We were not satisfied with our room when we first arrived but the staff was accommodating and allowed us look at a different room to see if we would like to switch. Besides that, check in was easy, the staff was friendly and the hotel is located in a very convenient area. It's a block over from the beach and very close to restaurants, bars, and water excursions. The hotel could use a few updates (they informed us that they are in the process as well) but it's cute and comfy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Clearwater!

It's a nice place and with a few little touches it could be a great place. The pool needs to be painted but the main problem is the water is not clear. I've seen a few comments about this and the thing is with a call to a pool maintenance company it would be solved in no time. No excuses in waiting for that. I understand the painting needs to be planned. New AC for the rooms, they are very old and very very noisy. And the sofa bed mattress was horrible, my poor kids, not sure how they slept with all the springs. We still enjoyed this place and found it very charming. If these things could be fixed we would return for sure

Self service rooms walking distance from the ocean and downtown Clearwater Beach. You book, you are provided with instructions and a door access code and a check out time. Simple, hassle-free. Room 21 is good, with a sofa bed, TV and bathroom access. Shower stall is small but does the job. TV's and A/C worked good, no problems. Parking is easy, but we went during the slow season (weekdays after Labor Day) and it shows. Zero crowds and Zero hassles. Afternoon thunderstorms are common. Best time to visit Clearwater hands down!! Avoid the weekends and snowbird season at all costs. 5/5

This was a surprisingly great little converted motel. The rooms are cozy happy we got the bigger room instead of the smaller room. Location is fantastic. Super close to the beach and to the Clearwater Beach downtown area. the hosts were over the top great and very willing to jump in to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Will absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here with 2 children. Overall it's worth the price. We had no issues with parking, very close to the beach, and it was a nice quiet area. We stayed in the 4 person suite and the bed was comfortable! Housekeeping supplied us with fresh towels everyday. The room was moderately clean, the pool was okay but overall we had a great stay!! They even had beach supplies located by the pool for us.

Very clean Hotel with amazing beds for totally restful sleep! All was very very clean! Washing possibilities with washing Maschine plus dryer. Cleaning products in bathroom all organic and vegan. Smelled amazing! Pool outside was super clean and location itself a bit out of the loud and crazy Mandalay ave but easy to reach by foot or car (approx 5-8min by foot). Beach can be reached in 2-4min easily! Hotel offers daily free coffee at the reception. Great taste!!! Parking spots for hotel guests directly in front of the room. Price reasonable for the feeling and relaxation. Always again.

Overall we had a reasonable stay. We booked the day before arriving and didn't get any instructions until we landed. Parking is very limited although we didn't have any issue parking.
Reception closes at 8pm. We arrived at 8:30pm. The instructions were very clear and it was easy to self-check in. The room was nice, spacious with a large, comfortable bed. It was missing some things I'd expect in any hotel room like a safe. It had a small kitchenette area with fridge and microwave but not much else.
I did speak to reception twice, I was never asked if everything was OK and nothing was said when I checked out.
The location is at the very top end of Clearwater, a short walk from the bars and restaurants. It's very close to the beach. The hotels around this area are expensive.
Whilst I didn't hate the hotel I wouldn't stay here again.

Fabulous location. The room we had was quite small, but we managed. Soundproofing with room above wasn't great. Could clearly hear them moving around and even a guy yawning! Not sure the owners can do much about that. Very clean rooms and pool area well maintained.

There is not enough good things I can say on this hotel. We have never seen or heard of Hotel Cabana prior to booking a 5 day trip to Clearwater Beach. Upon arriving we realized that we were steps away from what we referred to later as “The Strip”.
Pros:
- Great location: walking distance to tons of bars and restaurants (a little over 1.0 mile to the round about that directs you to the south side)
- Room was very clean (book a vacation rental with a kitchenette! Completely upgraded located off Somerset)
- Multiple heated pools
- Hotel was designed just like you were staying at a Love Island pool! Beautiful patio furniture
- Daily laundry: No contact replacement where you place dirty towels outdoor in laundry bin and they replace with fresh linens and new toiletries
- Coin operated washing machine and dryer located by pool
- Main pool blocked wind on cooler sunny days but still felt much warmer than if we didn’t have the walls
- No contact check in and check out
- Very safe area and very super property!
- Staff was very friendly to us
