This review is mostly in reference to the shuttle service. As an airline employee, I’ve been using this hotel for over a year a few time a month. The shuttle service has consistently gotten worse. You can expect to wait 45 min to sometimes over an hour for the shuttle to pick you up at the airport. Yesterday 8/17/24 I waited an hour. I had to call 3 times to try and get an update and was told that...
As a nearly weekly business traveler, I stay in a LOT of hotels throughout the year so I have plenty of experience for reference. This hotel is absolutely great. My initial experience was the friendly greeting I received from Gabby who was great! Though I arrived well before check-in time, I was able to work from the lobby with great workspaces and solid internet connection. As soon as a room was...
From my check in to the check out from this hotel the process was smooth. I want to especially give a shout out and a thank you to the lady at the front desk named Mary. Due to the global outage she was able to accommodate guest, work under pressure and adapt to changes in her environment with a smile on her face. She was very helpful, professional, and a pleasure meeting. Thanks again.
If you are looking for a clean hotel with great customer service, then look no further. The front desk receptionist, Gabby takes care of her guests. She is always smiling and knows how to interact with everyone. At my stay, I saw her work a double shift and she was still smiling as if it was the start of her shift. If I was management, I would give her a raise in pay. If I had a position in my department...
Used this hotel to lay over before meeting up with family the following day. Shuttle service worked, although it's worth knowing that you need to be in front of door 512 on the West side of the airport to meet it. I did ask the hotel about this in advance and didn't get a reply. Friendly staff at the front desk and at breakfast, a
good basic breakfast, very comfortable room and bed. Great...
My wife and I were heading back to the Twin Cities to help my brother move some stuff from the Family's cabin that he sold and bring it back to Colorado.
We had an early morning flight on Southwest and we didn't want to drive down at night from our house in the middle of nowhere. So, we chose to stay at this Hotel.
We are glad that we did. It was close to the airport, the shuttle ran early enough and...

Neat, clean room, airport shuttle and friendliness of staff. Within walking distance to some restaurants.
Our room was clean and smelled great, the king bed was amazingly comfy, and the bathroom was very modern! The shuttle runs every 30 minutes to/from the airport which was quite convenient. Would stay here again!

Flew into Denver International Airport past midnight. Luckily, check in was quick and the front desk attendant was helpful with providing information about amenities and check out. Only needed the bed to sleep for a few hours, the ironing equipment to clean up my uniform, the shower and toiletries (which smelled great-aloe and citrus) to get ready for an interview the next morning. Great low budget hotel. The location is right off I70 and near other hotels and fast food restaurants. It's also pretty close to the airport. The hotel itself was large; room was very spacious and the balcony was awesome. Some minor renovations needed but this was a great budget hotel!
This is a huge hotel but you wouldn't notice on the outside. The Timbers offer suite rooms, that are comparable to a one bedroom apartment. The rooms have a full kitchen, complete with dishes and silverware. Also the suites are equipped with a dining room table and chairs. In the living room there is a couch with a pull out bed. The wifi works great. This hotel has an indoor pool, a full buffet style...
We were pleasantly surprised. Our stay was wonderful, despite the reviews. The room was massive, and our room had two balconies on it! We visited for a long weekend and stayed at the Timbers and we had a wonderful time. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat, but the room in all was wonderful. The front desk staff are definitely lacking. But certain people give wonderful service! Breakfast was...
Nice cozy non corporate type of hotel. Would recommend for anyone wanting a true Colorado experience while visiting Denver. Gorgeous clean rooms updated nicely, and the staff was friendly and helpful. While a last minute night stay wasn't long enough to explore all their amenities... it was a good stay!
We stay here every time I have a Dr appointment. They treat you great and can't beat the price. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very quiet. I left my Bluetooth headset in the lobby. We called they had it and it arrived in the mail the next week. Thanks so much!
very accommodating, great customer service nice-if you encounter the right desk attendant, western antiquity feel to the place, has a good restaurant- better for lunch or supper, offers breakfast in the restaurant-run of the mill, very quiet. It wad a good place to stay. It was affordable and in a good location right off the free way and close to many things. We stayed in a suite with a small kitchen...

