Everything was great. The only I can recommend is make more variations with the buffet. Second time there same menu. Thanks
The service " from the short handed Staff is 5+ stars." The MGMT billing system is unacceptable in posting charges. When we checked out at checkout time, our Bill was nowhere complete from our stay. You would think, you're handed one Bill and that's it. Many things had not been posted on our room bill. we had to call back the next day after the charges were posted... hotel error on posting. Things...
A nice resort for a weekend vacation. Great kids activities at night in the garden near the pool (bouncy house, huge chess set, ping pong, blocks, connect 4, movies, more). Booking direct gets you complementary access to Palm Beach, a small water park in Moody Gardens. The 2 day value passes to the various Moody Gardens attractions are also worth it. We were not able to see it all in just one day
Went for a work association conference. The amenities were great. Parking was close. Event was well marked and easy to find. The AV equipment functioned as designed and without incident. Wait staff was courteous and professional. Great venue for an event.
From great food and amenities to family fun and entertainment. Pools and beaches to the pyramid's bird park and ocean life. Something for the whole family to do. And best liquor assortment and drinks for you adults vacationing. And water park next door. A great vacation place on the Island. Have fun.
Very comfortable stay! The staff is readily available and courteous. All areas were clean. Housekeeping came to the rooms twice each day, which was very convenient, as my family likes to sleep late. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. There is plenty for families to do on site, and it's a short drive to other Galveston attractions. Will visit again.

We love the San Luis and don’t really stay anywhere else when we go to Galveston. It is a great resort in the middle of the seawall so walkable to pretty much everything. The pool and swim up bar are awesome, water is warm, good service. Plenty of restaurants inside and a nice bar. Nice giftshops with some higher end clothes, shoes, purses, swimsuits , sunglasses, etc. as well as a general store...
While I did have a few issues with this place they have the best amenities available for a resort. I didn't take part in the pool but definitely their best feature. Check in girl was amazing and helped with all my issues including parking a large vehicle. Just a heads up but they do to go orders at pool bar and food was cold but being inside the food was great. Drink prices are a little pricey but...
Excellent location (even though it was extremely low vision due to fog) it is right across the street from the ocean with an amazing view! Then we were able to walk the little strip down to the Pleasure Pier and had some ice cream and authentic Mexican along the way! Beautiful resort, everything in great condition and clean. We did stay in a condo, rather than the hotel part, but we utilized the...
This is a beautiful hotel & resort. After an unfortunate experience at a nearby hotel, we needed to check in spur of the moment. The staff was more than accommodating to let us view a room before we checked in and had the bedding changed immediately (I'm allergic to down bedding). The pool is 92 degrees, clean and has friendly servers. The swim up bar is great. The parrot in the lobby is a huge bonus...
My friend owns a condo here & the times I've gone, been no problems. But does suck you can't bring alcohol to pool area, if you own a unit, but I understand. Very nice place & yes recommend to others, if you want to get away for the weekend.
Great experience all the way around. They make you feel welcome and relaxed. They take great care of you! If you have any requests they do their best to make sure you are satisfied. I love coming here! ( I am speaking for the spa and room service. )

Nice hotel, very well located. Restaurants can be reached easily in walking distance. Beach is just over the road. Very good was the big car park which is free of charge and the very good breakfast (way over the standtad in US hotels if breakfast is included). Pool is open until midnight, which is also unusal,
We stayed in a room without a balcony with a full Gulf view. The room was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was very comfy. Service is good and everything is conveniently located. NOTE: There are 2 different rooms. The ones with the patio, which we've stayed at before, are more dated and the beds less comfy. The ones without the balcony (listed as Full Gulf View when you're booking)...
Overall no complaints. Front desk staff and management were polite. They upgraded my room to a king bed, without asking. No balcony, but no complaints because the view was perfect. The hotel is older and needs touch ups but that’s expected. The room was clean, the window could have been touched up. I didn’t use the bar, restaurant, or pool. Plenty of parking, valet isn’t mandatory but self parking...
Location was good. The hotel itself was nice with a good pool. The staff, with the exception of desk clerk Jerry, was terrible. We called when we were on our way to ask a few questions and the lady on the phone asked for reservation number and we said hold on one second while I find that and she said "oh Jesus Christ", Couldn't believe how rude she was and when we arrived it was no better. Front desk...
My husband, 2 year old, 7 month old, and I stayed 4 nights on a short summer get away. We arrived around 10:00pm on a Tuesday night and when we went to check in, we were told that they had overbooked our room so we were put in a different (older and bad view) room than what we had reserved and they would switch us the next day. We were unhappy because we purposely asked for a King bed because my kids...
7 of us stayed here prior to our cruise on March 23, 2018. We had 3 rooms. My adult son left his MK box with a lot of expensive jewelry in it on the counter in his room. He didn't notice it was missing until that evening on the cruise ship getting ready for dinner. We called the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help us. The housekeeper tried to catch us before leaving the port. The...

