you can relax in the shade of a banana tree.

This is an ideal place for travellers who wants to be close to nature and far from noise and Şirince's day trippers. Mali, the hotel proprietor offered free trips to and from the village which I found a unique service provided to their guests. Highly recommended and a true value for money boutique hotel.

The hotel looks very gorgeous. Dinners and breakfast are quite good but the view from the room is quite disappointing. In the night all the fans from electronic devices are so loud that you get flashbacks from sleeping in the airplane.

The windows are made from paper and there was a wedding on the opposite side of the road. The base was echoing and shaking all the walls and it was difficult to sit in the room, not even thinking about sleeping. Also the WiFi works really poorly. But the food and the rooms were quite nice.

Went to Hitit only for lunch. It was a buffet, pretty large spread. It has a huge dining space to cater for tourist groups. The toilets were not well kept, could be because of the large groups of all nationalities, flooding it. I cannot understand why all restaurants Don't give water?? Cannot fathom this? Overall we had a good experience. We spent one night here after flying into ADB. The room we booked was very nice. The view was great! The only complaint was that the water did not get above luke-warm. Which was a bummer since we specifically booked the room with a big tub. We enjoyed our stay at Nea Efessos! We traveled in the low-season and felt at home amongst the staff. The rooms are clean, the amenities were comfortable, and you can't beat the view!
