Very friendly family-feel hotel. location is best of none. it's on a flat ground (avoiding dragging suitcase up hill). it's close to the busy centre of town but also is located on a quiet street. The bus station to Ephesus is just across the street. Some local supermarket on the back side of the bus/taxi park area.

We stayed 5 nights. Umut and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and lovely shower and yummy breakfast. The location is perfect if traveling on foot, close to bus stop, shops and restaurants. The local sites are close to the hotel. Easy day trip to Ephesus, Kusadasi and Sirince. Giving low rating due to 2 reasons: 1) bathrooms have transparent glass doors which are not suitable for families with children. 2) there was a problem with air-conditioning and only the person at reception could set temperature and fan speed. Everything else was fine.

EXTREMELY comfortable bed and a large room. I LOVED the view (mountain). This is an owner-run hotel and the owner speaks German, English and Turkish. Reception gave us valuable advice about what were going to do. The atmosphere at the hotel was very light and the interior chosen with love to detail. I spent very good time and felt well there.

Don’t let the exterior fool you when you drive up, behind it is a little oasis. My wife and I camped here one night and swam in the pool which was a perfect respite from the heat. They have a nice bar to get drinks from and the employees were very nice an accommodating.

A Turkish version of UK Travelodge/ Premier Inn. Cheap, clean and comfortable with a good variety of eateries locally and on site car parking. Breakfast buffet was good with a reasonable selection. Would stay again.

Clean rooms affordable price and nice stuff good location

The host is very knowledgeable and guided us well on what to visit during our short stay. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk into the main area of old Selcuk, close to many restaurants, shops, etc. Breakfast was good, consisting of a hard boiled egg, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, jams, and honey.

Our kids told us this was the best hotel we've EVER stayed in! They esp. liked the pool, Lokum the very cute westie and all the cats. Us grownups agree and also really valued the very pleasant staff who made us feel at home and gave great tips for the area and beyond. Highly recommended.

Perfect! The host is always there to recommend a good restaurant or dolmus route. The breakfast is simply absolutely decadent: bread, cheese, yoghurt, egg, fruit, veg, olives, cake... Much of it comes from the family's orchards and fields. Comfy rooms, quiet courtyard, nice pool.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Akai! The location is excellent, just within walking distance of the town. The staff service is incredible, they truly go the extra mile. Even when no taxis were available, they personally took us to the train station. The pool area and courtyard are beautiful and very relaxing, and the little dog Cookie brings so much joy to the place. I highly recommend!

This family run hotel was perfect for our trip to Selcuk. We had three small children and enjoyed the family room. The kids loved the pool and there were terraces so you could sit outside the room after the kids were asleep. You were walkable to lots of the sites. This is an ideal place for travellers who wants to be close to nature and far from noise and Şirince's day trippers. Mali, the hotel proprietor offered free trips to and from the village which I found a unique service provided to their guests. Highly recommended and a true value for money boutique hotel.

The hotel looks very gorgeous. Dinners and breakfast are quite good but the view from the room is quite disappointing. In the night all the fans from electronic devices are so loud that you get flashbacks from sleeping in the airplane.

The windows are made from paper and there was a wedding on the opposite side of the road. The base was echoing and shaking all the walls and it was difficult to sit in the room, not even thinking about sleeping. Also the WiFi works really poorly. But the food and the rooms were quite nice.

Went to Hitit only for lunch. It was a buffet, pretty large spread. It has a huge dining space to cater for tourist groups. The toilets were not well kept, could be because of the large groups of all nationalities, flooding it. I cannot understand why all restaurants Don't give water?? Cannot fathom this? In India the first thing we offer is water.

I like this hotel. There are lots of ridiculous reviews on here that make the hotel sound like a death trap. The rooms are clean the food is good. The staff of the hotel are kind and try to help any way they can. The only drawback for this hotel is that it is right across the street from a wedding venue and if there is a wedding party it is super loud and there is no chance you are likely to fall asleep...

It is a great Hotel. Diana is very nice and welcoming. They have a nice breakfast and the rooms are fully equipped. Is a couple of minutes away from the center and the efesus museum. The terrace has the best view, perfext for the sunset. Thank you Diana!

Owner is a great guy, rooms are fine and designed well. Everything met our expectations. I gave 4 stars only because of 2 reasons: I love dogs but the owner's dog is a little too much all over the place. Air conditioners are also quite old and they are positioned badly so you get the cold air blowing to your face when you sleep. Other than that, it was great and we will most likely choose here again...

Really nice place to stay in Ephesus. Triple roo.m was small but comfortable. Location was great. Staff were super friendly and their little daughter is adorable. Breakfast was really good. Only drawback was the WiFi. It never really worked properly for us when we were there, even though we asked for it to be restarted. Other than that, everything was great.

Overall we had a good experience. We spent one night here after flying into ADB. The room we booked was very nice. The view was great! The only complaint was that the water did not get above luke-warm. Which was a bummer since we specifically booked the room with a big tub. We enjoyed our stay at Nea Efessos! We traveled in the low-season and felt at home amongst the staff. The rooms are clean, the amenities were comfortable, and you can't beat the view! The hotel serves a traditional Turkish breakfast & the dinner menu is large (pasta, chicken, steak, pizza, etc) - despite other reviews stating dinner was not served at the hotel. I highly recommend!
