I have been coming here for about 20 years. Typically spend a week each summer. While the facility is a bit on the old side it is well maintained. This is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. You literally walk out to the beach from the hotel. Pools are very nice. Near to lots of nice restaurants. Highly recommend it. All of the rooms have beautiful floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean.

First time staying with 99, great experience! Ron and staff are extremely informative and helpful, the property looked well, pool was closed half the week for maintenance, no biggie. We have owned a week here for 40 years and enjoy the large suites and balconies. There is plenty of room for 2, 4, and six people. We haven't used the pool since our grandkids were little, but it does look inviting.

This place is my childhood. I've been staying here for a long time. The rooms are nice, you get big rooms and the view is so good. Escape here, it's very nice! You can walk to different places and explore them too. The units are good.

It's a clean enough for a quick stay. I have to be fair I stayed during a hurricane. They had power the entire time. The front desk was rarely around. The soda machines didn't work. The room was a 3 out of 5 clean. Everything looked clean just a bit dingy. I'd say it was an excellent motel

My son and myself stayed here for two days in June 2018 and we had a wonderful experience while staying at this hotel. The room was nice and everything worked as should. The pool was nice and the reception area was clean. The best part was the one employee named Natalie K. She was instrumental in getting us in our room, helping us with our site directions and even helped print off our flight confirmation...

We had to change plans last minute. They made sure that they had a room ready for us and even though we came in around 10pm they were courteous and kind. I recommend staying here if you need a cost efficent hotel with good service

I loved the setting. When you drive up to the building, it's breathtaking. Well at least to me. However, the room i had was really disappointing. It could use a lot of updating. Bathroom wall had what i believe is mold. Ceiling had a leak stain.

We stay here when we come visit our son. Fantastic value. Super staff. Cozy feel to the grounds and rooms. Nice, basic hotel breakfast. Stay off the third floor if you're a non-smoker.

After a long night of driving with no sleep, EVERY SINGLE other place I called wanted to charge me a full night at 6am, checking out at 10am (yes 4 hours at a full night rate!) Room 112 (2 double beds, non-smoking) was very clean and comfortable; nice TV, mini-microwave, mini-refrigerator, 1-cup coffee maker with 4 packs of coffee, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, small table & 2 chairs. My stay was excellent mainly because of the new bartender, Lisa. I have been coming here many years, but now that I found a bartender that takes pride in her drinks, my Oceanfront getaway now has the added bonus of the best Margarita ever! We really enjoyed this resort. You literally walk past the pool and your feet are in the sand. That made for AWESOME mornings. The resort is VERY close to all the action in Daytona, but far enough north to provide a welcomed respite. The room (2 bdrm, 2br) appeared to be all new. The Casa Del Mar is a fantastic place to be! I loved how much space there was in the suite and how many little rooms there were to give each person within the suite some privacy. A fantastic place to bring one's family, since there are amenities like a pool and outdoor games. It is also so close to the beach, which is so easily accessible from the hotel. What a nice place to be in!

The room was clean. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The windows worked so we could open them to hear the ocean. Could it use some updating? Yes, and that seems to be in progress. I felt safe staying there.

The owner was friendly. The price was not as friendly. We paid $120 for a night, included everything EXCEPT no ice machine, no morning coffee and of course no ocean view. Right across the street we could have had everything stated above right at $120. If I had made reservations the trip would have been a lot better. Better lower your prices or up the amenities.

I like the place...I stay on the A1A strip permantly an been in many of these motel rooms an they alright...I even got too drunk and caused a ruckes one night an they still didn't kick me out...stayed here two weeks...their good with me....

Come a week after Hurricane Ian. Hotel was thankfully spared from the damage around the area. Renovative room was outstanding(1 bed and cough bed/Family of 3). The pool was warm throughout the day. Full kitchen was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Full Cable Channels a plus also!

The condo itself was great! All the amenities were as described in the ad. The views were breath taking and truly panoramic. However the front desk staff working was horrible to deal with and confronted guests with terrible attitudes. Very beautiful beach view. Of course the waves are noisy but that's nature. No designated smoking area. Located in front of a mall with great stores and groceries. The only think was our neighbor upstairs would keep his music on the balcony all night and the screaming people from the pools below. Everything else was clean and fine no bugs in site.

The hotel was decent, but not anything I'd get excited over. Parking is a bit of a hassle since the pillars of the parking garage cut into the parking spaces, so be ready for that. Something that DID bug me a bit was the breakfast. Rather than a typical breakfast with eggs and bacon or sausage, you get to make waffles (which were fine) and that's about it. Spent 3nights/2 days, and I would definitely stay there again. The only improvement I have in regard to the room is to install taller toilets; the one in the room was like a kiddie toilet. Rooms are being remodeled since last hurricane. The ADA room has a very spacious, open layout, making it easy for hubby to maneuver around in his power WC. There are 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool.

