The place is good and comfy because it's on the beach. I don't know why it said that the check in is at 5PM. Since I travelled half the world I wanted to make sure that they are joking (coz I never heard of such an example, ever) and I went there at noon 30 and I checked in without a problem. The staff was really smooth. The room was nice.

Beautiful property right on the beachfront. Spacious bedroom suites overlooking the beach and walking distance to a variety of plenty restaurants, shops, etc. Close proximity to Ocean City Boardwalk, plenty of hotel amenities, very clean hotel, good room service. We will definitely be back...would recomend to anyone, especially couples!

Overall- we enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the maids are great and the view is amazing, but we weren’t able to use the indoor pool because of some kids trying to make it a big bubble bath. Also it was right before the outside pools were ready to be used yet so not very happy about that. Nice but with flaws The shower/bath was terrible. Outdated and crazy how the bathtub and shower operated. Needs updating to walk-in shower. Also, our room was at the end of the hall and the wind was howling through the door all night.

Was a very mundane check in experience. Was not told about the parking fee per day. Was told there was complimentary water in the room, was 1.50 per bottle. Was no parking on site. Room was great.

My only gripe about this location is the parking and the fact that a lot of people did not have parking passes but still parked and I had to find parking on the street

Great location on the boardwalk with great views. Very family friendly with indoor and heated outdoor pools open before Memorial Day. Working on the outdoor kids pool to have it open soon. Rooms are large and efficiencies. They could use an update soon but are fine for now. One of the cleanest hotel in Boardwalk! If you’re a Starbucks lover. It’s one right next door. We got the ocean view King size. Very spacious! If you have kids. They have 3 pools. One indoor and two outside. One being kiddie with slides ( was sad our visit it was closed being renovated.) The hotel is right on the board walk. Great restaurants next door. Bike rental downstairs. Groups of people were noisy on their balconies until late at night. Our showerhead also did not work correctly, which made taking a shower more difficult. Location of the property is good, walkable to most things near the boardwalk.

The Doubletree Hilton proved to be the perfect choice for our spring break getaway. Not only was the pricing highly satisfactory, but the accommodations and service surpassed our expectations. Additionally, the staff were exceptional, making our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, we look forward to staying there again.

I gave this hotel a 4 star and the reason why i couldn't give it a 5 because 1 i checked our bed and it had a noticeable stain not sure if it was a permanent stain 2 our mirror had figure marks and lastly beds are alittle uncomfortable you can feel the inner spring.The staff were incredibly friendly. The Commander is a great hotel. I got the Captain suite and there is a huge balcony with ocean view and futon outside. The shower is so big and fancy I love it. King size bed and all at a decent price compared to other places. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful place with the old time hotel feel. I would say best for just adults alone with no kids. This hotel is older, so if you have kids a more modern hotel would suffice. Despite having booked with a no-refund policy through a third party the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure that we got a full refund. From start to finish this was one of the best hotel experience that we’ve had in OCMD. the owners were the nicest people we’ve encountered. The one owner laid out homemade baked goods each evening which was a fantastic bonus. We left a hat in the room during check out and they took the time to send it back to us. Halfway through a two-night stay at Assateague, my tent met its unfortunate demise to a wind-driven rainstorm (RIP tent). Luckily, this hotel was only 9 miles away and had vacancies. I didn't experience many amenities, but the shower, bed, and towels were great.

Service was friendly and the hotel was clean. The location is very convenient. My biggest knock is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bed lacked support and was hard like a sheet of plywood. I would have been just as well off sleeping on the floor. After staying here for two nights my back was killing me. Great location close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. The room had two double beds and a fold out couch to keep my sons from kicking each other during the night! Housekeeping visited every day (unlike some of the bigger hotels who don't because of short staffing).

The room had 2 beds, a small fridge, air conditioning, microwave, bathroom and a tv. Don't really have any complaints about the room as it had the necessities. My only complaint would be that the toilet in the bathroom was too small. Everything else though was acceptable for the price we paid.

We were on the 3rd floor at the end of the hall. There was a nice view of the bay. The room was small, but comfy. The best thing about it is the fact that it's only 2 blocks from the boardwalk.
