Hilton Milwaukee City Center
Milwaukee, 509 West Wisconsin Avenue 🧭 Map
it's big, it has many elevators, it has starbucks, it has restaurants in the lobby, sensational !!!
It has a lovely art deco interior. The beds were a little small, being full instead of double, but still comfortable. This is a very dog friendly hotel. They have two dog concierges. Even the Miller Pub is dog friendly. My dog was brought his own water bowl, and was allowed to sit at the table. They brought him bacon to eat. All in all, a very wonderful experience.
Another perfectly nice Hilton. I generally love staying with Hilton because they’re consistent - they’re usually nice and clean, close to other things to do in the area, and the staff is always great. This location is not exception. The lobby is beautiful, my room is nice, there’s great views of the city from above, and it’s close to the river walk with all the restaurants scattered around. My personal...
Nice location in the middle of downtown Milwaukee. The rooms were clean and well put together. There is a Starbucks in the bottom of the hotel which is convenient for a quick breakfast. The hotel has a couple of restaurants on-site. The fitness center is nice for a Hilton. I look forward to hoping to get back here soon.
What a beautiful place. We pulled into the parking garage and found the desk easily. Plenty of signage to help us get around. We ate at the pub on the lower level and it was great. It nice to go to a big hotel like this and all the elevators are working and there were even escalators to the area we needed to go.
My wife and I stayed here for a week-long business trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is older but has been well-maintained and has a beautiful, ornate art deco lobby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi was generally speedy enough for me to take video calls. The best part of our stay were the staff. Everyone I interacted with was very welcoming and eager...

Overall, I liked my experience at the hotel and everything went off without a hitch. Hotel was clean, rooms were as advertised, and the location was as great. Only two gripes about my stay there. The parking situation was interesting to say the least. There was no way of knowing where the actual parking lot entrance was. No distinct sign or anything signifying it was the hotel parking garage. I had...
I just got back from a weekend trip to Milwaukee. My partner and I stayed here and I was not sure what to expect. The front lobby seems relatively recently updated and the staff was pretty friendly. Didn’t need anything beyond check-in and checkout assistance but they were helpful all the same. The room was pretty nice. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were pretty comfortable. Some things...
Location was convenient for us to attend a concert at American Family Field. Check in was great - very professional and friendly. We were given an upgrade to a room with a better view (overlooking downtown). Room was a bit dated with damage to the bathroom door and vanity. Bathroom was very small - you could barely get around the door to close it due to the proximity of the toilet. However, shower...
I plan on staying here again had a great time and lots of fun things to do nearby. Room was very nice but could use thicker blankets. They were very thin but overall a great experience at the hotel.
I am usually not one to leave reviews but Richard's service at the bar (Julep) was exceptional. I got in right before a conference ended and a rush of 80+ people came to the bar to order. Richard was the only one working the bar and, despite the insane rush, was so friendly with everyone and provided fast service. He stayed after when the bar was supposed to close to serve all these people. I think...
I liked the place. A lot of what other negative reviewers state is true: super small bathrooms, old furniture and patch jobs here and there. But who cares. The beds were super comfy, shower was nice and hot, TV was nice. It’s a good hotel despite its age. The rooms are reasonably priced and ALL the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. If you want a gigantic bathroom and the newest furniture...

Blu was amazing to see again, along with the bartenders especially downstairs in the lobby. We had one girl and a guy Friday and Sunday evening. They were friendly, very nice and not to be around.
We celebrate our anniversary here every year. This hotel is beautiful. The staff is superb. The food is excellent whether you're grabbing a snack in the lounge, appetizers at the lobby bar, or dining at Mason Street Grill.
I loved the Pfister!!! The view from our window on 18th floor was amazing! It was lush and luxurious and staff was friendly and helpful. I had a massage at the Well+ salon and it was outstanding, too. I had a great time!
We stopped in at the Pfister to check out the glorious decor and take a break from touring Milwaukee. Mercy is it a pretty place. As a special treat we had a drink in the lobby bar (upstairs wasn't open). The selection of high quality options, as well as the specialty drinks on the menu were top notch! And our server was super; friendly, charming, and effective! The quick luxury of our unexpected visit...
Great historic building. Beds comfortable and rooms are decorated with artwork. Lobby bar is a special place to relax and enjoy a drink. Lobby is a busy place and wait times can happen.
This is a great and historic hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the clean and quiet room. All services provided are best in class. You also have plenty of things to do and explore due to this hotels location. I would also recommend this hotel for larger groups and meetings.

