Club Wyndham Grand Desert

Everything was good until it was check out time, they inform you that you need to be out at 10 am because they are shutting off water but still have guests in rooms. Then have security there at the doors watching us that need to check out at 10. Nice way to say need to leave after spending all the money you do for their contracts… this is why I will never do business with them again.

The rooms are spacious but dated, it looks like it hasn't been updated in over 20 yrs. The carpet and floors were sticky, we stayed for 7 nights and yet no house keeping not even once, they just came and dumped a bag of towels at the door. The bed is super uncomfortable and makes too much noise. Keys didn't work half the time, once they cut off our access because they did have security deposits from us as their cc machine didn't work. 2nd the door lock battery was going low.
This is a timeshare, once we declined to purchase their attitude changed. Not a friendly staff.
Only saving grace, the location is close to the strip but still a good 15-20 min walk.

Stayed in November for 8 nights as a Wyndham owner. I was told the room has the Strip view. That was false information. Maybe a 30 degree angle from a window and I could barely see the Strip.1. You would think they would reserve good rooms for the owner. Not 2. Stayed in Tower 2 room 485. Room was not cleaned well. Clumps of hair are on the bathroom floor. Feminine sanitary napkins wrap in the room drawer, dirty towels under the sink, empty shower gel, soap stain, gap on front and bedroom doors, no blanket provided for the pull out couch bed etc.
I checked in on a late evening and informed the hotel that I DO NOT want to attend any presentation. Somehow they offered 4 High Roller tickets and sure enough there was a small print that said "I would agree to attend a 60 minutes orientation".
Assistant manager left a very quick voicemail that I could not catch her name. I called the front desk and they had no idea who the Assistant manager was.
Overall a big disappointment. This is by far the worst Wyndham resort I stayed at.
Room 485 is very close to the elevator. With the big gap on the front door, you could hear folks talking. Take a look at attached pictures.
Poor hotel management on Shuttle service that runs to the Strip every 30 minutes and limited to 22 passengers. Some folks would not line up and cut in line. Those who arrived/waited for the shuttle were asked to leave/wait for the next shuttle.
