What a wonderful experience I had working with Catering Manager, Clem Pascarella! He helped coordinate and put together my birthday dinner at the hotel. He kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. When he told me everything was going to be fine and be great...trust what he says! He's a man of his word. Clem was just a pleasure to work with and I couldn't have had a better place to have my birthday dinner party! My guests and I had a delicious buffet, desserts with an open bar and just the best staff ever! They were all amazing!! I appreciate all the time and effort that went in to making this a success. Couldn't have done this without Clem!! He's just THE BEST!!

I haven’t even checked into our room and I already know I would never stay here again. The front desk staff is extremely rude. I asked if there was a business center space where I could take a work call quietly and the lady at the front desk looked at me and bluntly said, “no, you book private space through our events team.” I was then approached by security to ask if I was staying here because I was standing in the lobby waiting on my husband to park our car. When we did check in, they acted like it was an inconvenience to be here.

Great! Hotel, very friendly staff. The restaurant/bar is very popular, but they need more salad options, and take the blanched tomatoes out of the caesar salad, and have more simple food options on the menu, like (Tuna Sandwiches, BLT, and Hot dogs, and Italian Cold Cuts)

I was very fortunate to have a good experience. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Soft pillows. Great shower. Location is in a nice area of downtown within easy walking distance for coffee, restaurants, pharmacies and other shops. Fridge and safe in room. Big plus is access to YMCA classes and gym on site. Trey at the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful, as was Addison P. In the lobby. Recommend.

This hotel was awesome! Very relaxing. Even though it looks upscale it didn't feel like it was. Everything was so clean throughout the hotel. We ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Food was excellent. Conveniently located within walking distance of everything.

We stayed here for my friend's birthday weekend. I really enjoyed my stay. I like that this place is located in the very center of the city. We stayed on the executive floor so the view was amazing. Kudos to the executive room with snacks and drinks left in it. Super grip!!! Will definitely return when visiting the city.

I was delighted with the service I experienced at the hotel. We had breakfast in the restaurant and I thought the manager, Mr. Stephen, was the nicest. Not only that, it provided the level of service you would expect from 5 star restaurants. I mean my whole family was thrilled! The bed was very comfortable, my room was clean, and the front desk was as helpful as possible. We will be returning to Charlotte in August and will definitely stay here again.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your stay. They compare thousands of booking sites and usually have prices much cheaper than others! Please :)! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days, you will definitely not be let down. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Plus, the location was great for quickly getting anywhere when we were in town on business. I would like to stay here again.

Every hotel staff member that I encountered was extremely professional and courteous. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to lots and varied attractions.
Though initially aesthetically appealing to the eye, the hotel rooms are outdated.
The bathtub looks like a kiddie tub. There is an apparent problem with the tub draining in the room that I stayed, after showering the water took about 5 - 10 minutes to drain. There also appeared to be mold in the shower/tub and in a vent above the tub. I'm sensitive to mold/mildew and that is the smell that greeted me when getting off of the elevator.
Another disadvantage for me was the hotel not having its own exercise facility. The Y is made available to guests, but on Sundays, it closes at 6 p.m., whereas a hotel owned exercise room would be available to guest a bit past 6 p.m. I would think.
Attention to detail makes all the difference.
