Very friendly staff, room service 24/7 which was good for us because we had an early wake up for a safari trip. The breakfast was very good!

The breakfast is just heavenly…so unbelievably rich. Highly recommended 👍 I had a fish fillet for dinner, it was amazing but the baked potatoes wasn’t tasty at all☹️

Beware.. the link for the „ official hotel website“ takes you to a Nigerian based third party website which is not recognized by the hotel … make sure you go to the correct website to make a booking directly. When I emailed the hotel directly about this, they responded quickly and efficiently.

The brunch is really good but very limited options . Mainly local food . Not much an international menu . But service and drinks were great . The food is good quality and made well .

This hotel is in the city. Busy streets but quiet in my room. I watched the sunset between buildings. Good buffet breakfast. Beautiful mid-size swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent diversity of nice food. There was a flood in the room due to a clogged drain. But we've been quickly changed the room. There is a yoga class twice per week. This hotel is in two steps from historical museum and botanical garden, as well as from business center.

Very clean and welcoming. Staff are courteous and ready to help. It's a one stop place for all your needs during meetings, businesses and other related events. The food is African with a touch of Western cuisines, and it's well done. Try a mixture of orange and passion juice. The location is good.

Perfect services. I enjoyed the food at hyatt. The breakfast was the best. The pastries were a wide range. The location is perfect for the views of the ferry and the port. The gym, the sauna, swimming pool all completed the place. The rooms were magnificent. The best!

The restaurants available at Hyatt are high end and provide amazing privacy. The meals and drinks are just spectacular! Its a great place to have an intimate and well thought date. The level 8 bar has a breathtaking view, perfect for a calm night out.

Did not stay but went there twice in Jan 2023 (once for shooters tasting and then to attend a friend's function). Staff is extremely polite and attentive. Location is simply superb, looking over Indian ocean. Food also I found good. It's certainly one of the best places to stay in DAR...

Excellent choice if you need an upscale, amenities laden, central location for business . Staff is attentive, friendly and professional. There are several restaurant options and it is a convenient place to have meetings without venturing into the city center too often. If you’re looking for a quieter stay, like a family hotel with beach/ ocean views then this isn’t a good option.

The dinner was excellent - some of the best calamari I have ever had! The rooms were spacious, comfortable with everything you need.

Super friendly and professional staff... the cleanliness of the hotel. Extremely reliable wifi. Clean pool and beach area.. also good security. Ability to accomodate all my requests incl late check-in, in-prompt house keeping and room service.

Went to try out the food and facilities at the Ramada resort. The food was good but be warned it took about 1hr for it to arrive! Service is slow and somewhat confused at pool side. Personally I think they serving staff need to work in sections! Oscar tried his best but he was stretched.

We were there to meet for business. Nobody came to ask for drinks. Pool area is nice. Hotel is located at the beach.

Very good and worth the visit. Right at the beachfront with scenic views. Large well-maintained swimming pool at the beach. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great buffet and menu options. Really nothing to complain about here.

Place is reasonably good, but food variety is not one of their strengths. Some days there were not even butter in the breakfast buffet. Besides, the hotel is quite far from downtown, it takes at least half an hour and about 17,000 TZS in an Uber to get there. The area around the hotel is modest and not much to do or see around there. Staff are very friendly though and quite curtious.

Best resort in Dar es Salaam. Classy yet homely. Doesn't feel commercial or stiff. Great service. Management open for feedback. Food was good. Really beautiful place. Hygiene top notch and great entertainment.

Beautiful location and wonderful scenery. The menu is a bit wanting but the have great staff. The beach suffers from some pollution but still looks good. You can see the local fishermen coming in from the see and depending on the time of day you can also sight the ferry heading out to/in from zanzibar. They also have go karting

Location is great. Beach unfortunately suffers a bit from plastic pollution, but the staff do try and keep on top of this clearing it up. Rooms are comfortable. All beds have mosquito nets which are essential. Food is good and reasonably priced. We tried both buffet and the menu.

