I've lived here for many years. If you stay a few nights, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Now this is a hotel!! Our room was a Jack and Jill room which was a living/living room, bedroom and two bathrooms

That's $25 a day, which isn't the end of the world considering inflation and how much parking costs in New York or Boston! Last but not least is the 9 minute walk to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

There are 6 elevators, quiet floors, and it’s very well marked for where to go. Rooms are very clean, it’s quiet, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. JP Charlotte is downstairs and is very good

I stayed here with my boyfriend for an overnight trip. Cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen. The housekeeping staff definitely do their jobs well. Super appreciative of them of doing such a great job

The Westin in downtown Charlotte, a great place to stay. With the light rail just a few feet away. Convenient location, attractions aplenty, Restaurants and shops, all within easy reach

It is in a great location within walking distance to the Charlotte Hornets stadium if you don't mind a little hike and lots of restaurants to try. Staff was exceptional and always willing to help

Nice spot right in the middle of things. M lounge was well stocked for breakfast snacks and dessert. The gym was well equipped with plenty of treadmills, free weights and a room for spinning

We did not use the restaurant but it looked nice and had a good menu

You have to Valet your car and you only pay one time which we really liked. If you don't want to valet there are some parking decks close by. The temperature in the room was just not wanting to cooperate

The street down below is so loud. Loud cars revving and fire trucks. I stayed in a hotel in Downtown Detroit they was near the people mover. It’s an elevated train that runs

The room had a small white noise machine that you could run during the night to cut down on street noise. These rooms would benefit from this 100 percent

Service at brunch was excellent (thanks Matt!) and the rooftop pool and bar are so much fun. Definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic location and property with an amazingly warm and accommodating staff. We got everything we expected (and perhaps more!) from the JW; we are lucky to have this gem so close to home!

They were working so hard to keep everyone at the hotel pleased, and any employee you could genuinely tell they were trying really hard to please their guests

Nice hotel but totally unprepared to be opened. Lack of people working. No ice machine on each floor. Great location. Hopefully will get better in a few months.

Pool has a great view, but be aware the rooftop area (encompasing the pool) can be rented out. Beautiful rooms, good views, and good customer service

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. The staff was amazing- JJ, Luke, and the other front desk staff went over and above when we arrived to find their pool closed (and had 2 very disappointed kids)

Roof top pool and hot tub offer a chance to relax amongst the skyscrapers of uptown Charlotte. Rooms were decent sized, beds are super comfortable and check in process was a breeze

The location was situated right in the heart of the city so it was easy to walk to a lot of different hotspots. That being said it can also be a little noisy on Saturday night but nothing you can't sleep through

I came last weekend for my cousins wedding. ,The hotel is in a good location and the staff was nice and the wedding was on the top floor. The van driver Marlow took us to the park so we could take pictures

Absolutely enjoyed staying here. Only complaints would be the parking situation (you have to walk a bit unless you get valet), the lack of fan in the bathroom, and the lack of a complementary breakfast

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Location was great. Common areas were beautiful and my room superceded my expectations. Stay in a King Executive. Perfect relaxing and/or entertaining in living room area.

We stayed at the Renaissance South Park and were pleased with the accommodations overall. Initially, there was some confusion during check-in regarding our Titanium Elite benefits

Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, pillows leave a bit to be desired but they aren’t a deal breaker. Great spread of snacks in the lounge. Hotel is older but well kept and the staff were all friendly and helpful

Stayed here to attend a conference within the hotel. My room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and modern. The bathroom was great, with a large walk-in shower and powerful hot water. All staff were friendly & helpful

Her energy and warmth were greatly appreciated and made the overall stay very enjoyable. I also want to mention the club lounge attendant. She was full of life and smiles 😃 she made my family's morning!

As loyal members, we usually receive complimentary upgrades, including balconies, but were told we’d need to pay an additional $50 for one. This was not the experience we’re accustomed to

Front desk employees were polite, friendly, and efficient. Beautiful lobby, bar/restaurant, health club, and swimming pool. Walking distance to specialty shops, restaurants, and South Park mall.

