Staff was attentive and professional. They really knew the area. Our flight was late getting in so we checked in quite late. We received a free upgrade to a nicer room which was much appreciated. The restaurant was pricey with small portions but the food was good. The spa was clean but not very extensive. The best part was the view, absolutely stunning. Would stay again.

Service, style, and more at Gurney's! It's an incredible resort from the moment you pull up, to the moment you walk in. This is a slice of heaven on Long Island! Beautiful water views of rolling waves seen from most points within the restaurants, lobby, common areas. The new-ish oceanfront rooms are lovely. Relaxing by the firepit on the porch was perfect during the cold spell in April. If you want to enjoy this upscale retreat but can't afford the summer prices, definitely come during early spring for their spa packages...

be aware for those who are handicapped! stairs everywhere, and only one service elevator. to get to the spa, it’s 2 flights down with no elevator!

I love Gurney's. It's my relaxing vacation spot. All the changes they've made over the last few years have made it very very "posh"/"premium". Though, I do miss the fire pit nights without music, and the ridiculously expensive Cabana minimums when it's empty on a Friday. I also think Scarpetta is overrated.

Disappointing factors were that the parking is a little further than normal hotels only DVDs from the front desk are available in addition to the cable TV. Might want to double check the times for the restaurant as well. BUT its in a great location for watching the sunset or taking a drive around the area. Staff were polite and the room was great.

These "rooms" are peoples private condos that they rent. I think every one may be different. We stayed in a cozy loft room on the first floor with a patio and easy pool access. We had a great time here, it’s a family friendly resort, even my two teenagers love it, which says a lot . We also book a private bonfire on the beach so much fun. The Surf Club was so amazing! Pool was spectacular and bathhouse so clutch with being on the beach all day. The music they played was also a great way to relax and enjoy the pool area.

The one bedroom apartment I’m staying at is very nice and the beach is very clean but the commute in its self is a bit stressful because it’s so far out car or train it’s still a very long ride but if you want to get away this a nice place to come for a few days

The wavecrest is beautiful, quiet, and clean. The staff is amazing. The food truck is delicious. We plan on making a tradition going every summer. We have been going to Wavecrest for many years. Only place that the beach is right there walk out of your room and you are on the beach. Plus they have a nice indoor heated pool. The staff are all very nice and the rooms are comfortable. This is our great place to relax and feel good.

Great place! I stayed here in September for three years in a row prior to the pandemic. This place is a great efficiency stay, bring your own food to BBQ out back. But It's amazing how the prices have literally tripled. :( Wow! The rates three years ago was $159-179 during the week.

We have been coming to the Beach Plum every year during the summer since I was very young, and every single time we absolutely love it. The staff is so nice and we always get very clean rooms. This time we stayed in unit 9 and it was one of our favorite as it is easily accessible, has a view of the ocean, and the beds are EXTREMELY comfortable. I can’t wait to come back next summer.

We stayed in a corner unit with a bedroom and a living area that had a very convenient and well equipped kitchenette. Rooms are serviced everyday, beds made, cleaned and towel replenished. I had a wonderful time at briney breezes. When we arrived, the office was nice and helpful with recommendations in the area. Since we went in September, we really enjoyed the heated pool! Really liked our stay at Ocean Resort Inn last week, stayed 3 nights. Check in and out was easy and no fuss. The room was clean and comfortable. We used the mini fridge to keep water and snacks cold.