Superb place . Clean beach nice food. during the low tide you can walk almost a Kilo meter toward the sea through clean white sands. Hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and so many huts " mkuti" to stay for the day. Lots of rooms for a night stay, and near to the water park. Buffet Food is nice and worth. outside they have Go-Kart facility

The hotel got killer view, the kinda place you wanna go when you want to ne alone and reminisce about stuff. Apart from the view and a wonderful breeze, the only thing i liked when i was there was the receptionist kindness and charm.

Nice place for family to relax. 1 star less as they have 1 or 2 waiters attending your orders all over beach and pool area

The Hotel is now called ONOMO. Good service. Nice and clean rooms, although a bit on the small side. Overall good value for money.

I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dar. Situated in a serene peaceful environment and near the BRT terminal and Ferry. Can get a good view of the ocean from this hotel. The staff are amazing and food awesome. Shuttle services also provided. The conference facilities are top notch. Great value for money.

It is a very nice place where you can enjoy a nice meal, comfy room services and above all you will get the good customer services. While you are there, you will experience a nice atmosphere of the city. And for those who like the hotels surrounded by skyscrapers, this is one of the best option in the city. Visit there, prices are affordable in every way. Enjoy your time there.

Everyone talked to me about this renovated hotel. And I have to say that I was positively surprised. The room are confortable. The restaurant is good and service is really professional. Also their gym is superb and the swimming pool is so nice at night. Best hotel downtown for Business purposes.

It's a high end place but I wouldn't say the same for the service. The waiting takes a little longer than expected. The music was good. Not sure I'd go back though unless dragged to.

Clean and good rooms. Views not worth a mention. Almost no breakfast if you want anything healthy or vegetarian or fresh.

This was arranged by the guide group. Staff was rude upon arriving. Room was dirty. Not a safe area to go out and see anything. Would not recommend.

Very nice 3/4 star hotel, nice view of the sea from the breakfast restaurant. Amazing restaurant on the ground floor, has a casino in the lower ground flour, rooms are quite big.

My experience is ongoing and it's good. Personnel is fantastic! The view from the restaurant is wonderful.you see the port and the ferries that go to Zanzibar. On the same 9th floor you have a swimming pool! On the ground floor, many shops and a restaurant and an casino.

A Greta location near the ferry service. Several museums and parks close to visit. An excellent location if plan to travel to Zanzibar later. The ferry is faster than a flight.

Went here for an afternoon family gathering. Good place for family afternoon meals and extravaganza. Enough entertainment to keep your kids occupied and good buffet at a reasonable price. They also had live acrobatic and music performances. It does get a bit busy during holidays.

This was a great beach resort to visit we really enjoyed ourselves. Great food and great fun with an excellent setup.

We stayed 3 days here. The restaurant inside is the surely recommended. Both breakfast and dinner buffet is great and money worth. Also you can sit on the beach for meals. The backwards of the hotel is the facility, which seemed a bit old and some are not functioning well. Overall we had pretty good experience staying here.

Nice scenery, but a few things need to be addressed. The room I stayed in had a leaking toilet and no one was in a hurry to address the issue. Affordable rates, great entertainment over the weekend. Friendly staff. Good rates fo hotel overal. If you get a guest visiting you, there will be extra charges which are not stated upfront!!!

You get value for money by staying at this lovely location and it’s close to the tourist attraction points. The staff is very friendly and ready to be of service. The reason I’m only giving 3 stars, there is still a lot of improvement needed in the hospitality service level. a good hotel and you can using the swimming pool for only 10.000 tsh. It is located at Mbezi beach and can be easily reached by bajaj or private car,. It is not crowded like as nearby hotels during weekend so can can enjoy swimming while listen music from the dj. They also have a small pool for kids. Facility Parking lot swimming pool Bar and Restaurent Free Wifi in a room Playing area or kids

The hotel room was ok. Did not enjoy the food at all. The beach is dirty with a lot of litter, didn't enjoy the beach at all. The pool was clean and made up for the disappointing beach.

Amazing place with a beautiful view especially during a full moon! Staff go a mile beyond to make sure you receive the best service as well. Be it a a visit for a meal, an event, a birthday they are well catered with friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is very chic and calm making it a good choice for a date or meeting.