The exterior appearance of this Marriott property does not do the interior justice! The rooms were recently renovated in conformance with Marriott's new direction in terms of style and things turned out very well

The new fixtures and fittings are top notch and the rooms have a comfortable (though not overbearing) southern feel. The new M Club Lounge is good, though a bit small (and thus sometimes quite busy / full)

Very nice hotel, flawlessly renovated. Love the large modern rooms with hardwood flooring and large HD TVs. Lobby area is comfortable and services are very nice with kind and helpful staff.

Very nice Marriott with updated rooms and nice amenities. Convenient to the mall and other shops. The best Marriott in the area. Definitely will return to this location.

I liked the fact that parking was free and plentiful

Room was very spacious and clean. Loved the breakfast. Buy the breakfast with the room rather than separate if there's more than one of you as it is a lot cheaper that way.

Half the lobby is tented in plastic and rooms, although newly refurbished have punch-list items that need attention. Also, hot water was not always available without a wait (sometimes 20 minutes or more)

So ongoing construction/ remodeling has one of the three elevators permanently tied up. The gym is closed for renovation but we could use the Hampton Inn's (in and adjacent building)

The staff however, dispite having to deal with all the above, and more, was friendly, accommodating and never once lost their composure, despite all the challenges

No vending machine on our floor but the pantry in the lobby was open after midnight and they have some beer and wine selections, soda and snacks

Heavy smell of pot on the first couple floors, but above 4 it seemed to dissipate. Maybe it's construction smells? Glad I was up higher though

the staff is great any questions any demand they made it happend the hotel is super clean …even I had a day at spa apoimenr they lady’s were great but there was smelling gas very very strong…aparantly was a city problem

but still was unstable and they did hit evacuate the problem aria’s

The gym was clean the pool inside outside a little small but great for kids. All interactions with staff was met with a smile no matter what time Day or night I also saw some dogs to All in All its a place to be

I rate this Inn a 5 star average. Rooms were nice, staff were nice and knowledgeable. Although, someone else name was on the welcome home paper on the bed. But I assumed the room was probably reserved for someone else

It does stop there in the evening they have a snack this isnt a snack its a full meal from soup to entree. Everything to make a meal over by 7 but if you have kids its perfect and you get 2 adult drinks per night

They compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for years

If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! We have been several times in this hotel for my son's soccer tournaments. The reception is always friendly and smiling

From what i understand Drury Inn&Suites all do this free breakfast not what you not even close some places that say free this breakfast was everything you could ask for hot or cold

My boyfriend & I stayed at this hotel for a night & I must say that the room was beautiful. Bathroom very small but besides that, everything was perfect. Its also lots of restaurants near by

The front desk staff weren't very cheerful or welcoming, just rattling off the prepared lines. My room was clean at first glance, but when you got to looking it wasnt all that clean

Even the China buffet is in walking distance! Everything was great. Carolyn & Rattif (forgive me if I spelled their names incorrectly) were very nice & pleasant as well. I will DEFINITELY make a return in the near future

Extemely pleasent experience. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast was very good. The price was very reasonable and the hotel is in a safe location with several surrounding restaurants.

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are a decent size, clean, and decor was nice. We had a wedding and the hotel provided a shuttle which was super helpful!

We got a complimentary upgrade to the executive room that came with free breakfast and appetizers! Room was clean with a large fridge, microwave and comfortable bed

The rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel did not have a pool, which was very disappointing. The area where we checked in was hot. I'm sorry she had to endure the heat due to air conditioning issues

The bedroom was typically DoubleTree standards, clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The breakfast was superb, hot and cold breakfast , good layout, large variety, also available cook to orders

Place is in a great spot with lots of walkable restaurants, bars, and grocery store in the same parking area. James at the front was very friendly and even asked which floor we would prefer

Pool is super small and was busy but we did get to enjoy when it got a little less busy. Salt water which is my preference. Towels were gone but I understand that they were busy

This is one of the best hotels around. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Food, shopping and a place for the children to run and play! The staff is readily available

great location, very clean, good bed and pillows. everything you want really. gym and pool as well and breakfast. would recommend red eye diner nearby. amazing and cheep! and the room almost has a kitchen, (no oven).

