For an off-strip hotel, this place was conveniently close to all the action in Las Vegas. We swiftly discovered a means of accessing the Strip, which was not via the Aria casino, as we had become lost. Instead, we proceeded via an outside elevator and a utility road, and within a few minutes, we were able to reach the Strip. We got a room on the 53rd floor, and although we didn't get Strip-view, the view over the city didn't disappoint. Our room was very nice and had a big bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. When we checked in, we asked for kitchenware because the room had a full kitchen. This allowed us to make our own breakfast. My wife and I are in the travel industry, and we were looking for a good hotel for our clients in the coming season. Our previous pick has been receiving mixed feedback lately. We can recommend the Vdara to anyone who wants to visit Las Vegas. We didn't have time to go to the pool or the Spa, so we'll have to come back to this hotel as soon as we can. When you're reading this review, please know that we think the Vdara is a hidden gem.

I was very excited to stay at Vdara based on other reviews and the resort being a 5 star. Upon arriving the entrance way and the lobby were impeccable. But once I entered my suite it was a different story. The room was full of dust, there was an used washcloth left in the closet, rust was around the sink and toilet. The lights attached to the bed 1 was broken and the other was not working. In the year 2023 how can you not have any USB ports attached to the outlets throughout the room. However, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Tiffany at concierge gave wonderful show and dinner recommendations. The location was prime and the use of the tram was great. I definitely think more attention need to focused on the upkeep of the rooms. Also I know the resort stays busy but perhaps closing off 1 floor or a block of rooms at a time to perform a deep clean would greatly appreciated for guests that are paying a fair amount to stay at the resort.

I stayed at the Vdara in October with a friend and it was a great experience. We were close enough to the strip to enjoy the amenities there. We could see the Bellagio Fountains and the Sphere from our room, which was a great bonus at night. They were packed the weekend we went, so our room wasn't ready when we arrived well after check-in, but the staff was very apologetic and quick to offer us some room credit to apologize for the inconvenience.
The staff was TOP NOTCH! They were really nice and very accommodating with any issues or questions we had while there (including needing a bottle opener at 1am). It also smelled very nice in the lobby. Having the mini fridge and microwave in the room was another benefit (the last hotel I stayed at in Vegas didn't have a microwave and the mini fridge was full of things you'd get charged for if you moved them). We were there for a concert at Park MGM, so the Tram was super helpful in getting us there and back, saving us an Uber trip.
Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again!

At first glance, the hotel appears sleek and modern; however, it quickly becomes apparent that maintenance has not been prioritized. The rooms are poorly cleaned, and show significant signs of wear and tear. For example, the toilet seat was peeling, the shower tiles were discolored, and the grout was either missing or moldy. In the living room, the couch was visibly sagging and dirty. The carpet was stained and the sheets had stains as well. Although the rooms have kitchenettes, no dishes or utensils of any sort are provided. You have to call housekeeping and list exactly what you would like. Note that the utensils are also plastic.
Additionally, housekeeping did not attempt to service the room at any point during a three night stay despite placing the housekeeping light on.
On a positive note, the location is decent as long as you don’t mind a bit of a walk to restaurants and attractions. We had an erroneous charge on the folio upon checkout that was rectified at the desk without any fuss. Still, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Everyone was nice and awesome! Beautiful hotel. The only downside is that they don't have their own parking lot so you have to take the tram or walk to the garage. The easiest way is to take the tram that is by the Bellagio, all the way to the 1st location which I believe is MGM Grand. It took us about 3 days to figure this out, but once we did, it was not that bad. We were walking through the Aria, which took a long time. I wish I knew the name of the lady who checked me in but she did a great job. I was there for a work conference and wedding anniversary and she was able to WOW us with a nice upgrade on the higher floor. I'd definitely stay here again. Food was good BTW. Thanks!

I like Vdara, sometimes we stay there. So far it has been good. Except, last time we stayed there, I noticed lack of house keeping in the rooms and hallways. Rooms r nice, it is quiet in the lobby. It is a spa hotel rather than gambling. Nice bar area. Simple but sufficient cafe.

Vdara is amazing. It's attained that perfect balance of luxurious and comfortable that's so hard to achieve. Pros include great views, large soaking tubs, decent beds, and homey amenities. The only mildly negative I'd say is that there needs to be more restaurants in Vdara. You have to hoof it over to Aria or the cosmopolitan if you want decent food.
