Sunset Kendwa Beach Hotel

This has to be one of the worst stays i had in a hotel and i was unfortunate enough that it was on my honeymoon. Terrible beach management, no hot water for 2 days, 3 days without a glass in the shower hence the unit flooding, no A/C, waiters ignoring guests or taking orders and never delivering them. But the worst of all was the service. No response at all at questions/inquieries (such as: when will the shower be fixed?) and to top it out they gave us broken chairs on the beach and when we pointed it out, they accussed us of breaking them! Ridicoulous! We were lucky enough that other guests step in to let the manager he was not right because he had lost his temper at us. If you are looking to have a good time / relax. Avoid at all cost!

Facilities are dated but We had a problem with one of the overpriced dishes at the restaurant. We complained immediately to the waiter and then to the head waiter, who told us to inform the restaurant manager at the end of the meal (she would not come to us). The waiter then lied to the manager saying we ate the whole meal before raising a complaint. The manager shouted at us, accused us of lying and told us she "did not care" and "to leave". This was the worst customer service experience we ever had. We were so incredulous at her aggression that we started filming her. The hotel manager had gone home so we had to wait to check out the next morning to speak to her. When we asked for her name (Aaliyah) she initially refused, shouted at us and threatened us with security. We were shocked by her aggression and unprofessionalism. Do not stay at this hotel.

Although it is considered great hotel it is known to scam the guests on every corner. If you pay by card they charge you 3% commission but they can charge you up to 30% on smaller amounts. The waiters (especially male ones) do not give bills and calculate by hand and try to charge you extra all the time. If you go on vacation here you will not relax since you have to calculate all the time if and how much they try to steal from you all the time. And if you ask for manager they are never on site to put a complaint. 2 stars i give only because i had only one day when i felt like i am on vacation!