We also eyeballed the rooftop pool, which looked awesome but a little too cold outside to take a dip

If you love southern hospitality then this is the temporary stay for you! I don't remember the younger lady at the front desk name, however, her kindness and attentiveness were unmatched to any experience I've had yet staying overnight somewhere

Great place to stay!! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean and there is a 24 hour Gym. Parking can be a little tricky in the area but the hotel does offer parking for $26

It’s centrally located in the downtown area, with loads of shopping and food nearby. Great for business travel, as it is very close off the interstate. The food service and lobby area are very chic

Hotel staff were also courteous and welcoming, making sure to get us swiftly in our beds after checking in late at night. Don’t second guess yourself on this hotel, 10/10 recommend

I am a business traveler that frequents the Charlotte area. I stay here because the rooms are clean beds are big and soft and the in house food is inexpensive and good

Add to this the helpful staff and that's why I call this hotel my home away from home. This hotel is a perfect mix of affordable with all the amenities I have come to expect

A pretty ordinary three star kind of place as of February 2018, but you can see that management is working hard to upgrade and improve it. Special shout-out to April on the front desk, whose work is outstanding

High quality for a great price. These are probably some of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed at. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was great.

The entire staff was amazing and EXTREMELY accommodating through out our entire stay. The food prepared at the bistro was prepared to perfection. The room was clean and well maintained

We came in late in the evening but were surprised to see a full bar available in the lobby that was rather chic and not seedy. Board games are available for guests in the lobby common area as well

We just stayed here with our daughter's soccer team during a tournament. It's new, so there were kinks to be worked out with the group reservations

The staff did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed the stay (even hosted a pizza party for our girls and decorated - so nice!)

The location is amazing - walking distance to food and grocery and only 15 minutes to the soccer fields. We will be staying here again

The majority of the staff that I met did not wear a mask despite the mandatory mask requirement in Mecklenburg county. But the rooms were new and comfortable

However if you are VOC sensitive you may want to wait since the hotel is very new

This hotel is beautiful and decorated in the modern style. The hotel room layout is smart and efficient. The bathroom is separated from the shower room which is great for big families staying together

Stayed a Friday and a Saturday night. Super clean, air conditioner works great. I agree with some reviews that talk about the tiny pool and the odd layout of the rooms, but it is still a great place

Be careful washing your hair if tall because water will splash out over the glass onto the floor. Try to get here before dark because it is a little tricky to navigate if you never been

Staff was awesome! My only inconveniences were the lack of an ice machine- The front desk guy filled my cup, but I didn't go back to ask again. It's undersized for the size of the room

There is a very functional work desk area that can be screened off from the sleeping area if both things need to happen simultaneously

The fitness center is small too, but the treadmills worked great. We went to Carowinds and booked this room because it is very close

Trendy room, smart TV that plays your music, view of the park out my window, super friendly staff, and convenient shuttle that will take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. Continental breakfast was a good variety

I stay here regularly when I travel to Charlotte for business. I'm never disappointed with the staff or the hotel itself. The amenities speak for themselves, the bar, restaurant, and Lobby are immaculate

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Charlotte for significantly less money then any other similar hotel. The free shuttle to and from the convention center was awesome

Great location and friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is near all of the amenities that South Park offers. The beds are what you expect from Marriott standards along with the cleanliness.

I found out that this hotel offered an American Girl package, so we decided to stay the night. Our stay was GREAT! The hotel itself was clean, pretty, and quiet, and the staff was attentive and helpful

The staff was helpful with our wedding about breakfast and even have us an extra breakfast coupon for Grandma & Grandpa who were traveling with us. The breakfast food in the Bistro was very yummy too

We purchased the American Girl package at the Courtyard and couldn't be more pleased. We were greeted by a friendly face at the desk who informed me that the room was all ready for us

Good location that's close to the shopping mall and isn't a far drive into other parts of Charlotte. The room was clean and a perfect temperature, would stay here again

The package was an excellent choice--the little "extras" made our girls feel very special! We will definitely stay here the next time we're in town! :)
