The perfect place for an authentic Zanzibar experience!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and were more than happy with our experience!

The food is delicious, the rooms are very spacious and the staff are super friendly. This small, typical hotel is located in an authentic village, with a private beach just a 1-minute walk away. This may seem surprising at first glance, but in reality the place is more than safe and the villagers are exceptionally friendly.

A special mention to Frank, the manager, and Mada and Tudor, the owners, who were absolutely adorable. Thank you for all your advice, anecdotes and 10/10 service. Having you on a daily basis was a real pleasure!

My stay at Zan View Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a hilltop above the charming fishermen's village of Kairo, this hotel offers breathtaking views and a true Zanzibari experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the pristine white sands of Kiwengwa Beach.

The staff at Zan View Hotel are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every need is met with a smile. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the private balcony with its stunning ocean views.

The hotel's commitment to sustainability is commendable, with fresh local seafood and produce featured in their delicious meals. Dining at the restaurant and beach bar was a highlight, with a variety of international and local dishes that tantalized my taste buds.

The amenities are top-notch, from the refreshing outdoor pool to the free high-speed WiFi. Whether you're lounging by the pool, exploring the nearby attractions, or simply soaking in the serene environment, Zan View Hotel ensures a memorable stay.

I had an incredible stay at Zan View Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome made me feel right at home. The room was immaculate, with stunning views and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel's restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious cuisine, and the attentive service made dining a delight. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the local attractions. I can't wait to return to this exceptional hotel on my next visit!

Virginia and her staff are amazing! so accommodating and kind. The beds were comfy. the food was great, i could've eaten the chicken curry for every meal. It's not waterfront, although you can see the ocean. it's a 2 min walk through the village to the shorefront bar. Locals were friendly and not pushy when it came to selling their wares and tours. The low tide goes out you can wander to find starfish.

Our stay at Zan View Hotel was great! It is a real experience to live in this hotel! It s not on the beach, but even so it s a 2 min walk through local village! Good Luck and his team did everything to make us feel welcome! The food in the restaurant was great, and if you have any special requests the chef is willing to accomplish your wishes!
And, not to forget, it was spotless clean with great wi fi, which is kind of rare in Zanzibar!
So, thank you again Good Luck and Zan View Team for our great stay in Kiwengwa!

Our stay at zan vie hotel was excellent!!! The hotel is located on one of the best beaches of the island. The rooms are always clean, the food excellent, the staff always smiling and willing to serve. It is a small hotel with a local character, quiet, family and with a magnificent view. At the beach bar you can enjoy the nicest cocktails as well as food by the sea. Virginia and Ilias, thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality.