Check-in went fine. Renovated rooms are decent, though impossible to control the heat. A bit ridiculous to have to sleep with open windows in late December as the room would be 80 degrees otherwise (with the thermostat at 60). Bathrooms need more work, for example the laminate counter is sloppily caulked, there is exposed pipe work, and the toilet seat doesn't stay up. No fridge. Decent enough restaurant...
Got a really great rate due to the renovation, pool is back up and running. While there has been some noise from renovation, haven't heard it anytime before 10am or after 8pm so didn't interrupt any sleep. Room was mostly clean and comfy. Found a dead spider, but looked quite recent so honestly might have crawled in after the cleaning crew but before I checked in, this time of year is usually pretty...
Still under construction, but everyone was very nice and helpful . New rooms are kind of minimalistic but nice. No refrigerators. The beds and pillows are very nice. We were told the hotel will be a 4 Points - Sheraton after the remodel is done. Best airport parking deal around.
They where under remodel, that I understand but it didn't seem to be a very clean place. I'm not saying this for the whole outside I'm talking my room as well. I understand the cleaning crew might miss a spot here and there but after a long day of traveling I would have liked to walk into a clean bathroom. The shower had not 1 but at least 5 pieces of long hair in the shower in different spots. That...

It's a very nice hotel! Nothing too fancy, but better than a Red Roof Inn on any given day! The lobby was clean with extremely friendly and helpful staff! You do have to pay for parking in their parking garage, but it's well supervised, too. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and I would love to have that shower in my bathroom at home! The mirror in the bathroom is also Bluetooth! I'd never seen...
We had a great time staying at the Cambria. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating and gave us a great room. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The room was quite spacious and even though it's right downtown, we didn't hear any noise. Next time we are in town, we will definitely be staying here! Free parking too!
The front desk staff was mostly lovely. Upon arrival, the first room we checked in to wasn’t clean. There were crumbs on the floor near both beds, crumbs and finger prints on the fridge and drawers. The mirrors were streaky and there was garbage left in the bathroom trash. We went down to notify the front desk- I believe his name was Manny?? He was less than impressed and gave us disinfecting wipes...

A very large room, tastefully furnished. Very comfortable bed. Free bottles of water - renewed daily - was a nice touch. The breakfast, whilst not the standard US fare, was excellent. Having an in-house art display was a very interesting concept.
We had superior king with separate living room area. We were three persons. Two slept in king bed, and one slept on sofa bed. The room was nice, mordern and clean. Bathroom was with separate toilet. Shower was large. Wifi was good speed. We parked in garage under hotel. Elevator from garage went up to hotel lobby. A tip, prebook at Parkit, $20 for 24 hours. Breakfast was a la carte. Food was great...
Hotel location is excellent. The lobby is very nice and features a bar with weekday happy hours. There is self parking in the hotel complex for about 28 dollars which while not cheap is convenient. The rooms are large but are quite dated and in need of a refresh. Bed was not as comfortable as it should have been and water pressure in the shower was poor. I expected more out of the Intercontinental...
A group of us went to the bar/lounge area for some birthday celebrations and the staff were very accommodating and quick to serve us. Our waitress even had a special dessert for the birthday person which made the event all the better! Would come here again.
Went there for a night and was a beautiful hotel. Right in the middle of water street. We walked in to awesome lobbies and had awesome staff. We booked an standard room and got complimentary upgrade to the presidential suite on the top floor. Awesome view. Huge room. Completely awesome so happy with this hotel. We will be back for sure.
Went here with the parents for a late Mother's Day celebration and it did not disappoint! We ate at Kil@wat and enjoyed all our dishes- an omelet, the corned beef hash, and (Korean-style fried) chicken & waffles. The server was very nice and attentive without being overbearing. Only downside was that the fried chicken was not that crispy. But if that's the only complaint, you know it was a good meal

