Hotels with pool in Ocean City

This is a typical hotel experience with very nice staff. The first thing my girlfriend was happy about was the pink bathroom lol. The beach is right there and the pool has a bar where the bartender is very funny and kind

The room could use some updating in regards to the kitchen area and some fixtures as some were rusted. We also had an issue with our balcony door not locking. We were on the 2nd floor so this was an issue

I forgot to get her name, but she's African American, wears glasses, and wore a grey sweater over her uniform. She was literally the happiest person I have ever met in the service industry

I would give this hotel 5 stars, but there are a few MINOR reasons why I cannot. First of all, the service was great! There was one employee that was exceptional

She deserves a raise! The room was spacious, the best for us was the two bathrooms! There was ample seating room, the room was clean, and had a great layout

I told my husband she's like Disneyland. Driving into the parking garage after check in she was walking into work from the garage, she smiled and waved

Lighting could be better, as it is dim at night, but otherwise no complaints here! The pools are large and well kept, and the amenities are nice. View is great! Everything is a little old, but who says old to be bad

The outdoor one was great and had poolside drinks and snacks and the indoor pool was great for a break from the sun. Our only complaints: We were on the second floor which had an open roof past the balcony

The room was very clean, and housekeeping came by daily to refresh towels and tidy up, which was much appreciated with all of the beach sand that tracked in

Rooms are very spacious and fairly clean. Lots of counter space and the kitchenette has a lot of storage space

Perfect spot for our girl's weekend in early June! So many conveniences and amenities on site; even with less-than-perfect weather we had a great time. Room was clean and beds comfortable, room to spread out

Folks in the upper floors kept throwing food down to the birds on the roof, which was really aggravating and noisy. Also the bathroom was extremely tiny and dated

Carpet was newer and clean, but lampshades were rusted, the patio screen door was busted and our sheets had longer black hair on them. The heater vent was loud and musty. Bathroom was clean but needs to be overhauled

Rooms are dated and have some wear and tear to them, but it's ocean city and you'd rarely find a room that didn't have some years on it. Side ocean view room with nice view

The woman who checked us in made us feel like we were bothering her. Everytime I tried to say something she would talk over me. The gentleman who checked us out was very nice

The hotel staff were so nice and helpful! They have two outside pools. I was disappointed there was no indoor pool but there is a community indoor pool up the road for a small extra fee

I actually never got to stay in the hotel, but I want to commend their excellent customer service

It was located in the older building fifth floor. We could see the ocean and street very well

Room was clean and while the outdoor pool is really small, there are two (one inside and one outside) so it makes up for it

I literally never leave reviews on anything but had such a good experience that I really wanted to hype them up haha! They even let us park there for the day after check out so we could have more beach time! 100% staying here again

There was a wired service person on the elevator who was unnecessarily trying to start communication. It was creepy and I felt annoyed 😒. However, some other service ladies were nice

Actually the nicest staff ever! I felt so comfortable checking in/out and asking questions at the desk (they even remembered my name!). We stayed in the back building so it wasn't rowdy being near the boardwalk

They offered me to dry my clothes when I was surprised that they had no dryer where as the managers asked me to go 2 blocks to dry our wet clothes

The best part was walk to the beach. I can’t express how convenient that was for us. One simple issue was dirty Microwave handles👎

The rooms were clean and comfortable, just small and a little oddly set up. The pool is a little small but still nice and and the patio area around it is cute. Parking is very limited, though so be prepared for that

The place was small, and a little dated. It could definitely use a really good cleaning however it was a good place to stay for the price. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the staff made sure we had what we needed

I’ve been coming to Ocean City for a couple years now and this is by far one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms were clean and a good size room with two beds. They also have chairs out in the balcony

Went there with my girlfriend and it was perfext for young couples on a budget. Right by the beach is great! Plan on going again when staying in ocean city.

