Great place let down by seriously flawed management.

Pros
- great location
- great pool
- good cocktails
- decent breakfast

Cons
- management (the Amaan family) are clearly not investing enough into the upkeep of this place. Holes in the mosquito nets, rickety beds etc
- lovely staff but let down by poor training
- overall the food is quite bad, especially lunch and dinner, would recommend eating elsewhere
- the attitude of management is not one that appears to put either the client or employees first, but instead appears to want to suck out all the money they make

If I could rate this place a zero I would. We arrived in a large travel group, no one greeted us, they just stared as if we were from another place. No welcome whatsoever. The staff that helped us to our room wasn’t knowledgeable of where our room was, so we made an unnecessary trip around the bungalows only to find our room right behind the reception office. Maybe he was new, but still was not friendly. The room was absolutely horrible. The ceiling fan was dirty, refrigerator smelled and there was mold in it, our sheets had a cigarette burn in them, the mosquito net around the bed had a couple bug splatters on them. There were no bath towels in the bathroom, I went to the front desk to ask for some and was given large towels and was told to come back tomorrow morning for the face towels. The hot water did not work, the shower head was filthy, rusted and the pressure was very low. The lack of customer service really upset me because the entire staff simply did not care. This was supposed to be a four night stay, however we will be checking out tomorrow. We would’ve never stayed at all if we’d arrived on our flight sooner. Please beware of this place. The recent good reviews appear to be fake.