The view is beautiful, their staffs are also very warm & nice but they aren’t really fast for a 4 stars hotel. You have to wait so long for your meal. Their food is very basic and dry, didn’t enjoy my meal at all. It wasn’t an “over the moon”experience.

Loved my stay here. The hotel staff were superb. The bar/restaurant manager down by the pool deserves a raise. He's a fantastic guy that makes your time there enjoyable. Stayed with family and really enjoyed our memorable stay. We enjoyed the convenience that lots of beaches were easily accessible from this hotel. My kids loved the Coco beach though not well built but busy. Meals were fantastic and staff very helpful ad honest. Haven’t stayed here but I had couples of corporate meetings & events on 6th floor. Large, many rooms space for meetings plus breath taking sunset view. Love the desert, buffet at Marimba restaurant. Kudos for management for adding toilets for wheelchair users. Wheelchair accessibility friendly hotel, but not sure at the parking lot they reserve it.

After arrival we got a free room upgrade to a suite. The suite was clean and spacious. The hotel as such looks fine and there are a lot of little shops, restaurants and bars around it. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Good location with lovely sea view. Because the hotel has many facilities such as various markets, shops, restaurants, and bars, those who stay here don’t need to go out of the hotel. Good quality breakfast is served.

Nice hotel in a safe neighborhood In Oyster Bay, has a lovely view of the ocean and good food. Their is a boat repair shop next door that was a little noisy during the day but other than that it’s a fantastic hotel with loads of shops and restaurants you can go enjoy in the evening.

You get bang for your bucks. The views are amazing and the stay is affordable. Rooms are well equipped but the TV is a joke (Desktop monitor). Checking in experience was quick.

The place is amazing, perfect for a sunset. You can enjoy an ice cream as you watch the sun set,it's a beautiful scenery. The ambience is so relaxing. I highly recommend this place especially to those who need a place to relax and feel the breeze.

The room was good with the basic amenities. Nice swimming pool with a restaurant that serves pizza, fries, drinks, dessert. The location is quiet, picturesque, and great for a short stay. Breakfast is the usual, nothing exquisite, but okay. Overall a good stay. Parking is available for cars.

Beauty is what was seen with my eyes,I loved the place..It was a night dinner but still,i had the best experience. Went a second day,sat on the restaurant near the pool under the gym,the two waiters were very nice and had a smile on all times,the rest were male having arguments and being moody. Rather than that,i had a wonderful moment.

Brilliant views, lovely beach but sea a bit cluttered with rubbish. Buffet breakfast plenty of choice, lovely gardens, lunch is good, dinner lacks variety. You will eat your breakfast and lunch with the Craws, also swim with them in the pool. They can get a bit overwhelming. I enjoyed my stay there, early morning walk watch the sun rise 😎

We would a party of 18 and we just had dinner on the beach front. It was amazing. Whatever we asked for the waitress brought it. We had pre-ordered so a lot of our items were ready. It was a wonderful time… they also sing a birthday song and brought cake that we had ordered from outside. The stuff was exceptional.

A very family orientated hotel, lots of families enjoying the pools, there were still ample beach chairs away from the hustle and bustle as its such a large resort. Food is good and the service staff are attentive. I loved the stay here, I find it very peaceful and the rooms are cozy, staff are friendly esp grayson, lulu, salma, xaiver, alex, and Justin. Very welcoming smiling. Even the guards are very helpful. This place makes people feel more comfortable and gives a sense of peace. The cool ocean blue walk, the beaches are clean.

This hotel is not just a hotel for me. Many years back it was a home away from home for my hubby and I. The garden had a swing where we used to spend some few hours infrojt of the nice sea. Currently also the hotel ambience is really nice and soothing for the mind. The coffee is really nice. Nice view and very nice interior and service from staff too. Terrific Location and good service however rooms do barely deserve 3 stars. Breakfast has a decent spread however they need to change the dishes. Only one counter had dishes being different daily. Rest was all same. Have a lovely deck and garden to unwind by the sea.