The only down side is that they have the outside lights on all night, no curtains in the room so you have the light shining in your room all night

I love the location of this resort, it’s cool for the kids and I like how the indoor pool is in the middle of the place. The pictures online look better than in person, everything is a little outdated in the rooms

They made sure our visit went as smoothly as possible. I really enjoyed our Atrium suite overlooking the pool. My only comment about the pool would be the hours

Ocean View, friendly staff, clean rooms. Area was clean and beach/baar pool were lovely.

Our stay was GREAT!!! The staff was very attentive and helpful. We rented a condo, it had 2 bedrooms one with a king size bed the other had 2 queen size bed the living room also had a pull out couch

Absolutely loved it here. Nice clean rooms. The staff was absolutely amazing as well. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Highly recommend!

After they closed and sold our beloved Dunes Manor, the hotel we were married at, we chose The Princess Royale for our anniversary getaway! We love the location! Stayed in a newly renovated king room with an ocean view

Room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view. Restaurant had excellent food. My wife and I stayed on the second floor above the slide pool. No excessive noise from the young ones at the pool below

The view was beautiful! The pools were great, my kid loved the outdoor pools, especially the kids section. I loved the hot tub and the swim up bar, lots of options and prices are decent

Room service was on point and super friendly, the restaurants and bars inside the hotel were also tasty and with plenty of options, the bartender in the outdoor swim up bar Elias was super accommodating, and a great mixology! I have no complaints at all, we will definitely keep in coming back to this location, definitely won me over!

My wife and I stayed the last week in September. Didn't have to touch our luggage. The staff hiked it to the room for us and set them where we wanted them. Staff very polite with fast service

Came here with my family for Labor Day weekend, we had such an amazing time! The service was great, the rooms were super comfy and spacious. We booked a second floor beach front suit

It has so much to do! The hot tub was very big and was so nice to relax in! Definitely one of the top hotels in Ocean City!! Thanks for a great stay we will be back!

We pop over for our Shrimp dinner every year at the Coral Reef bar and restaurant. There inside pool is by the restaurant, the kids and families enjoy it. There are lots of elevators so you are constantly waiting

Everything was nearly spotless when we first checked in. The pools and restaurants were very nice. The food at the Coral Reef restaurant and deep end bar was very good. A little pricey but for the area, fitting

The rooms are all suits and feature a full size kitchenette with a solid stove and oven. Full size microwave and full size fridge. Each floor has free washers and dryers along with vending and ice

This hotel has to be in the top 5 I've stayed in over the years. It's absolutely perfect location to the boardwalk and other activities in the area. The rooms are amazing and very well kept

It was February so we thought everything would be closed since it was the off season. We were wrong! There was an amazing kite competition/show and plenty of shops and restaurants to visit

The people you meet in the elevators are friendly and nice and say they enjoy the hotel. Actually may look at staying there. The only problem no Rum Shack

The people in check in could've been more personable but the house keeping made up for it. They even came to our room and took out the trash and gave us extra towels. We will definitely visit again

Great amenities! Friendly staff! Seriously no complaints for all the years we’ve been coming! Donna was an amazing bartender, she deserves a raise! All the staff at the pools were amazing! Rooms were clean and staff cleaning the 3rd floor were always great

Not heated surprisingly but the kids didn't mind at all. The splash pad and mini golf were also fun. The grills were great for a low-key dinner outside by the lake. Shuttle runs every 20 minutes

Something for everyone in every age group. Many families we met have been coming back every year for 10+ years

We had a great experience my mom and I! Not super fancy but a comfortable and clean place to sleep

The staff were all very friendly. The life guard joked around with the children. The drinks we're so good. The room was small and very basic but everything else was fantastic! My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

They strap it all on the back rack. The pool is nice and very clean. The splash pad is good for toddlers and they have a giant connect four game

Customer service was excellent, and they accomodated an early check-in by a few hours with no questions! Only negatives I had were the walls being a little thin, and the TV in the room only had cable, but for the rate that we received on the room, I was overjoyed with my stay

Location is like a block from the beach. Nice pool and kids splash area. Don't expect great breakfast. But they have it if you want it

In walking distance to the beach, this newly refurbished hotel deserves 5 stars! The staff was absolutely amazing, with front desk representative Audrey leading the way! She made our trip so welcoming that we extended our stay! Another amenity that sets this establishment apart, is the pool equipped with a large spa and a splash pad for the kids!

Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and loved the pool, hot tub, and splash pad

Very cozy hotel! The staff was super courteous and helpful. The room was spotless and the beds made for a blissful sleep. Nice little spot, across the road from the beach (we could kinda see the ocean from our window)

Everything was organized with great attention to detail and staff were courteous, professional, and flexible the evening of the event. The hotel's recommended vendors for catering were all excellent

Organized a large outdoor event on the hotel property staffed by hotel security and food service employees. The hotel could not have been more accommodating or easier to work with

After much research I finally decided to stay at "Castles in the Sand". It's not just a hotel, its a resort! It's great for kids (mine are 8 & 10) and adults as well

The entertainment for the children is excellent, and I must say the hotel staff is very friendly. I love that everyone is kind and approachable

This is my fourth time staying here overall. It’s definitely enjoyable for the price, and where we usually stay at is pretty close to the beach. We had our doorknob break apart and had someone come in to fix it

Got a fantastic rate in off season. Stayed in oceanfront room that walked out onto their patio. Bar/Grotto Pizza closed for season. Only downside was indoor pool was very murky so we didn't swim

The ocean front room with the balcony had an amazing view, the room was very clean, but the carpet needs to go or an update, beds could be firmer, couch definitely needs to be replaced

The staff was friendly and helpful, the outside pool was cool and relaxing. There's an indoor pool but we didn't get to it. There's around 4 different parking areas so parking wasn't a real issue

My friends and all left sick after the 3rd day due to all the built up dust in the vents. The pool front room is as advertised, minus the cleanliness. The room had a strange smell upon entering

First time stay, loved it! The location is great, not a super crowded beach out front. There's Grottos pizza, The Fractured Prune and ice cream and snow cone place right under the hotel

The Commander is a great hotel. I got the Captain suite and there is a huge balcony with ocean view and futon outside. The shower is so big and fancy I love it

We frequent Ocean City just about every year as a family and this location has become our go-to hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms have always been clean and the location on the boardwalk is excellent

The staff was super friendly, the room was spotless with a BEAUTIFUL oceanfront view! We enjoyed the balcony despite the freezing temps. The lobby was very cozy, felt very welcoming

Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Ocean City Oceanfront. The service was exceptional and there was absolutely no concern(s) during our visit

Unknown to us at the time, my younger daughter left her purse behind and it was located by the cleaning staff after our departure

Stay here every year and never disappointed except for the occasional skunk smell(Marijuana) in the hallways. But where don't you smell it these days besides your own home. No matter what, though, we will never not stay

Surprisingly !!! Fridge worked well. Good water pressure and remained hot. However , one night there was a constant drip coming from the room above. Called the front desk and someone came to my door within 2 minutes

When I walked through the door , I was pleasantly surprised. The sliding glass door was a little dirty but not a big deal. I used my eyeglass cleaner -WINDEX- to clean it. Balcony was nice size with two chairs

One morning was 5:30 and this young lady ( about18 or so) was screaming and shouting and didn't respect anyone. Shameful !!! The young lady that maintained my room was friendly by the name of Andrea

All good except the $25 charge for earlier check in before 4 o'clock. Room was ready and it was around 3 o'clock we arrived. Long line for 4 o'clock took 35 minutes to check in.

Room was clean, nice location with ocean view. Breakfast was good with make own waffles, danish, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Only complaint was indoor pool not heated. Customer service was the best

The room was very large and clean! The front desk staff was excellent! The atrium was so cool!! It really made this hotel stand out to us as one of the best. With two hot tubs and an indoor pool in it

Plus I have mobility issues so having a kitchenette in the room, a cafe downstairs with a bar, indoor pool, hot tubs and the entertaining parrots in the atrium (warning, they are vocal especially in the am) provided all my needs in case I couldn't get out

Liked the location, easy parking, and indoor and outdoor pool options. Stayed end of May and thought it was worth the price. The bad: I think I stayed here 15 years ago and it hasn’t been updated since then

