Sheraton Sand Key Resort

Really nice place with the friendliest staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful and just great people. Some might complain about the walk down to the beach, but I personally loved it. Great exercise. They do offer a golf cart lift if you need it. We will be back.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10 Wedding Anniversary in Clearwater and stayed here at the Sheraton. I was very impressed with the facility. It was very upscale and offered a great deal of amenities. The photos on the website does not do this place justice......it is amazing!!!! The staff was made aware of our anniversary prior to our arrival, we were surprised with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne inside of our room. Everyone was extremely nice and we had an opportunity to dine at every restaurant and would highly recommend Rusty's as well as the others. The pool area was also wonderful and we'll kept. Our room was phenomenal and clean!!!! I plan to return to this location again!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

From the moment we got there to the moment we left, we had a great time! The staff was always polite and accommodating. Guy with the Bell Service deserves rave compliments. Everyone in the Tavern was attentive and professional. The resort has many amenities to choose from (beach volleyball, tennis, pickle ball, kids beach toys and games). Walking distance to great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Plus, a quick trolley ride to even more (included by showing your room key).

Check in was very easy, but not very fast, because there was a line of people. There was no fee for parking! My room was a standard 2 queen bed (room 208, had no view and was right next to some kind of employee room where they cycled in and out, so it was noisy). The room appeared clean. The beds were a little firm, but had four pillows on each bed. There was a little table and two dining chairs that was functional. A lounging chair would have been nice. The bathroom was clean, but tiny.
The pool was nice and ADA compliant. They offered complimentary towels and water. The fire pit was nice to have in the evenings! The beach was a bit of a trek, but sometimes they did have someone carting people to and from the beach.
Both of the restaurants had yummy food, especially Mainstay Tavern, their fries were so great! I enjoyed breakfast at Rusty’s Bistro.
I would stay here again!

I attended the Sheraton Sand Key Resort as part of a conference. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The amenities are wonderful – there is a huge, heated pool, plenty of seating, hammocks, hot tub, fitness center and fire pit. The staff were very accommodating. A free trolley stops outside the resort every half hour to take you around Clearwater. The beach was excellent for seashells. There were three restaurants and room service available, and all the food was good. The rooms were cleaned every day and the soaps and shampoos were full sized bottles. The vibe was very friendly, you could find someone to talk to by the pool or fire pit. I would recommend it highly.

Nice hotel for a family with the kids. We had a great time. Private beach access has a great sunset view. Pool could have been bigger but we did not feel any space crunch and had fun. There is a mini bar by the pool and cocktails by the buckets were not bad ;). They have a few beach volleyball courts, Tennis courts, Pickle-ball courts and soccer goal nets. Overall a great place for a group, with plenty of fun activities to choose from. Also the people at the front desks were nice. There was just one point when a lady at the desk told me that I paid by the points so people who paid by the money gets preference and they got all the rooms with views booked for the night. We had specifically booked an ocean facing room by putting more points. I just did not argue by saying that I also had to earn these points as I was looking forward to a great time. Not sure if that is Marriotts official stand though with respect to the points vs money. Great property though. Family had a good time.

Nice resort with a private beach, swimming pool, gym, etc. They have a shuttle service that will take you over to Clearwater Beach where all of the shops, restaurants, etc are located free of charge. The staff has been friendly and helpful. I was here for a meeting with about 200 other people. Beautiful place to watch the sunsets.