excellent fitness center, good restaurant and excellent Services incl. shuttle
Ok front desk service. Has a shuttle to drive you near by places. Rooms are nice has a in house restaurant. Rooms are clean and decent.
Rooms.are ok, a little on the small side. Hotel bar/restaurant isn't bad....location is good. However there was a mixup with the shuttle to the airport in the morning, and some people who didn't sign up showed up, and I got bumped, even though I was on the list, and had to wait for another shuttle to come back and pick me up
Nice hotel close to airport. Pool and fitness center are great. Rooms are spacious and comfy.
I went for a professional business meeting. The room had a lot of people and little to no air conditioning. It was clean with water provided. Overall decent experience.
This was one of the better Holiday Inns I've stayed in. The hotel is located about 5 miles away from the airport. There was a courtesy shuttle that brought me from airport. Being that I was stuck in Denver for the night I had wondered if I needed to rent a car to be able to drive to grab dinner at night... Looking back I'm glad I didn't get the car rental. Quality Inn Denver Downtown

Rooms for the super 8 were easily accessible. Parking was not bad at all. Rooms were at a fair price. The location was great It was a 20 minute walk to downtown. Best experience for a motel.
Great if you are looking for a cheap place to crash that is close to Down town Denver. The rooms could use some work but for the price these rooms are Great! Just wished the room came with a microwave. Other than that the lady that helped us at the front desk was so sweet and told us the Free breakfast is a must and she was so right. The food section was great and was tasty.
Centrally located on the outskirts of downtown Denver this Super 8 Motel quite possibly offers rooms with one of the most picturesque views of downtown Denver at night. Why spend $150 a night or more when you can score a room with everything you need for half the price? The rooms at Super 8 are always clean, the internet fast, and the coffee and cocoa hot and ready. The next time you're visiting Denver...
For the money, it's not to bad. The location is what should be expected in a busy downtown area. The water pressure is not the best, but it's hot. It is with in easy walking distance to the aquarium. Also there is a gas station close by. Plus there are tons of restaurants that deliver from grub hub.
After reading the reviews my expectations were low but the hotel was an excellent place to stay. The room had character and was clean. There was a great view of the city. The lady that checked us out this morning was extremely friendly and suggested her favorite thing to do in town. The breakfast was the best breakfast we've had at a hotel.
The room was cozy and clean, except there was a minor water leak in the ceiling. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great view of downtown, and free omelette bar for breakfast.

I did not have breakfast at this hotel. I didn’t know one was available.
I stayed here for 2 nights for a staycation. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view: The ambiance of the suite and bathroom was quite luxurious with a very sensual Western vibe. The lighting was also really nice. There were other employees who were very kind & attentive, plus the Valet attendants were friendly. Would definitely recommend staying at this location!
Great hotel in downtown Denver. Convenient to a few bars and restaurants and reasonably close to the convention center.
Rooms are clean and the downstairs bar/ restaurant is affordable with plenty of room.
The Starbucks on the ground floor is always backed up so he prepared to wait. That's not the hotel's issue, just an FYI.
An odd hotel in that everything seems to be on the lower level: the restaurant (which is good), the conference rooms, the bar. There is a Starbucks onsite and some lounge area upstairs but always being on the lower level with little windows is a bit odd. Otherwise it’s a fine hotel, no complaints really: room is fine, was clean. Service was good, you can walk to a bunch of restaurants, but it’s not...
The location was superb with easy access to the things we wanted to enjoy. The King bed was fantastic and super comfy. Loved the contemporary decor and it was really a treat to spend time in the room.
My husband, 18 yr-old son and I stayed one night on 7/7/21. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. All staff were very polite and kind. We had dinner at Prospect’s and the food was delicious. Favorite was the skirt steak taco- flavorful with fresh avocado and grated cheese. We had a city view room with a fabulous view. the place is adorable and charming, with many unique and quaint little details that make the stay special. the host was gracious and friendly, letting us put our stuff in the room before check-in so we didn't have to lug it around for a few extra hours, and also provided some suggestions for lunch spots.
Love this place! Check in is easy. The rooms are fun to stay in and the whole place is loaded with historical charm. I've stayed here multiple times. Parking sucks. The neighborhood is loud so bring a fan and sometimes the rooms are hot. So tell them right away because they won't credit you reimburse you if the heater doesn't shut off all night and you roast.
Amazing hotel!!!
Me and my best friend booked Albert room which the most expensive room (which is actually not at all!). I was suuuper excited about our room as it looked amazing on the photos!! But I didn’t expect a lot and was afraid that expectation and reality would be different. But I was so surprised to see BEAUTIFUL room in Victorian style. Every detail is soo unique!! Especially the bathroom...
We stayed in the Albert Suite, and were blown away by how nice our accommodations were. King sized bed, private sunroom, kitchenette, and a luxurious bathroom with a clawfoot tub and walk in shower for under $200 a night. Yes, it is downtown, so there are homeless people about, and road noise. There are also million dollar homes in the neighborhood where the chalet is. That's the city, people. Be realistic...
We stayed here two non-consecutive nights in August. I highly recommend paying just a bit more to get one of the "named" rooms on the first floor! The rooms have unique antique furniture and beautiful fixtures. The beds and linens are very comfortable. The larger rooms have a mini fridge, which is useful if staying for longer than a day or two. The place is very clean, but the cleaning solutions and...

