She deserves a raise! The room was spacious, the best for us was the two bathrooms! There was ample seating room, the room was clean, and had a great layout

This is a typical hotel experience with very nice staff. The first thing my girlfriend was happy about was the pink bathroom lol. The beach is right there and the pool has a bar where the bartender is very funny and kind

The room could use some updating in regards to the kitchen area and some fixtures as some were rusted. We also had an issue with our balcony door not locking. We were on the 2nd floor so this was an issue

I forgot to get her name, but she's African American, wears glasses, and wore a grey sweater over her uniform. She was literally the happiest person I have ever met in the service industry

I would give this hotel 5 stars, but there are a few MINOR reasons why I cannot. First of all, the service was great! There was one employee that was exceptional

I told my husband she's like Disneyland. Driving into the parking garage after check in she was walking into work from the garage, she smiled and waved

Lighting could be better, as it is dim at night, but otherwise no complaints here! The pools are large and well kept, and the amenities are nice. View is great! Everything is a little old, but who says old to be bad

This hotel saved our whole trip. We were originally at La Quinta Inn and did not have a good experience so we were grateful there were some rooms left here. The location is great and the staff is friendly

Perfect spot for our girl's weekend in early June! So many conveniences and amenities on site; even with less-than-perfect weather we had a great time. Room was clean and beds comfortable, room to spread out

Where do I even start? This was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend reserving an ocean view room, because waking up to that is great. Check in was super quick and easy. The lobby was nice and well decorated

Carpet was newer and clean, but lampshades were rusted, the patio screen door was busted and our sheets had longer black hair on them. The heater vent was loud and musty. Bathroom was clean but needs to be overhauled

Rooms are dated and have some wear and tear to them, but it's ocean city and you'd rarely find a room that didn't have some years on it. Side ocean view room with nice view

The woman who checked us in made us feel like we were bothering her. Everytime I tried to say something she would talk over me. The gentleman who checked us out was very nice

The woman was super pleasant, and no questions asked refunded our full deposit! I will be staying here during the summer just because of this experience and hope other hotels take notice of this amazing customer service! Keep up the great work!

My husband and I were planning on attending the Oceans Calling festival but due to hurricane Ian it was cancelled with less than 24-hour notice. I called the hotel and explained to them our situation

Being right on the north end (the quiet end) of the board walk was very nice. The room was clean, everything in the bathroom/kitchen worked just fine and the pools were great for the kids

Room was clean and while the outdoor pool is really small, there are two (one inside and one outside) so it makes up for it

I literally never leave reviews on anything but had such a good experience that I really wanted to hype them up haha! They even let us park there for the day after check out so we could have more beach time! 100% staying here again

There was a wired service person on the elevator who was unnecessarily trying to start communication. It was creepy and I felt annoyed 😒. However, some other service ladies were nice

Actually the nicest staff ever! I felt so comfortable checking in/out and asking questions at the desk (they even remembered my name!). We stayed in the back building so it wasn't rowdy being near the boardwalk

They offered me to dry my clothes when I was surprised that they had no dryer where as the managers asked me to go 2 blocks to dry our wet clothes

The best part was walk to the beach. I can’t express how convenient that was for us. One simple issue was dirty Microwave handles👎

Absolutely loved it here. Nice clean rooms. The staff was absolutely amazing as well. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Highly recommend!

After they closed and sold our beloved Dunes Manor, the hotel we were married at, we chose The Princess Royale for our anniversary getaway! We love the location! Stayed in a newly renovated king room with an ocean view

I love the location of this resort, it’s cool for the kids and I like how the indoor pool is in the middle of the place. The pictures online look better than in person, everything is a little outdated in the rooms

The arcade barley had any space or games. They do not have complementary breakfast but they do have a nice coffee shop in the lobby. Overall this place was pretty good and it was right off the beach

We had an Ocean View room, but the only problem is the balconies are super small and the cut them into a triangle shape so you can only “use” half of the space

Overall this was a great experience. It was my first time at Ocean City so I was a little skeptical about coming to a hotel I didn’t know

Large balcony looking at the Ocean! Love how they had the credit for breakfast/Starbucks/bar for diamond members. All the staff members we came into contact with were very friendly! This place is a resort

Room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view. Restaurant had excellent food. My wife and I stayed on the second floor above the slide pool. No excessive noise from the young ones at the pool below

Room service was on point and super friendly, the restaurants and bars inside the hotel were also tasty and with plenty of options, the bartender in the outdoor swim up bar Elias was super accommodating, and a great mixology! I have no complaints at all, we will definitely keep in coming back to this location, definitely won me over!