Golden tulip dar city center is one of my best hotel when am in dar, on arrival got always a treat of a nice welcome drink served right during check in. cleanness of the room makes me keep coming back here. many thanks to the entire staff for making stay enjoyable as always.

The staff were always going extra mile making sure everything meets our expectations..always ready to help with genuine smile..we had free spacious room upgrade to the higher category with amazing view, delicious food with plenty of varieties. What a fabulous hotel! The rooms, the staff, the location... everything was superb. Thai restaurant on the top floor was closed and there was no draft beer (covid times) but still a wonderful stay.

We came here to spend an afternoon as we had a long layover in Dar Es Salaam. We were very pleasantly surprised by the kind, friendly and helpful manner of all the staff as well as the value of the food and drink in the restaurant. We had a barbecue steak for 12000 shillings which was very tasty. The pool area is beautiful and on a Wednesday evening the hotel hosts a Tanzanian food and music night...

I spent one day here very nice helpful and clean i left a charger when i checked out and they returned it when i came back very honest people.

Beautiful hotel located at the heart of the city of Dar es salaam and perfect for a holiday. It's opposite City mall and lots of local restaurants for easy shopping and access to food. Staff are very polite and friendly and rooms are so cozy and comfortable. Oh and the towels smell like cookies.

All staff were very polite and helpful. The chef cooks amazing food, and the location is fantastic, walking distance to two malls. The negatives- the loud music from the pool. If you don't like bass music, you will be miserable. The pool staff, will ignore requests to turn the music down, so they can party at the pool, and you will hear the music clear as day, up on the 10th floor.

Good accommodation, I have stayed here 4 times to date and Salma Hussein at the front desk was always helpful, efficient and ever so friendly. Thank you Salma for making my stay better.

The food is amazing! The chefs are expert at sea food. The ambiance is excellent with live bands on Sundays that part through the night. The waiters are attentive and well trained with the manager attending to each table at least once.

Beautiful hotel on the edge of the sea. Well designed rooms and comfortable service. The restaurant views are amazing. Only thing is that there is some construction ongoing which will definitely improve the hotel but they should advise visitors of this...however the construction doesn't interfere too much with the amenities.

A very good service in the resturanat very fast and they are all kind a very warm welcome, the steak is awesome, fish with chips is also very nice.

Nice hotel and tastefully decorated. The food in the restaurant was very good and the drinks were also of a high standard. The rooms were large and had a good shower. The beds were comfortable too.

My husband and I come to Tanzania frequently for work and we always have a difficult time finding a nice hotel that has hot water (even if the hotel advertises that they do have hot water, most of the time they don’t). Showers were amazing here! Restaurant has good food. Pool was incredible (water wasn’t cold). And the gym was very large. Internet speed was pretty good too.

An excellent hotel for any visitor to Dar. Helpful staff who go above and beyond to ensure an excellent stay. The gym and other facilities are second to none, and the Kalypso restaurant has fabulous food. Location wise, it's a short (10-15 minute) walk to the beach, and less to a range of shops. 20 min in a taxi to the rest of Dar, over the new bridge. Heartily recommended...

The hotel is in a convenient location. Has great view. If you are lucky, you even hear the peacocks singing in the afternoon time. Has a well equipped gym and a nice swimming pool. Breakfast items has healthy choices. Rooms are spacious and house cleaning staff are cordial. If you are in a budget, I suggest to stay in this hotel. Would go back again.

Decent hotel. Were able to give me a discounted rate to stay a little while as I came back from a business trip (after earlier staying about 4 night) about 6pm an had to be at the airport very early in the morning. They have a gym and as I undertand a number of people are signed up to use the gym even without staying at the hotel.

Cheap stay at the rate of 40$ with breakfast (was not that high end but considerable to some extent). Overall 5% additional charge will have to be paid if you use international credit card. It is actually all over Tanzania.

Its great so comfortable and the air-conditioning is on point. Many channels on tv especially indian channels. Very warm staff very nice breakfast and yummy. It's nice for both family and singles. Also the lift works very well.

Had a pleasant stay, safe and great staff that helped with lots of referrals for places to visit and also assisted in getting accommodation in Zanzibar.
