Dinler Hotels Urgup

Staying at this hotel was absolutely great; the rooms are big, fancy and really comfortable. The food is good enough; the hotel is located close to a lot of restaurants, local shops and is like 15 minutes to giren which is the most touristic place in the area.
I didn’t try the pool however it looks great, the common areas are beautiful.

Firstly, I would like to put a bad review for Ishamael (one of the waiters) who is completely racist towards East Asians. East Asians please beware of this racist filth. He followed us to charge us twice for bottled water and went out of his way to make it clear that he didn’t like us simply because we were Asian. Worst still we as a family from Taiwan were already walking on eggshells as the majority of their clientele were Eastern European who would murmur China and corona while insistently coughing when they’re near by. He did not allow us to change tables, whilst other people who are white are allowed to move and change seating as they please. Moving on to the rooms: all the rooms smell of smoke and urine which didn’t go away after a day. Also all rooms had non smoking signs which were not followed. The location was not bad near to the balloon the weather was dry and cooler at night these are the only positives.

A great location during one's vacation in Cappadocia. The room was large and the bathroom was clean. The staff were attentive to my concerns and the breakfast food was good.

Very nice hotel! The room was spacious and very clean. The only downfall is there isn’t a lot to do within walking distance.

As of beginning of 2024, Dinler Hotel is one of the best hotels I can recommend in Urgup. We had 3 nights there.
Hotel is currently going under a partial renovation and we stayed in an updated room which was neat and clean. Probably all rooms will be updated very soon.
Room service was keen to provide additional toilet papers, water bottles, shampoos, towels and shower gels upon our request.
Quality of the food was above average, everything we ate was telling us to eat it once again, appetizers were fresh and tasty, open buffet had many options including barbecues. Breakfast was fair enough but I wish they had fresh squeezed orange juice on breakfast. Unfortunately most of the 5 star hotels do not provide it other than a few internationally known brands.
Hotel had a safe in the room for peace in mind.
Personnel was welcoming the groups with snacks and Turkish cologne tradition, which clearly signifies how they care about hospitality.
Hotel is at walking distance to city centre around 1,2KM, there are 3-4 supermarkets nearby.
I have good memories sitting in front of fireplace.
Would I stay at Dinler hotel again? Yes!

Nice but old hotel. Great buffet dinner for vegetarians as well as carnivores. Breakfast is average. Rooms are spacious but bathrooms have maintenance problems. Jacuzzi in bathrooms do not work and bath tub leaks water on the floor(checked two rooms). A/C has low capacity as rooms do not cool enough on upper floors.