Stayed here multiple times and will continue to for business travel. Absolutely fantastic staff- over the top helpful and friendly. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Couldn’t say enough good things about my many experiences here.
Overall a very nice hotel. And the hot breakfast was great. Loved that the rooms came with a full kitchen. Their rollaway beds are just as comfortable as a regular bed which my daughter really appreciated. My reason for not rating higher was due to several issues. For one, the TV never worked at night... all fuzzy. When we asked the front desk about it.all they had to say was that they'd had many complaints...
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was clean quiet and safe. I was able to cook, warm and keep food in my room.I was only two blocks from 17th street which is where stores restaurants and a shuttle bus are. The shuttle is free and ends up a Union Station. Close to train station, coors field, and about a mile and some change from convention center. If being downtown matters to you, it's a decent location but nothing special. You'll probably still need to use taxis etc. to get around. Workers were fantastic there and hotel is nice enough.
The room was all right, but I couldn't shake the feeling this was going to drip on me. I understand this a design choice, but I could be wrong. We checked in around nine or ten at night.

WOW! Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Free breakfast was finominal. Fresh omelettes cook right in front of you. Also the happy hour with snacks and free wine beer and well drinks. Great stay.
The hotel was in a decent location, and the lobby & reception area were really nice. Check in was fast and easy. The suite I stayed in was large and comfortable. However, it was also obviously dated. Fixtures were loose, it needed new paint, and their attempts to repair the floor of the bath tub left it looking dirty. Service was fantastic, and employees were friendly.
Is the place perfect? No, but it's perfectly located. Literally anything you could want or need is probably no more than 1000 feet from the hotel (including a Target, two pharmacies, a couple of bars, and a bevy of restaurants.) Great rooms, but the "complimentary" breakfast was still $15?!?!
The event staff was fantastic and easy to work with though. The pillows are very... Thin? They are down feather, but it was hard to get comfy.

Absolutely loved this hotel! We were kindly upgraded to the Presidential Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. We had the most beautiful view from our balcony of The Daniels & Fisher Tower. It waa centrally located at one end of 16th Street. Perfect to walk 16th Street Mall. It is also close to Ball Arena which we walked for our basketball game. Front desk staff were both amazing and so accomodating
Great location, but the beds are only okay. Since 90% of my time at a hotel is in bed... I'd prefer something a bit nicer. Parking isn't cheap. I might stay again but only if the price is right
Great place to stay. 16th Street has an incredibly amount of night life, which could be a book or a curse. My night in Denver had a great evening at an awesome nearby brewery, though at midnight a demonstration began right outside of my hotel room. Positives with the negatives.
The staff is extremely efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The valets are fast in retrieving your car. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel staff really cares about the customer. The location is really nice too. It allows you a lot of options for extracurricular activities. I would definitely recommend this Marriott to my friends and family.
You really cannot beat this location. The rooms are a bit dated but the are super cute with high ceilings and crown molding. Also the Rialto cafe downstairs serves yummy dishes that can be ordered to the room. The only downside of this hotel would be the front desk that only had one inpatient receptionist for both counters. That’s why it doesn’t get the full 5 stars. Otherwise I highly recommend.
This is the perfect downtown location. Located in a historical building right on the mall which is a fantastic place to shop, eat or people watch. The Courtyard is walking distance so many great places and the outside dining at the hotel is an added bonus. Can't wait to go back.