The hotel restaurant and bar was exceptional. Excellent food. Good wine. Friendly bartenders. Front desk equally exceptional and accommodating.
Upon check-in the lady at the desk was super nice. Unfortunately the heat wasn't working in our room and the engineer that come up almost 45 min after notifying the front desk couldn't figure it out they changed our room. 2nd room's heat also wouldn't turn on, but the 2nd engineer that came up right away fixed it. Unfortunately the heat had a weird smell, but we gave up and went to sleep due to being...
First and foremost, Kavonn at the service desk was the man. Incredibly helpful, great customer service, and presents himself well. The guy needs a raise, because he’s a great face for the company. Writing this review in hopes he is rewarded in some form or fashion. Secondly, the hotel is situated in a nice part of town. Not much homeless, close to all food options and sports venues. Lastly, the rooms...
Excellent service, especially from the lobby bar. Beautiful atmosphere and comfortable rooms with great views. Would recommend and would return.
We booked our wedding block through The Westin over the weekend of September 10 2022. Booking, and overall communication is the majority of the reason I cannot give this higher stars. It was difficult to get in touch with anyone, and when communication did take place it was very inconsistent. However, the rooms themselves, as well as the restaurant went above and beyond. All rooms were very clean,...
Super modern interior with a nice bathroom and view. Our coffee machine didn't work (in the room) and the "engineer" who was supposed to come fix it never showed up. Concierge said they can't send coffee upstairs. Certainly not the end of the world for us, but not the hospitality we're used to with Westin. Well my stay isn’t quite up lol I just got here. Greeted by the bellman outside. The lady at the front desk was also super helpful and informative of the way breakfast works. As a Hilton Gold member, I was upgraded to a corner king room. Got the best room and view in the house. 2 days before my check-in, I used the app and contacted the staff and they upgraded me at my request. Room 511. This is a beautiful old place with a lot of interesting history. The room was great and the staff also. I especially wanted to compliment the young man who is the director of the breakfast. He was very professional and polite. He's a great asset to this Hotel. We were overall very impressed with this whole place.
I have stayed here several nights on multiple occasions. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are decent, a little noisy and a little too warm, the thermostat only goes down to 68. The location works well for me, within walking distance of pretty much everything in the third ward. You can even easily walk to the Milwaukee Art Museum. But definitely come back.
Beautiful hotel and perfect location for downtown. I can't say enough about the staff and their amazing service during the visit. Check In, Room, Hotel Bar were all top notch. Don't hesitate to book at this Hilton. It's great.

This hotel is really focused on their customers. I needed to check in early, 3 hrs early and they were great about it. Nice rooms. Very clean. Front desk and valet staff was kind and helpful. Good location downtown. Not too far from the action. Bar and restaurant on site is nice.
We stayed at the hotel over night for an out of town wedding and overall the stay was fine. If you are looking for a decent place to store your stuff while you are out and come back to sleep, this is it. Unless you are a light sleeper. Our room was missing complimentary dish soap and washer liquids. They never came back to fulfill our request or apologize for the inconvenience. The room was older yet to our liking. The area wasn't the safest although not a bother to us during our stay. Cafe plaza was delightful to eat at daily.
Amazing old school looking very modern art deco hotel. Staff was Amazing. Rooms were spotless very modern looking, had all the bells and whistle. Outdoor Patio was cool looking so was the in House Cafe. Overall had a wonderful experience will be back for sure next time we come to Harley Davidson Fest.
The ambiance and boutique hotel atmosphere gives you a feeling of elegance, but as you begin to watch the guests, you can let your dress code antennas down! Nice hotel in a old building and fully renovated. Rooms are big and includes a little kitchen. King bed and super clean bathroom. Indeed is a 15-20 minutes walk to restaurants in the third ward, but in the other hand there’s a decent supermarket across the street with a Starbucks. Would totally stay here again.
Great location. The Plaza was built in 1925 and is a rather historical place. But it also means that it's old and lack some of the modern amenities like a spacious bathroom. I would recommend with noting that it is a bit overpriced - not worth $200 per night

We recently booked a hotel block here for our wedding and I wish we would have had a bit better of an experience. Check-in was chaotic and the valet took our car away before we could grab any of our bags or my wedding dress. Great overall hotel stay! Rooms are clean and updated. The front desk was extremely helpful and manager Damon was very on top of things - he offered us some suggestions regarding things to do in the area and was great to chat with. Parking garage is close by with enough parking space. Location is a short walk down to the Milwaukee Public Market (highly recommend)! Will definitely be back.
Mike the valet made our night special at the moment we pulled up. He was kind, funny and just had a great genuine smile. We continued to check in and Jaide was just as kind! She was knowledgeable and friendly and really made us feel welcome! The room was great but the staff really made the experience. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks Milwaukee!
We arrived in Milwaukee Downtown Marriott around June 14 or 15th, where we spent the night before heading up to Mt Calvary. Our room was clean, stylish, quiet and comfortable! Great shower! Wonderful stay: Great location in Historic Third Ward, our double room lovely/spacious & very attentive customer service. Just before a wedding event, my shoe strap broke. Abdullah at front desk was very nice and helpful guy. It took me to book room only couple minutes. Reasonable price, room and hallway were very clean, and smells good too. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars they deserve it 😁
An ok stay. Pretty quiet. Employees don’t smile at all and don’t seem to be happy. Rooms are so, so. Beds are good and comfy. Their water pressure though is something to look forward to. You can get a massage with the pressure of the tub water which is good.

