Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

Perfect 5 out of 5. I don’t think I can give any compliments that haven’t already been said. Beautiful room and views. Attentive staff. Location is phenomenal. I’ve seen some people complain about traffic but how is that a property problem? The air conditioning was power was amazing. I traveled in May and it kept the room frosty. Can’t wait to go back!

We were there at the end of April, beginning of May and we were there for 6 nights. The stay was great, we loved every moment of it. All staff members were courteous, professional and always ready to help. It was our 3rd stay at Wyndham, and we'll be back for sure. We had an awkward moment though, when we checked in, it was 3 of us, all adults and we rented 2 rooms, and only one received a welcome complimentary drink even though we were asked what would like to have. Overall we loved our trip, we had great time. Thank you! Maria

Luxurious hotel. Impecable customer service, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff to the pool staff, all were warm and go above and beyond to make us feel pampered. The complimentary drinks at the front desk cool you down after sitting in the sun or after a shopping spree in Surf Style. Situated perfectly on Clearwater Beach, as everything is a short walk- including the boat tours. Beautiful beach view from our ocean front room. Great place for families. Wonderful spa in the hotel.

I loved this hotel! I was part of the timeshare side of the hotel and I had a great time. Pool and hot tub was clean at all times. The bar food was amazing!!! All of the servers at the pool/bar were very kind and friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very clean. The staff of the hotel was very accommodating at all times and very sweet and kind. Connie helped me and my fiancé get early pool access while we waited for his parents to arrive and we were thankful for that! She was very helpful! The hotel is within walking distance to a lot of very good restaurants and activities. We also did a couples massage and the spa was absolutely amazing and relaxing. I just got home and I’m already missing it!!! Can’t wait to go back.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The place was clean and modern. They were a bit small for a family of four though. Every employee was friendly and welcoming. The location is great with many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. We loved that the beach chairs were always available and no shortage of those. That process and the ease of getting one is to be commended. We fully expected to have to go claim them early and that is not necessary unless you want one in the first row. The complimentary towel process was a breeze and made going to the beach or pool all the easier. The pool area was nice but too small, a bigger pool and more shaded seating would have been preferred but overall it was a good experience with the pool. The resort pool bar was great, the food was outstanding as were the various frozen drinks, etc. i just think they should stay open later and have some live music at night, I think this is an opportunity being missed by the resort. Overall, this was better that expected and we hope to return in the future! :)

We had an amazing stay at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater which we booked through British Airways Holidays.

Check in was very professional and the guy who looked after us gave us some welcome drink vouchers and remembered our name throughout the stay.

Our room was lovely with views of the beach and pier, it was cleaned every day and we had fresh water and chocolates brought to our room each evening. The room we chose had a king sized bed and bunk beds, plenty of space. Quiet as well so you could get a good nights sleep.

Facilities were excellent and we made regular use of the bakery and the bar, we didn’t get to use the pool as it was very busy and also due to the heat, we did have some rain showers.

Valet parking is the only option here at $35 per day, on top of that you need to pay a resort charge of $35 per day but the day represented excellent value for money.

Our only gripe was that the concierge and various members of staff were trying to get us to go to the welcome reception which forms part of the owners/time share facility. They didn’t like no for an answer and we did hear various reports that the 90 minutes took much longer and they used pushy sales tactics, bear in mind that this came from other people and is not based on our own experience.

We would, without a doubt, use this hotel again in the future.

An absolutely amazing hotel! From check in to check out, everything was outstanding. The staff is fantastic, as are the valet parking staff, very friendly and keen to assist, always with a smile and remembering you when you return to the hotel each evening. The grounds and hotel are spotless, our room was spacious and has everything we required. Turndown each night was super, fresh bottled water and chocolates, but no pressure if you didn’t want them to enter your room. The hotel was also quiet as night which enabled a good nights sleep, great blackout curtains for those that want to head to bed early or those who want to sleep in, and super comfy beds! Absolutely perfect! We will be staying again at our earliest opportunity!
