A nice resort for a weekend vacation. Great kids activities at night in the garden near the pool (bouncy house, huge chess set, ping pong, blocks, connect 4, movies, more). Booking direct gets you complementary access to Palm Beach, a small water park in Moody Gardens. The 2 day value passes to the various Moody Gardens attractions are also worth it. We were not able to see it all in just one day

Went for a work association conference. The amenities were great. Parking was close. Event was well marked and easy to find. The AV equipment functioned as designed and without incident. Wait staff was courteous and professional. Great venue for an event.

From great food and amenities to family fun and entertainment. Pools and beaches to the pyramid's bird park and ocean life. Something for the whole family to do. Very comfortable stay! The staff is readily available and courteous. All areas were clean. Housekeeping came to the rooms twice each day, which was very convenient, as my family likes to sleep late. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. There is plenty for families to do on site, and it's a short drive to other Galveston attractions. Will visit again.

Nice hotel, very well located. Restaurants can be reached easily in walking distance. Beach is just over the road. We stayed in a room without a balcony with a full Gulf view. The room was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was very comfy. Service is good and everything is conveniently located. NOTE: There are 2 different rooms. The ones with the patio, which we've stayed at before, are more dated and the beds less comfy. The condo was nice, but the furniture arrangement in the living room was awkward. Balcony overlooked the marsh and was big with chairs and tables. Bedroom was good. Bed comfortable two closets. Bathroom was huge but had 5 doors in it so was weird if anyone didn't close a door. Shower had mold in it. Kitchen was standard with good assortment of dishes.

Very good, nervous at first seeing the reviews but turned out fine, two random locked closets that we didn’t have a key to which seems weird. Beautiful beach view! Great bathroom and game room just outside our room!

Good location. On the Seawall and near pleasure pier. It’s good for a last minute stay. I wouldn’t stay for the weekend or any longer than one night. Plain. Nothing really too good about it to say I’d stay here again unless there was a last minute decision like this time to find a hotel.

Visited a friend staying there. The place was clean, modern decor, friendly staff. I would stay here if I did not live on Galveston Island. It's a bit far from attractions, but worth it during tourist season. The peace in the evenings will be greatly appreciated! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galveston.

I chose a beachside balcony and was amazed at the view.. It's a little distant from the ocean but still walkable withing 5 minutes.. For relaxing by the ocean I could take have asked for better... Hotel is really nice. There's a few minor things but nothing of consequence the breakfast is okay about what you would expect. The beds are really comfortable the shower is nice TVs at Tad small but it's a great picture. We even have a balcony although you have to stretch to see the bay

The rooms are small but clean. They are also pet friendly. We had to switch rooms as the hot water didn't work in one. Miss Misty at the front desk helped us switch, she was so kind about it. Will stay here again!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this Motel 6 in Galveston. Both times it's been great! The staff are so helpful and friendly! The pool is clean and just the right temperature. It's close to the beach and the cruise terminal. For the price, you can't beat it.

Omg!! I loved my stay here. The lady that helped me was so kind. She even hipped me to a discount. The pool is open in the summer for the kids. Its was fairly clean. The rooms were also pretty clean. I mostly liked the swim & the service.

Great upfront pricing and has a pool. They also have coffee. When the ice machine says don't fill your cooler it's not lying it only has about four buckets saved up. The photos are after my stay it's alot cleaner and made up plus fresh towels daily. Great place great staff.

Great location - close to everything! We spent one night before boarding a cruise ship for our 30th anniversary and “Little Dee” was friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the area. A decent stay, the furniture was very worn and missing pieces. The bathroom had mold in it and the tub didn't exactly look safe. The breakfast and views were very nice. The lady who checked us in was ok however, the lady who was at the front desk over night was so nice and accommodating.

Room had a killer View. Unfortunately the AC room sort of works not very well. The AC did not cool the restroom and there is no vent in the bathroom. I have just had much better experiences at hotels than I did at this location we won't be returning.

You get what you pay for. Rooms aren't great but their suitable. Staff is pretty friendly. Pool was in pretty good shape. Have coffee in the morning but that's it. Location isn't bad. Few minutes to anything you might need and only about a 10 minute drive to anything in downtown/beach area. Free WI-FI. Second year staying here and if we come back again I'll stay here again.

Had a bit of a wet smell. But more than likely it's just the AC unit. For me the bed was too soft. Pool closes at 10. My only real complaints. It was one of the cheapest places in the summer. Fairly good place to rest.

It's been a long time since I last visited Galveston. A return trip was in order but finances are tight. Rodeway Inn appeared to be the best value on the web. It was good! There were minor inconveniences (cigarette burns on the comforter and not enough towels for a beach visit) but the staff was helpful and cleaned up our beach sand quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

First thing I noticed was hair, eyebrow or nose, all around and in the sink. When I got out of shower and walked to bed for my socks my feet were dirty already. Good: clean sheets, friendly staff. Bad: exercise room/laundry room dusty. Sign says “wipe the equipment down after use”, but no towels or disinfectant supplied. Fridge in room had one big frozen mass of ice cubes in the freezer, and the compressor was not bolted down well so the fridge jumped loudly when the compressor fired up. Lastly, the remote was held together with a bandaid (kind of gross)

Fronnt desk attendant was very courteous to us. Rooms were spacious with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, recliner, ironing board and iron. Not far from cruise terminal also. Has amenities such as store, pool and washing machines.

We have been staying here every time we come to Galveston for a few years now. The staff is always friendly. The property is a little older but they have remodeled with new furniture and paint in the past 6 months. Never had any problems with bugs and the rooms are always clean.

My husband stayed here when we were driving hotshot, and when we got married 4 years ago, we returned to this hotel. People are nice, friendly and if you have any issues, they help right away. Room was nice. Sink is outside of bathroom which I like. The AC unit was a but confused. It would blow warm but then cold. The fridge also had ice build up that prevented it from shutting all the way. Other wise beds were comfy. Microwave & fridge and xfinity cable. They also didn't have not chocolate as an option at breakfast.

Visit was ok we had grapes in the fridge from the last guest. Hair on the faucet and a beer cap on the floor. Otherwise was a ok stay.

Absolutely beautiful resort. No beach in front but the views more than makes up for it. Pool and lazy river area is stunning.

The outdoor pool spans 300 feet with an additional 750 foot lazy river for tubing and a children's pool with a custom water slide.