I booked the room in last minute of my trip, Boz the front desk manager was able to provide a suite and was very good to explain the places to visit around ocean city and about the discounts this hotel can help us to earn

the indoor pool was fun for all of us too! we only stayed one night and it was amazing, I loved that it some what close to the board walk and right on the beach, it smelled amazing and was just so clean

It was February so we thought everything would be closed since it was the off season. We were wrong! There was an amazing kite competition/show and plenty of shops and restaurants to visit

Being in the off season, we got a great deal for an ocean front room near the top floor. The view was incredible and sitting on the balcony enjoying the view really made us want to come back again

We pop over for our Shrimp dinner every year at the Coral Reef bar and restaurant. There inside pool is by the restaurant, the kids and families enjoy it. There are lots of elevators so you are constantly waiting

Everything was nearly spotless when we first checked in. The pools and restaurants were very nice. The food at the Coral Reef restaurant and deep end bar was very good. A little pricey but for the area, fitting

The rooms are all suits and feature a full size kitchenette with a solid stove and oven. Full size microwave and full size fridge. Each floor has free washers and dryers along with vending and ice

This hotel has to be in the top 5 I've stayed in over the years. It's absolutely perfect location to the boardwalk and other activities in the area. The rooms are amazing and very well kept

The roof top bar on the 8th floor must be a hit because people who weren’t staying at the hotel were coming in for drinks. The parking lot is big so you don’t have to worry about searching for parking constantly

In walking distance to the beach, this newly refurbished hotel deserves 5 stars! The staff was absolutely amazing, with front desk representative Audrey leading the way! She made our trip so welcoming that we extended our stay! Another amenity that sets this establishment apart, is the pool equipped with a large spa and a splash pad for the kids!

Rooms have a mini fridge but In the ice machine room by the elevators, there is a microwave which is nice. We saw lots of dogs if you need a pet friendly hotel. They even have a little grassy area for the dogs

They strap it all on the back rack. The pool is nice and very clean. The splash pad is good for toddlers and they have a giant connect four game

I highly recommend this hotel! It’s right next to mini golf and ice cream! Lots to do within walking distance

There was something splattered on the wall above one of the beds. I asked to have someone change the sheets, and no one ever came. As a matter of fact, we never had maid service the whole time we were there

After much research I finally decided to stay at "Castles in the Sand". It's not just a hotel, its a resort! It's great for kids (mine are 8 & 10) and adults as well

Everything was organized with great attention to detail and staff were courteous, professional, and flexible the evening of the event. The hotel's recommended vendors for catering were all excellent

Organized a large outdoor event on the hotel property staffed by hotel security and food service employees. The hotel could not have been more accommodating or easier to work with

The entertainment for the children is excellent, and I must say the hotel staff is very friendly. I love that everyone is kind and approachable

This is my fourth time staying here overall. It’s definitely enjoyable for the price, and where we usually stay at is pretty close to the beach. We had our doorknob break apart and had someone come in to fix it

Got a fantastic rate in off season. Stayed in oceanfront room that walked out onto their patio. Bar/Grotto Pizza closed for season. Only downside was indoor pool was very murky so we didn't swim

The ocean front room with the balcony had an amazing view, the room was very clean, but the carpet needs to go or an update, beds could be firmer, couch definitely needs to be replaced

The staff was friendly and helpful, the outside pool was cool and relaxing. There's an indoor pool but we didn't get to it. There's around 4 different parking areas so parking wasn't a real issue

First time stay, loved it! The location is great, not a super crowded beach out front. There's Grottos pizza, The Fractured Prune and ice cream and snow cone place right under the hotel

The Commander is a great hotel. I got the Captain suite and there is a huge balcony with ocean view and futon outside. The shower is so big and fancy I love it

My family and I are looking forward to next vacation and staying here again!

We frequent Ocean City just about every year as a family and this location has become our go-to hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms have always been clean and the location on the boardwalk is excellent

The staff was super friendly, the room was spotless with a BEAUTIFUL oceanfront view! We enjoyed the balcony despite the freezing temps. The lobby was very cozy, felt very welcoming

Staff was able to identify my needs before asked. Offered 2nd parking pass for someone arriving later. Woman made sure breakfast items were restocked & area clean. Everyone was extremely nice & welcoming

The room was very large and clean! The front desk staff was excellent! The atrium was so cool!! It really made this hotel stand out to us as one of the best. With two hot tubs and an indoor pool in it

Room was clean, nice location with ocean view. Breakfast was good with make own waffles, danish, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Only complaint was indoor pool not heated. Customer service was the best

This hotel was amazing! It was one of the most unique hotels we have stayed in

Plus I have mobility issues so having a kitchenette in the room, a cafe downstairs with a bar, indoor pool, hot tubs and the entertaining parrots in the atrium (warning, they are vocal especially in the am) provided all my needs in case I couldn't get out

There is also a great lounge on the second floor for relaxing when you need to rest and want something different from your room… the food is excellent, and they have a great happy hour! The breakfast offers several hot and cold options, and the staff go out of their way to help guests as needed

The hotel location is centrally located in ocean city with easy access to fantastic restaurants. The hotel is lovely and exceptionally clean! I have already recommended it to family & friends!

