Courtyard Grand Rapids Downtown

Ordered a king, got a queen bed instead without informing us. Good stay overall, just be aware of this oversight.

Parking was weird. Stated that their garage was under construction, but I still saw cars parking in there without issue. Had to park in a basment around the block. Not a deal breaker just a very awkward walk back to the hotel.

Good walking distance to anything you’d like.

Bathroom was fine.

Staff was friendly.

Can hear the club across the street throughout the night.

Parking-interesting. Try to park using the entrance immediately adjacent to the hotel. Otherwise using the secondary entrance off of Fulton creates a maze to get to hotel.

Rooms: it is 2024 and the room only had standard electrical outlets. Of course I forgot a charging block. Had to go to nearby convenience store to buy one. Surprised lamps or clock didn't have a USB port to charge. Bathroom ceiling was low. If you are tall, I'm thinking 6'4 plus, you might have an issue, at least in our room. Entrance to bathroom was smaller than usual and an odd angle. However, since this is a urban hotel, not unusual.

Large pool, a little cool at first. Food at hotel restaurant decent for hotel food.

My husband and I stayed here while in GR for a concert. The initial draw for us was that this hotel is connected to the arena via a skywalk system. Being able to so easily walk from hotel to concert and back (and stay warm in the process) makes me happy. The rooms here were comfortable and clean. Service by all the hotel staff was very good. And there's a Starbucks in the hotel, so caffeine (AKA nectar) is easily accessible. We come to GR for concerts several times a year, and will definitely be staying here again.

Mel and Sheresse J. Are excellent servers who made my request for blue cheese stuffed olives happen. I appreciate their efforts and the kitchen staff for a great experience during my stay.

The food was good, drinks tasty and beds comfy for the nights rest.

Was very impressed with how well the check-in staff handled our large group. Everyone had a great smile and was efficient and effective.

We came into town, and stayed at this hotel for a wrestling event. The hotel was right off the highway and easy to find. The parking garage is attached to the hotel, and came in handy because of the construction. The best part, we were able to access our event through the walkway! It was a family getaway, so with little ones, it was awesome to have such easy access to everything. The room accommodated us well as far as size and cleanliness. If we had to give one critique, it would be for the layout of the room. We stayed in the executive suite, 1 bedroom. The restroom was not easily accessible to others. Everyone had to walk through our room, to get to the restroom. However, all and all, we’ll stay here again and would totally recommend it to others!

The staff here are great, also, ignore Mr. Banks's review, reason all that happened was because security had to come up since he was being a loudmouth, got in the face of the security guy and every thing. I was three doors down and could still hear his racket. The location is a little too good to where it loops around to being bad, a lot of drunks from the bar across the street caused a fuss, Mr. Banks was likely one of them

Front desk staff were helpful. In town for a show and this is my go to hotel. Parking is extra but worth it. You can easily walk to many venues and restaurants. The first thing we noticed in the room was that it was odor free. No chemical smells and no detergent odor. A blessing for the highly sensitive.
