As always on top! Enjoyed a glass of fabulous wine in the ship's tavern this afternoon. Excellent service provided by the delightful Miss Hunter. I live in Littleton and decided to spend this beautiful day downtown. First visit/stay in his amazing place was at 5 years old. We were flying from the East Coast to Denver for my dad's business. I won't tell you how "young" I am, suffice it to say that this gem of Denver hasn't changed one bit. Please continue to keep the ship afloat.

For Marriott Elite members, this is one of the best Marriott stays we've ever had. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, great amenities and the location was quite central. We even did afternoon tea which was brilliant, great service and plenty of it. We came from the Renaissance Downtown Hotel, another Marriott hotel that I thought was better located but dwarfed by the Brown Palace. We will stay here in the future after our experience. The only negative I would say is that there are only 2 elevators, one of which wasn't working at the time, so getting up and down to the room was more of a nuisance, but not enough to warrant me taking a star.

This is a beautiful nostalgic hotel built in 1892. I'm here and the Christmas decor has been done and it's beautiful! My room is clean and beautiful.. I asked for a room with a bath and it has a beautiful marble bathroom with a large bathtub. I highly recommend while staying in Denver.. very close to good shopping.

I haven’t stayed here but when I come to CO to visit my grandparents my grandmother and I love to come here for tea time and to just wander. The building is historical and very clean and the staff is just going above and beyond to to help you feel seen and accommodated. The tea time is simple and fancy enough that it is worth the price per person. I enjoyed the tea and the selections they offered and there was gentle music playing last time we visited. They offer valet parking which I recommend to anyone wearing heels or traveling with someone who cannot comfortably walk long distances. There’s plenty to look at and overall it’s just a lovely time if you’re looking for something different to do

If you can't afford to stay at the hotel or it's booked, I highly recommend planning a day here! We started with some afternoon tea -no complaints. We then spent some time catching up in the lounge area which was comfortable and not too loud. Afterwards, we took a tour around the hotel. Our tour guide was Debra and she was fantastic! Her energy and knowledge about the hotel is impressive (she deserves a raise). Next we got our nails done in the spa. We had a great experience with the staff but the nail area itself wasn't all that impressive. Don't get me wrong, everything was clean and organized, just not much different than a typical nail salon. If I had one true complaint it would be the Marriott vibes tainting the historical aspect of the hotel. The history of the Brown Palace is what makes it iconic. Bring back the history!

Fantastic atmosphere for those looking for historic ambiance and architecture.
I can not speak to the rooms as I have never stayed there. I frequent the Chuchill Bar (a cigar bar). Around the corner is The Tavern (a regular bar). I have been there as well; it is quite enjoyable.

Came into Denver for a work conference. The overall experience was interesting.

Positives: the staff is extremely friendly and professional. All of our questions where listened to and answered. The atmosphere and decorations are very beautiful and I rather stay here than the original hotel I was supposed to stay in for the conference (long story). The view and sunlight from the room is awesome and the location is convenient to so many options in the area. When I requested a late check out, it was granted.

Concerns: I'm not from this area and the room was cold, so I called room service. It took three calls to get the concern addressed satisfactory (but I was grateful that someone responded each time). The first time someone came up and turned the blower off. The second time they brought in extra blankets and a space heater and the third time got the heat going.

Top notch hotel for a quiet getaway. Front desk staff was highly attentive and engaging. Our wait staff in the Shipyard lounge was fantastic. Food was good as well and the room was extremely nice. I can't remember the last time I saw an entirely separate powder/makeup room in a guest room. It was a nice visit and I would definitely return.

Stunning inside. Ladder! Tea for a friend's bachelorette party was charming. The distribution was good and the staff were attentive. The bride really liked it. Clothing ranged from semi-formal to casual. A sophisticated place for intimate meetings (even if you are not particularly sophisticated). It also has a very interesting history that is worth checking out.