We went for our anniversary. We've been many times, but this was the first time since the remodel. The rooms are state of the art and when you walk through the lobby you are witnessing history. I love this place even more and will.br back sooner than later
Very clean hotel. Nice friendly staff. Appears to be one the nicest in the immediate area. Have to give a shout out to Peter, the manager of the restaurant in the hotel. There was a hiccup with getting our order out to us due to a glitch, but Peter made it all right! Alexis said it was one of the best, if not the best, crab cakes she has ever eaten.
To elevate the guest experience, it would be appreciated if slippers were provided in the rooms. While the bathroom's aesthetics are commendable, attention to detail is required as the mirrors show signs of corrosion, and there are visible holes in the walls, presumably from prior renovations, that have not been addressed. The culinary offerings, particularly the grilled dishes, are exceptional and...
Visited the bar, and it was very nice. The red chandeliers were beautiful and added a nice compliment to the red love seats and tables. Service was great, although it was pretty much self service in the early afternoon, but the drinks were great, and the well drinks were premium quality liquors. Atmosphere was friendly and romantic at the same time.
Absolutely stunning hotel! Swim up pool bar - truly excellent, although disappointing the times of this opening changed half way through our stay so defo check that out before you head to the pool to lounge and drink. The pool is beautiful with music playing and a hot tub available too. It's easy to spend hours here. The location is ideal and it's wonderful to walk across to the beach and...
Loved the hotel, the property is beautiful. The service was excellent from the valet, front desk, pool bartenders, lobby bar bartenders and Monarch servers. The room and bathroom were small, we had a partial gulf view room with two double beds. If you want a large room, I would try a suite or booking somewhere else. For us, the charm, service and atmosphere were an acceptable trade off for the room...

When I booked ocean view I thought it would be on the seawall. It is located on the street behind the seawall. It seems like a few of the rooms if you stand at the window can see the gulf. I think there were recently renovations so the room was cute. Included a mini fridge and microwave. There is no breakfast in the morning. There is a small outdoor pool. No hot tub, it was possibly cemented over?...
On Check in they upgraded our Room without even asking for it!! Rooms are Big, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer and iron with ironing board. King size bed was SO COMFORTABLE!!! COMPLETELY refurbished Inside and Out & it was quite & right on the Seawall and a view of the Gulf of Mexico was Splendid!!
Dirty, disgusting, no maid service most days. Comforter was disgusting, could not use that. Staff at the front desk were incredibly rude. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN AS A LAST RESORT!!

The condo was nice, but the furniture arrangement in the living room was awkward. Balcony overlooked the marsh and was big with chairs and tables. Bedroom was good. Bed comfortable two closets. Bathroom was huge but had 5 doors in it so was weird if anyone didn't close a door. Shower had mold in it. Kitchen was standard with good assortment of dishes.
Stayed in 10/3/2022 for 1 night with signature 2 bed room king suites. Staff Kim is so courteous and helpful checked us in. Highly recommend. Wow spacious and clean rooms suite and sat in balcony see ocean wave and sunrise. Also see sunrise from a master bedroom lay in bed. Amazing great beach hotel on Galveston beach. Recommend signature collection 2 bed rooms, it walks to beach in 1 minutes and...
Very good, nervous at first seeing the reviews but turned out fine, two random locked closets that we didn’t have a key to which seems weird. Beautiful beach view! Great bathroom and game room just outside our room!
We will very likely return here. All the staff were very pleasant and having a guard at the entrance adds a feeling of some security.
Nice resort. Plenty to do for the kids. Nice and quiet and away from obnoxious East end but short drive to get there. Lacking in Wi-Fi and mobile internet is serious down fall.
Silverleaf has a new management company. They are trying to make everything better. The new buildings are very nice. Make sure you don't commit to something that you don't know EVERYTHING about.

I was in town with family the night before our cruise to Key West. We were greeted with a huge Texas size welcome, from the most professional, most knowledgeable and biggest smile a person could imagine; a man named Giovanni! Great stay. Quiet location and room. Air Condition worked as intended and it was quiet. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Shuttle to cruise is available for a fee. Great from arrival to check out. COMFY BED.
This is a great property right across the street from the beach! The pool is one of the best on the island as well. Great and friendly staff. Gio at the front desk was very helpful and made our stay! The breakfast and the AM staff is superb as well!
This hotel deserves all the hype!!! I went down for my birthday and was not disappointed. Falina, who worked the front, was kind and got a room ready for us for early check-in. She called to let us know when it was ready. The room was adorable! A little kitchen, big comfy beds, a TV right in the center of the room, and a large closet space. We went straight to the pool because it is literally what...
Giovanni checked us in. He was very attentive and got us into our room quickly, which we really appreciated since we arrived very late. He even gave us crayons and coloring paper for our kids to enjoy. Our room was clean and had everything we need. They recently remodeled so all the rooms are new.