James the night auditor was incredibly rude on the phone recently. However Miranda was extremely polite today. Renovations are happening but don’t let that ruin your stay. Pool and hot tub are working great as well as restaurant. Courtesy airport shuttle is a must too:)
This hotel is literally 5 mins from airport, which is super convenient for me. Gas station is along that short route too, that’s a plus. The price is competitive. I booked the package with breakfast, since it’s only 5 dollars more. The quality of breakfast is questionable, especially the scramble eggs. The place is reasonable. I did use their gym, it was small but sufficient. Hotel room is standard...
The room was great for a short 2 night stay. The hotel was loud tho. 2 of the staff members where into it walking threw the first floor hallway arguing very loud which was very unprofessional. One of the staff members stated she would have another person come up to the hotel and hurt the other employee witch was scary. Due to that I will not stay again. But to each is own. The rooms were clean and...
My fiancée and I came here for a 3-day mini vacation and to see a show at the Pabst Theater. The location is fantastic and has many stores and restaurants nearby. The Pabst Theater was only a 10-minute drive from here. The hotel was also fantastic. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and also very good sizes. (The hot tub easily holds up to 15 people!) The room had everything including a range...
Arrived at 230am. The room was neat and spacious. Ruined my dress shirt with the iron however, because the iron had plastic burnt on it. I should have checked it first.
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would describe them as professional, welcoming, and warm. Rooms were clean and tidy.

I had a great stay. The place has a nice staff, reasonable rate, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and a pool. Definitely stay here. We were able to check in right away. The place is great.
lol at some of these reviews. The place is great. I had no problems. I come to milwaukee a lot and this is the best deal. Reasonable rate, free parking, good food. I just want to swim in that pool! :)
It was a last minute decision. I was able to get a really nice room up on 4th floor with free parking anywhere in the lot. The lady at the front desk was very nice and knew everything about downtown.
I had a great stay! Spacious room with plenty of amenities. There was a lot of snow in the parking lot but the maintenance was on top of things! The front desk was very friendly and I will return!

I read all of the one star reviews but decided to book anyway. I am SO glad I did. This hotel is fantastic. We stayed on a week day and there were no events coming up so the rate was incredibly reasonable. This place was fantastic. It is beautifully appointed. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The coffee shop downstairs was quick and served most of what is on a Starbucks drink menu. The hotel...
Loved this hotel. There was a line at check-in because there was only one person working the counter. Totally understandable and it was clear that she was doing her best. However, one of the workers came along and offered drinks to the people waiting in line. That was a new one for me. After that I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Maybe I'm easy to please but I thought it was a great gesture. The room...
This is ,in my opinion ,one of the most beautiful hotels in Milwaukee. The convenience of The Rave nightclub being across the street makes it even better. I don't really like the location in that part of Milwaukee, but they did a great job of coinciding old fashioned in beautifully modern. The elevators are only a little scary. LOL. just kidding. The rooms are very classy and most of them have a great...
This is a cool hotel! It has a swanky feel from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the bellhop, to the moment you pull open the door to enter the elevator, to your first steps into your room and view the full mini bar. Hotel staff were very welcoming and kind; the bed was comfy and room had everything we needed and all in working order: Mr. Kennedy Johnson was the perfect shuttle driver; this...
Nice hotel, clean and accessible. Very helpful staff. Dave the shuttle driver was very helpful, polite and a great representative for customer service. The 2 bartenders were amazing, all while carrying the weigh of their coworker who call out. Front desk were also helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for retaining awesome employees!
Beautiful art deco hotel. Service was excellent. Free shuttle very convenient. Rooms are recently remodeled. Not a great area but the hotel property itself seems very safe. Will stay again.