We very much enjoyed our stay here when visiting for a music festival. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean. The balcony was a great place to relax, as well

They even provided free shuttle service to the concert, and although we did not need to take advantage of the offer, it was a great benefit to others staying there

I stayed at the Residence Inn for a few weeks while my home was being renovated. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a longer stay

Breakfast was well stocked for the most part and much appreciated as well

We had to come in to town for the weekend to tend to some personal affairs, and were pleasantly surprised that the off season nightly rate was only $79! We hadn't stayed at this hotel since 1998, and while it could use some updating, the stay was very nice

The room was huge, and the view from the sliding glass door was magnificent. The sofa and bed could both use to be replaced - the sofa had significant signs of wear, and the bed was lumpy and hard

The kitchenette and bathroom were both a little dated, and showed signs of age and wear, but both were functional and clean - the bathroom was VERY well lit, which I appreciate

There is construction going on, so I'm hoping there will be improvements the next time we stay

We stayed on the 5th floor, and our room had tile floors and a vaulted ceiling

Using it as a couch was actually painful, and our younger guests, who used it as a bed, had to take the couch cushions and place them under the mattress to get some kind of support, but even that didn't help them

And the VIEW! WOW! Its right in the middle of the action, right on the boardwalk, yet if you want a quiet place to retreat this is your place. One of the best places we've stayed in Ocean City

We absolutely love the charm and quirkiness of this place. The artwork, the furnishings are amazing. The rooms are clean comfortable and spacious

Wonderful place with the old time hotel feel. I would say best for just adults alone with no kids. This hotel is older, so if you have kids a more modern hotel would suffice. Also would suggest the ocean front rooms

The rooms all have ocean front with balconies and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms also have a mini fridge and microwave which makes traveling with children easier

The hotel has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool is available at their motel style property right night door. There are lovely activities like beach yoga and movies at the pool. Things to know - The hotel is older

However the pricing is outrageous and when we were there the entire Restaurant was neatly empty. There was one other person in there. Despite that, it took around 45 minutes to receive our food

We have stayed at Dunes Court and Dunes Manor this summer and can say they both are great places to enjoy a beach vacation without breaking the bank. The Monor is a higher end experience

My girlfriends food was completely cold by the time it came. Both of our meals were very mediocre and with 1 appetizer and 2 entrees we paid a little over $98

We opted for the check and a box so we could reheat the food in our room. So I'd totally recommend the hotel but suggest avoiding the restaurant completely

Maybe they could add one more comfortable chair in the living room for more people to sit but, overall it was comfy! They checked in with us regularly and we had no desire to go to the Boardwalk because everything was within reach for us

The rooms were very clean and freshly painted. The appliances in the kitchen were new. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo and loved it. Very close to restaurants, grocery and convenience stores and a great view of the ocean

I couldn't have asked for more! I walked into a very clean space and the views of the ocean were incredible. I loved the little coffee and tea area on the counter. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable

This place was perfect for a family of 6. Plenty of space, 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen with full size refrigerator and stove, microwave, dishwasher and all the needed cooking supplies

I love to spend family time at this hotel in summer. It was my second visit to this hotel. They renovated units so it was even better staying this time. Staffs are very responsible and nice

We stayed on the first floor with ocean view room. Staff was amazing the entire stay. At the quieter end of the boardwalk and only a 30 min walk to the pier at the other end of the boardwalk

My room was very clean and modern. The pool area was very clean and comfortable. My 10 year old son loved the pool and I enjoyed sitting under the umbrella relaxing. The area was perfect, away from the crowd

They text you to see if you need anything the coffee is amazingggg!!!!! The wonderful young lady at the front desk in the am is a delight! She is super nice and super pleasant a wonderful face to walk into

Hotel is in a great location because it's right on the boardwalk. They have a great pool for those who don't like the beach like myself. The bands that they get are great

However several upgrades needs to be done within the hotel especially for the prices of their rooms. You would expect to see some improvements over the years

This hotel is old & needs to be renovated! It smells musty & the rooms are small. However, they have a great coffee bar & rocking chairs on a huge porch so you can 2 people watch on the boardwalk.

Overall the hotel is pretty dirty and outdated. Pool and hot tubs need to be redone. Drunk people and smoking everywhere. Maid staff was friendly and did a good job but it's hard to shine a turd

The 3 star rating is do to the room I was given on the third floor at the very end of the hallway. The bathroom had mold in it and was very out dated. Bath tub could be replaced also