The bathrooms were dirty, and a bunch of dirty water came dripping on my head (we stayed on the fourth floor) The outdoor pool is really nice

Staff was able to identify my needs before asked. Offered 2nd parking pass for someone arriving later. Woman made sure breakfast items were restocked & area clean. Everyone was extremely nice & welcoming

Located close to Ocean City boardwalk and beaches (6 minutes without traffic. ) The pool no longer has a slide and the buckets are rusted and not functioning. The outdoor furniture only had cushions o e day we were there

Called at 11:30 pm and asked for an 8 am wake up call; at 9 am it still hadn't come. Also, went to lobby at 8 pm and complimentary cookies were gone

The actual area is NOT like the website pictures. The hotel is under construction/ renovations so part of the parking lot is blocked and the end of the hallways is blocked off. The hallways were uncomfortably warm

Hotel staff was very nice especially joy. We were satisfied with the room except the dresser had dust behind the TV & excessive ice build-up in the freezer. The exterior of the building could use more clean up

This may greatly affect the level of cleanliness of your individual room. It's an older hotel in a location convenient to Ocean City and Assateague that sees a lot of use. Not glamorous but gets the job done

Good for a short stay but could be hard to get rest long term depending on noisy people in and out (again thin walls). Could use an updated shower head, ours stopped flow of water completely during showers

Great, friendly, efficient housekeeping staff. Excellent front desk customer service. Breakfast was good, had my waffles every day. Only downside, not their fault, some dogs bark/cry when left alone in the rooms

Hotel was clean and conveniently located. Breakfast was available in the lobby, but we did not choose to eat. Unsure of what was offered as a breakfast selection

I would definitely stay at this La Quinta Inn & Suites again

Location is great and the breakfast is good enough for us and what we expect with an included breakfast. Issues we had just this year was that the floors were dirty enough to turn the colors of our socks

Our bathroom tub was dirty and had some mold in the corners so the kids couldn’t take a bath. Other peoples hair was on the floor. The last thing I wanted to do was clean on my vacation

When we got to our room I had to re wipe everything down and the floor was dirty ( sand, and looked like it hasn’t been moped) after wiping the floor the rag was completely brown

The hotel location is centrally located in ocean city with easy access to fantastic restaurants. The hotel is lovely and exceptionally clean! I have already recommended it to family & friends!

The fitness center had everything I needed to keep up with my workout routine while the kids enjoyed the pools. I highly recommend the hotel and the amazing staff for your next getaway

Residence in Ocean City, Maryland Perfect location is only surpassed by exceptional service. Large rooms with a full kitchen welcome you and is ideal for families or friends alike

There is also a great lounge on the second floor for relaxing when you need to rest and want something different from your room… the food is excellent, and they have a great happy hour! The breakfast offers several hot and cold options, and the staff go out of their way to help guests as needed

So if you’re looking for a dog FRIENDLY place this ain’t for you. They don’t allow dogs anywhere in the hotel or outside pool area. There’s no activity area for kids. the ambiance is less lively than I would prefer

I especially appreciated the separate living area so I could work while my little ones napped in the bedroom. The restaurant and bar are extremely convenient with an incredibly friendly staff that mix up great cocktails

They didn't take our garbage or give us clean towels and linens for a couple of days. I did hear a housekeeper say almost all of the housekeeping staff called off the second day we were there

The room was well stocked with towels, toiletries, and even provided pool towels. All of the linens seemed very clean

We had to come in to town for the weekend to tend to some personal affairs, and were pleasantly surprised that the off season nightly rate was only $79! We hadn't stayed at this hotel since 1998, and while it could use some updating, the stay was very nice

We stayed on the 5th floor, and our room had tile floors and a vaulted ceiling

The room was huge, and the view from the sliding glass door was magnificent. The sofa and bed could both use to be replaced - the sofa had significant signs of wear, and the bed was lumpy and hard

The kitchenette and bathroom were both a little dated, and showed signs of age and wear, but both were functional and clean - the bathroom was VERY well lit, which I appreciate