The view don't get any better. Beach access two pools and a full bar you really don't need to travel far. Parking is the only down fall as the main lot is not very well lit and can be a battle to park

For the price. This is one of the better motels I've stayed at in Florida. The room had a modern feel to it and I felt like I paid more for it than I actually did! Maid was very nice and had a great 1 day stay I'll be back!!!

We have been here for 1 day and night thus far. I am a bit disappointed in the outside bar, but it is great little suite for our family of 4. Comfy bed and pull put sofa and nice size pools. Also great entertainment activities daily. Will stay here again for sure!

This was a pretty great stay. The pull down shade didn’t work in the bedroom and the water in the rooms doesn’t get very hot for showers but otherwise this was a good place to stay. Our stay was wonderful. We had fun and it was kid friendly. Our kids were able to just be kids. The water slide as well as the kid’s area was well kept and easily accessible. The elevators were all in working order. The beach was clean and easy to get to. Don’t recommend the beach chair rental but everything at the resort itself was worth the money. There is even a few places for photo ops.

We loved staying here. We had a great co do on the 15th floor. The view was amazing. The price was well worth the stay. The shops and restaurants on the ocean walk are also amazing.

When we booked through booking. Com it said it had a free Continental breakfast and then right before we leave to come to Florida we find out that they stopped it. That is one of the reasons we booked here. Or tomorrow was suppose to be ready at 4 but didn't get into it until 6. There is only one of the elevators working and that makes for a horrible time. Been coming to this place since I've been a kid and it never disappoints. My kids love the place and love how close it is to the arcade. .. They remodeled it last year and it came out great, the Jimmy heart theme was kicking!!!! Mayan Inn will always be part of our family.

We called ahead and staff was very helpful. Asked for adjoining rooms for family. I also asked if breakfast was included. With 4 children and 3 adults that was an important and expensive detail. I was glad to know there would be a buffet. However, when we got up early to go and eat, i was informed that, as of yesterday, they no longer offered breakfast. Impressed to say the least! Our room is nice everyone that works here is very helpful and accomodating as Well. Great ocean view and very relaxing. One downside I'd suggest having child locks installed on balcony doors for family's with children very easily accessible. Will be back and would recommend! We stayed in room 409 fourth floor and it's perfect.

The rooms were great so was the breakfast but the rooms smelled a little funny and the workers did a okay job.

Not a bad place to stay, Location is solid and has perks and my bed was comfortable. My only issue is they need to work on repairs around the building and make it a little more appealing with some updating. Might consider staying here again in the future when I decide to come back to Daytona if they have a good rate going on.

The location is great. The pool is cool. However, the room had hair in the tub and on the floor as well as sand in the sheets of a bed that we just got into. The tiki bar closes at 9pm (I believe), so that was a bit early for us, especially since we had a family reunion there with 50+ people.

Location is great. Staff was 10/10. The building is older, but ok. The room left a lot to be desired. Room was damp, cracks in the walls, Door to balcony didn't close and lock properly.. Cheap roadside quality bathroom, shower, etc. Looks to have been finished out by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Ive had better quality rooms for half the cost.

It is an old hotel but the room was very clean and organized. The front desk guy was very welcoming and helpful even though it was late. Mary the lady at the breakfast area was doing a lot more than refilling the pastries or coffee, she was greeting guests and giving directions to the pool, the beach and other areas. Based o. Nice location. It appears they were rehabbing rooms. Our room was an Oceanview, over the pool, and was very comfortable. It had the usual weird places for light switches and such, but pretty new looking.

Very nice. The pictures they show do this place no justice. We thought we were on the side with a partial beach view. In reality, we had a fabulous view. It's small but cozy. 2 pools and you are on the beach in 2 minutes. Easy walk to the Pier and Bandshell amphitheater. We will be back.

We were scheduled to be in Florida a week and a half before hurricane Nicole hit. Our condo was deemed unsafe. Holiday Inn Resort was able to accommodate three families and even with ocean front rooms and balconies like we would have had at the condo. Thank you Holiday Inn Resort. The rooms were a little outdated. Carpet felt dirty on my feet. We came to spend time on the beach and the room served it's purpose. Everything worked as it should in the room and the beds were comfortable. Staff was nice and accommodating. We had a full ocean view in room 415. I would rent this room again.

This place can be deceiving from the front street side but once you get into your room and see the view it transform the experience there. We stayed at the executive suite and it’s worth the stay. The staff made sure we had a great time and very attentive. The restaurant was great with friendly staff making this experience a very nice and relaxing one.

We were charged way too much for our room. The room was comfortable and clean. Pool was nice. Breakfast good and staff nice. Had to park across the street because the parking lot was full. We paid extra for an ocean front room. Our room was partially blocked by a wall on the left. That balcony door took super human strength to open.

We were staying at another hotel in the area but came here for dinner, since there weren't many other options in the area. The menu was basic, with nothing particularly out of the ordinary.