Stayed here during a mini vacation/business trip. Wife and I were very impressed with our stay. Staff members do go out of their way with hospitality. Very friendly and accommodate. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Service was excellent. They are renovating the entire place but looks to be staying open. I wish all hotels had employees like theirs. We will be back!
Me and my husband and our service monkey stayed for 5 days and loved the hotel. The room was perfect as was all the staff. We even ate and jiggers and the food was great. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will be staying there from now on. Thank you Holiday inn on the beach Galveston for making our trip amazing
Nice hotel overall. Staff have all been very nice and provided great service. The pool is nice and seems a good size for the size of the hotel. They provide towels and the pool seating was nice. The restaurant is decent but not a large menu. The location is great and is convenient to all things to do in Galveston. It is right across from the Gulf so you can just walk over to the beach. Our stay at this hotel was amazing! We had a minor challenge, but Elizabeth and her manager Anthony were so accommodating. Our room overlooked the ocean. The bed was comfortable. I had read the other reviews before choosing this location. Some of the reviews people gave about the scent might be because people do not realize how humid being on the beach can be. They did the best to dry the hotel...

Overall, our 2 night stay was good. We had a large group and for the most part, things went OK. The only real problem we had was with the front desk employees at check in and their attitude. Other than that, the room had a great view and was comfortable for the two of us. Beds were comfortable and the fact that they had a balcony with ocean and pool view was even better.

Victorian Condos is a great place to stay on the Seawall, Galveston Island. Perfect location with awesome amenities
I liked it a lot. Nice pools and stayed in nice condo. Would have given 5 stars but there was a stench in the stairwell that took 2 days to resolve. My Condo balcony looked right at exit where there is no longer a pedestrian gate so people constantly stood around to chase cars in and out. Cars also continually tried to exit on right side but gate opens left. Maybe some signage. About the pedestrians...
The (Anchors away) condo on the second floor overlooking the pool has an amazing view. It directly overlooks the pool so you can see the pool and the ocean without turning your head. Very clean and nicely decorated. You can tell all the beds are new and the couch and the couch bed very nice
The owner of the unit we stayed in was very helpful. We were right across the seawall from the beach and next to a crossing light which made access very easy. There is a Sonic and a WalMart next door within walking distance. The pool is kept clean. Great place to stay while on vacation.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect and reasonably priced for what's around and what you're getting. The room may have been small, but it was clean (surprisingly clean for so close to the beach) and the A/C worked phenomenally well. Lastly the staff is super friendly. Had a great night before boarding ship. It's on opposite end of island, but we planned to park at port so that wasn't a problem. It's still just down the road. Breakfast was hot and and good variety.
Was worried by some of the reviews but our stay went well. Only issue we had was someone breaking the door in the parking area to get to the elevator, but that was not the hotels fault. Breakfast was good too. Standard fare: waffles, toast, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal etc... but all was fresh and hot and tasty that we ate. Possibly will stay again when we come back to Galveston at a...
Good location. On the Seawall and near pleasure pier. It’s good for a last minute stay. I wouldn’t stay for the weekend or any longer than one night. Plain. Nothing really too good about it to say I’d stay here again unless there was a last minute decision like this time to find a hotel.
Visited a friend staying there. The place was clean, modern decor, friendly staff. I would stay here if I did not live on Galveston Island. It's a bit far from attractions, but worth it during tourist season. The peace in the evenings will be greatly appreciated! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galveston.
Great place! Friendly accommodations! The front desk was super helpful with check in, fast friendly and accommodating... My room was very clean, comfortable and modern... Great location and view was great as well. Room was clean and neat. Customer service and the staff were awesome. Their breakfast was really good too! It was a decent place to sleep for the night while we waited to dock our cruise. Everything was clean but not the greatest quality pillows and sheets of course. Gaido's Seaside Inn
Galveston, 3700 Seawall Boulevard 🧭 Map
We both liked the great location, free parking, and fantastic staff attentiveness! The wonderful decor of the room even includes books and an awesome mini fridge/freezer combo in matching style! Other nice touches include shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispensers, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve encountered!
Old and quirky but clean and a decent value. The room temp was fine and the wifi works good. The rooms need updating. Great location on the seawall with two great restaurants on site. Free breakfast was really good. Good mattresses. Just two beefs: one was we couldn't get into our room. We stayed in one of the "nook" rooms upstairs and had to pass through an additional card reader which didn't work...
The Inn is a little older but don’t let that scare you away. Our room (King bed- courtyard view) was extremely comfortable and cute. The pool and hot tub were by far the best part. The pool bar overlooks the sea wall and water. The staff is very nice and helpful. Can’t beat the location!! We love it here and will definitely stay here again.
Trees by the pool blocked a lot of the ocean view I paid extra for. But I still got to see the sea. Pool was nice. Having a shallow area for kids and deeper area for adults is great. Place is as close to the ocean as it gets in Galveston. Would stay there again no problem. Only had one interaction with staff, but she was fantastic and helpful.
The rooms are super cute with oil paintings and flower arrangements. The place is pretty clean as well. The pool is absolutely fantastic and the staff treated us like family. Also, breakfast was delicious. Our family had a wonderful time and we plan to come back again.
Loved the location! the pool was fun for my young one, as well for us, since we could get drinks/food a few steps away. The front desk ladies were really nice. My only complaint was the lady in the kitchen serving breakfast, she was extremely rude! I really did not feel comfortable to ask for anything else, she was treating people like a bunch of kindergarten kids.
